with some changes it would

uh huh, pretty much all you have to do is change to shoulder blade and remove the wing. it's a good start for proportions.

Natalilly - September 22, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
Damn, i have a book at home with MUCH better versions of dragon anatomy... but it's all the way in Australia >.<

ZephyrPenn - May 26, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
I wonder if someone could make a dragon booster dragon anatomy.

Skye - May 28, 2006 12:16 AM (GMT)
I would be willing to do the anatomy of a dragon from dragon booster ^ _ ^

ZephyrPenn - May 28, 2006 05:36 PM (GMT)
I wll too. Maybe a skeleton for each class. Like a psi class dragon, Bull class, Magma class and we each can work on our own .I call dibs on dragon of legend!

Skye - May 28, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
^_^ you can do dragon of legend, i'm just doing a generalization of each, upright, all fours heavy/medium

Pursoot - June 1, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)

After i watched the Drawing Horses Tutorial on the Spirit DVD, I started drawing all of my dragon in the same way. For dragon like Draco from DragonHeart i used my Dinosaur skeletons. For Dragon City Dragons, i used current day animals like dogs and cats and horses. i just can't seem to get a front face picture drawn thought.

Sorry to drag this old topic from the dust pile, but a guest was looking at it, and I came here. I checked out the website, and I am greatly impressed with what the website said.

This is my favourite.

That guest was me just to let you know because I hadn't logged on.

Yeah, the site was okay but in one section dragon flight was listed as part magic. The word 'magic' is just a very old reference to things in life that early man could not explain. Nowdays "Magic" has complex explainations, so to the person whom wrote that on the site should say something else.

I saw a really good DB bipedal drawing on DA if it's worth checking out.

By the way Cain, how could you tell that a guest was reading this topic before you actually visited this page?

Cain - July 26, 2010 01:22 PM (GMT)
I looked at the Board Statistics, when there are guests on the board. Curious as to what they are doing, and sometimes, discover 'old' topics such as Dragon Skeleton.

That is how I know. Magic is complex, and not easily explained, as you pointed out.

Fire Flame - August 5, 2010 08:03 PM (GMT)
The fire breathing and draconium dragon I would think would be similar in body structures such as the skeleton
I have to dragonology books and they both have close to the same structure

One state about one particular organ. now wether draconium dragon have this I do not know, but since draconium dragons cant breath fire I highly dought it.

QUOTE
" The draconis fundamentum - chemicals made in this organ move into the lungs, where the dragon's breath weapon is generated."

From the book A Practical Guide To Dragons Inscribed by Sindri Suncatcher

A skeleton and muscle structure of the draconium dragons would be neat to see.
lol :-) :D
