It was just the beginning of summer and it was a beautiful hot and sunny day. It was the perfect day to start a new life. Allison stood in front of the resort’s entrance. She took a deep breath of the fresh summer air, to ease her nerves. The sun beat down on Allison’s bare shoulders. She had stood up all night trying to fid the right outfit to make a good first impression. She ended up picking a simple summer dress, and dressing it up with accessories. She opened her purse and grabbed her compact. Ally rechecked her makeup and applied some lipstick. She didn’t know she would be so nervous just for a job interview, but she needed this job. It was her only getaway from her step-mother. There was no turning back.

Allison walked into the huge lobby of the Kellerman’s. She smiled, approving the interior décor. Her heels snapped behind her as she made her way to the front desk.
