Description: lance friend?
dyane - October 15, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
okay, i have read about him in the official page of dragon booster
but,...
I have never see him or his dragon, in the series!
The Furox - October 15, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
Spratt makes his first appearance in "Broken Bonds" (episode 16). We don't see his dragon, or even find out its name or anything, but Spratt does have a fairly good sized role in that episode. Since they put him on the official web site, he will presumably be back again in a future episode. Not sure when, though.

Dyane, I don't know whether you're mentally disabled or know English as a second language, but some people would really appreciate it if you (and certain others on the board) made some attempts towards simulating literacy, eg. capitalisation, spell check, basic grammar, and so on.

I guess that We will se Spratt's and mortis's dragon in season two or three
Kereea - October 15, 2005 04:25 PM (GMT)
The official site calls his dragon Bumpyr.
Kairos~Lokorr - October 15, 2005 04:41 PM (GMT)
Heh Bumpyr, don't ya just love those descriptive names?
Me I'm waiting to see Tyranis Pax if he's half as interesting as Mortis has been as well as the others that we haven't seen much of or nothing at all. (Abandonn!! An attitude would be nice to see. 'specially if he's half as fierce as he's suppossed to be.)
The Furox - October 15, 2005 05:38 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'd like to see Tyrannis Pax as well. I'm still wondering if he might turn out to be another king-sized dragon so that Mortis and Tyrannis Pax can go head to head against Word and Abandonn. That battle could be fun to see. B)
Plus I wonder if they'll give Tyrannis Pax a mysterious past to line up with the mystery surrounding Mortis. Like he/she turns out to be Beau's father/mother or something. That's a bit cliche I guess, but it might be kind of fun if we ended with both Tyrannis Pax and Mortis in the hidden father roles.
Anyway, I think it would be more interesting if he had some element in his past or something plausible about him that enhanced the story line in some way rather than just being some run-of-the-mill dragon that Mortis suddenly appears with for no reason.

I think Abandonn appears in "Prophet's Motive" or "Still Waters Freeze". I'm not so sure...(And no, I don't know which DB episodes aired this Saturday morning, as of CBC decided to be unpredictable yet again and moving the little kids episode after the big kids episodes, therefore moving the time slots backwards, making me miss the two episodes. <_<)
Abandonn and Word vs. Tyrannis Pax and Mortis? That would be fun to see, and extremely interesting as well. :)

I can see it now...Abandonn roars at Tyrannis Pax, Tyrannis Pax roars back, Abandonn and Tyrannis charge, causing mini-earthquake, Word fights Mortis, Mortis fights Word, Tyrannis Pax roars and knocks Abandonn, Abandonn tail-attacks Tyrannis Pax, Tyrannis Pax insults Abandonn, Abandonn rears back and throws Word off, Abandonn steps back and almost steps on Word, Word screams and runs like a sissy, Moordryd, who was watching, gives a confused face that says "Okay...so who's the disgrace of Paynn again?"...okay, that'll probably never happen. :P

It's a bummer when they can't keep a consistent schedule, isn't it.
If anyone else in Canada caught today's episode, I'd appreciate it if you could email or PM the episode titles to me (if they're new ones, that is) so I can keep the air date history up to date on the DB fan site. Thanks.

I think Tyranus Pax is a blue dragon, from what I remember from the website.
Giant dragin fight, dude, the annoucer will have a feild day with that!

Ok. Sarah Frost, that was completly uncalled for and EXTREAMLY offensive! My brother has Down's Syndrome and is "mentally disabled". I'd really appreciate it if you'd refrain from insulting people because of stupid things like grammar.
Kereea - October 16, 2005 03:36 PM (GMT)
Whoa, easy Baby Beau, I'm sure that no one meant to insult anyone.
Anyway, speaking of dragons we haven't seen, has anyone seen Steward's Gunny? He's probalbly a cute dragon!

Grammar. Is. Not. Stupid.
*fights urge to commit stabbity bloody homicide*
(Note, in big glowing flashing fluorescent letters: Sarcasm Intended.)
I'm sorry, but how is what I said "extreamly" offensive? I think sufferers of some sort of mental problem or people writing in a language not their native one should not be bullied for poor writing skills, and that's why I mentioned it: so that if Dyane had some excuse for his/her/its abuse of the English language, I'd take a step back and live with their atrocious prose.
As to my use of the term "mentally disabled", I apologise if that's not the politically correct term; I am aware that terms such as "retarded" are indeed offensive, and if "developmentally troubled" or "special needs" is in fact what is commonly used, then please enlighten me.

You know, since Spratt has the same logo on his jeans that is painted on Fracshun and Lance's helment, then I think it's a safe bet that Bumpyr has the design too.
Bumper-noun
1.A peice of metal that absorbs the shock of a collision 2.One who bumps (did not understand that at all, but I'm using a little kid's dictionary, so bear with me).
Well, this really goes with the descrpition that Spratt breaks a lot of things, so guess the name means that Bumpyr helps with breaking or frequenly collides with things.

Yeah, I'm guessing that, too.
And you know what's weird? Spratt did not break anything in "Broken Bonds", and turned out to be a really good shot with a vial of gold draconium. <_<

Well, Spratt did "break" his friendship with Lance... ;)
Seriously though, I imagine we'll be seeing Spratt getting into various types of mischief and acting a bit too hastily (like when he decided to join the Dragon Eyes) when we see him in future episodes. (And I'm guessing we'll see him again since they put him on the official web site.)
Kereea - October 17, 2005 10:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah, if they put him instead of Voicy, or somebody else, he'll probalbly get more important.
