| Currently, we have a great plot. We'll start as soon as we get mates for both Myst and Derec. If you read it, you'd know why. Ugh, hurry up people, sign up..! We want to make this place more active, and plots do that most of the time. So sign up, you might have a chance of being one of the major parts in the plot.. But only two positions are open. | Myst- Well, since we can't get a header up, we'll post the news down here for now. Currently we have a new plot, check it out. It's in the plots board, just so you know. Erm, Dreams' Clarity is in need of a few new members.. -pokes the only member- It is just Blaken and Myst.. Maybe some new users can post at the boarderlands? ^^; Derec- Hmm... I'm a-likin' the new layout. I figured out how to get this up in the headers ^^ Oh, by the way, I made up that genius plot from within the depths of my own super-active and hyper mind. Err... well, I encourage new dogs to join Shimmering Sights, as we need members. POST AT THE BORDERS. |
It is currently summer. It's 80 degrees out, so take a break and try to find as much shade as possible. Maybe a nice swim? Or just swarming under a nice tree with some friends. Just remember, stay cool, you don't want to get dehydrated. |

The Borderlands Come here and let out a howl for Derec to come and see if you are worthy for his pack. He's normally looking for collected individuals, but will diverse his pack. It is advisable to be calm around Derec when you are trying to be accepted, for he won't tolerate smartmouths or boorish dogs. Forum Led by: Derec |

Shenandoah Cascades The Shenandoah Cascades are beautiful, gushing waterfalls. They aren't very tall, but the more adventurous dogs will enjoy taking a leap off of them into the shallow pool of water beneath. The Cascades are a secluded place, and you can often find Derec here, thinking about life, the universe, and basically everything... Forum Led by: Derec |

Terena Woods Quite a large expanse of pine, spruce, oak, beech, and ash trees cover this area of the Shimmering Sights packlands. Unlike almost every other place in the territory, these woods are abundant with noise- the chirping of birds, the chatter of squirrels, the rustle of leaves, etc. This is a fun play place for any dog. The Dirt Road Out in the middle of an open field, a lonely, dusty dirt road cuts through in a straight line, leading to the city. It's not used by cars very often, but surrounding the road is the only open country in all of the packlands, so it's a good place to run. Beware of the occasional car, though. Forum Led by: Derec |

Pack Dens Here in this area are a convenient variety of caves, ditches, uprooted trees, etc, etc, that make good use for dens. There are not enough dens for each dog to have one individually, and so they'll have to be shared, but at least that provides warmth from the body heat of others, which is advantageous and wanted during winter. The Meeting Area Out in a small, rather clamped clearing in the immense woods of the packlands stand a couple of large, flat rocks. This area serves as a meeting place for the members of Derec's pack, be it for the sharing of news, the organization of group activities, plotting, etc. Generally, Derec stands upon the tallest rock, with each lesser rock being the mount of the rest of the pack based on ranks, in descending order.
