| Currently, we have a great plot. We'll start as soon as we get mates for both Myst and Derec. If you read it, you'd know why. Ugh, hurry up people, sign up..! We want to make this place more active, and plots do that most of the time. So sign up, you might have a chance of being one of the major parts in the plot.. But only two positions are open. | Myst- Well, since we can't get a header up, we'll post the news down here for now. Currently we have a new plot, check it out. It's in the plots board, just so you know. Erm, Dreams' Clarity is in need of a few new members.. -pokes the only member- It is just Blaken and Myst.. Maybe some new users can post at the boarderlands? ^^; Derec- Hmm... I'm a-likin' the new layout. I figured out how to get this up in the headers ^^ Oh, by the way, I made up that genius plot from within the depths of my own super-active and hyper mind. Err... well, I encourage new dogs to join Shimmering Sights, as we need members. POST AT THE BORDERS. |
It is currently summer. It's 80 degrees out, so take a break and try to find as much shade as possible. Maybe a nice swim? Or just swarming under a nice tree with some friends. Just remember, stay cool, you don't want to get dehydrated. |

OK, basic plot summary (cut short in interest of time):
After some while, both Derec and Myst find mates whom they love a bunches. They both think they shall be totally devoted towards those mates... and then they encounter eachother. It is love at first sight. Both of them have this itchy feeling to get with the other, but neither of them can bring themselves to really do it at first, because they still love their mates. However, they both realize that they both have the same thoughts, and though they feel horrible about it for the betrayal of their mates, they want to strengthen their love, and secretly go out on moonlit walks, etc. Eventually, Derec and Myst's mates start to get suspicious of these common disappearances. One night, while on a search for them, the two encounter eachother. Confused, they each explain that their mate told them whatever excuse they'd told them before. They start to dawn upon the truth, but are still doubtful of this. They know their mates love them- they wouldn't do that to them, right? The continued secret visits between Myst and Derec go on, though. Finally, it is too much for each of their mates to take it. While the two sore lovers are out on a quiet date, their mates team up onn a search for them and discover the two snuggling together. Completely mortified, Derec's mate turns around and tries to flee, but accidentally trips and spears herself on some pointy object or another. Derec, worried sick for his mate, rushes to her side. She manages to live, though she is now somewhat of a vegetable- she cannot do pretty much anything on her own, and the most extensive care is provided for her. While Derec remains with her to comfort and care for her, Myst's mate, appalled and heartbroken, leaves her and forms his own pack. This opens up many opportunities for future plots, too. Now both Derec and Myst are heartbroken because of their mates. They might still say a friendly Hello to eachother once in a while, but the bond between them is loose now- all love issues forgotten. Alright, this is our new plot everyone! But remember, when roleplaying you can't change anything that has been written out. So just remember that, otherwise it won't happen as planned, and it would lead to loads of people being mad at you.. xD

I sorta don't think that Derec is that shallow. I think she'll accept you, after all, you just complimented her plot. ^^

Thanks.... though I wish we could get more dogs involved, however. It'd be more fun for everyone that way.

well if you take into account the amount of dogs needed for Myst's mates pack and the other friends they might have or talk to then it does involve a few more than four or five. There's also the other dogs Myst and Derec would have to meet before they chose which mates they really wanted to be with.

Well, FoxFire has a point. I would lurve to take part in this plot... But meh, then again, that's me... always wanting the action xD
Question: Now both Derec and Myst are heartbroken because of their mates. They might still say a friendly Hello to each other once in a while, but the bond between them is loose now- all love issues forgotten. ^Is that Derec and his mate, along with Myst and her mate, who’s love is torn? Or Derec and Myst’s love? Ai, I should have made that clearer. Derec still loves and cares for his mate even while she is a vegetable, but feels incomplete because she offers no love back to him. Derec and Myst's relationship is shattered, however, for the plight they both went through.
