Did John go and see them? Is a report from him forthcoming?

Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2,
is famous throughout the entertainment industry
for being more than just a little self righteous.

At a recent U2 concert in Glasgow Scotland
he asked the audience for total quiet.

Then, in the silence, he started to lowly clap his hands once every few seconds.
Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone,
"Every time I clap my hands a child in Africa dies."

From the front of the crowd a voice with a broad Scottish accent
pierced the quiet,,,,,,,,

Well f--ckin stop doin it then, ya evil bastard.

The punchline from the joke told by Robin Williams is, 'then stop clapping your hands'.

Who saw U2 at Somerville Theater?

I just bought two pricey tickets for September 2009. I must admit the last time I went to see U2, it did anger me a bit to get a 15-20 minute talk on feeding the world's hungry while I paid $123.00 to see U2 play music not lecture. Bono needs to do his preaching out and about not at concerts. They still put on an awesome show and I like their new album a lot.
