We will be starting at Grassy Plains, but the field will rotate according to the roll of a 20-sided die. Let the game begin! Ding... ding!))

With his partners pumped and ready to fight, Riko stood with them in an endless field of grass. He looked to each of his companions and gave them a smirk, "How do you guys feel?"

"Well." The Lucemon stood firm with his wings folded behind him and his arms crossed. Graz was, indeed, the tallest of the Digimon present, so he seemed even more menacing as he waited for more people to show up.

Mayer nodded with Eva perched on his head as always, "We're all set."

"Dargo?" Riko addressed his oldest partner. The Gabumon hadn't said a word since they arrived.

"I'm ready. I'm just a little edgy, that's all."

They all nodded since they knew how he felt. They were anxious to begin the battle that none of them could sit still, and their tamer felt his energy peak as he looked to his D-Ban to do a system check. His armor was already extended and his knife hung loosely from his belt

The spirits of flame burned inside him, and awaited their chance to be unleashed. He just hoped his baby sister would be ready to defend herself at any cost.

[Zander Steele]

(Just as a few extra notes, the rotation will occur every three "full" turns (once all characters have had a go) for your viewing pleasure. Please sit back and enjoy the ride. The rotation will not begin until battle officially starts.)

"Looks like one of our opponents is already here..." The silver-haired Dark Tamer said, and it was the one he didn't care to see. The dark silver eyes moved over the four Digimon, the dark-skinned boy and his fancy armor, and the limitless grasslands around them.

"Sssii.." Onimaru hissed, the Bewitching Beast Digimon trying to find words in his limited vocabulary. The Arkadimon drug its scythe-like claws through the grass as it loped after its tamer, "Kill.. tamer?"

"No killing yet. We're here to show our skills, unfortunately." Dirge the Hawkmon spoke up again, his wings crossed as he walked slightly behind the group, feeling the breeze soak through his feathers.

"I bet we'll get the chance. Riko and his team has always known how to give a good fight." Koro floated along beside Bael, who was in turn walking on the side of Zander not occupied by an Arkadimon. The little Impmon looked sleepy and didn't say anything as they stopped in front of Riko and his partners not mroe then a few feet away.

"Looks like we're facing off again?" Zander asked uninterested, cocking his brow at the other boy.

"Are you sure about this?" Leelu asked. The Gotsumon trudged through the grass alongside her tamer.

"She's right. You don't have to do this if you don't want to." Ross buzzed overhead.

"Guys, we've been over this. I'm okay." Cortana tried to reassure her partners.

"But you know how dangerous this can get, right?" The Guilmon, Furl, speed up and stopped in front of her forcing her to stop.

Gabriel nodded as she flapped to stay in the air, "We don't want to hurt you if your beast spirit gets out of control again."

"I know." The girl bowed her head, "But Riko will be there, and Rayner, too. They'll look out for me, and even now, I've gotten better with it."

"You sure?" Leelu asked again.

"I'm sure." Looking up, the girl saw two figures in the distance. One looked quite familiar, but the other was a new face to her, "Check it out! RIKO!"

As she made a dash for her brother, her partners followed close behind.

"Boy this better be worth the trip" Weiss droned on as he set his sights to the three tamers and their partners already attending the "grassy plains meeting" that had been set up. To his left was a calculating Renamon, standing taller then his tamer in his winter colors, and to his right was a shorter, but much tougher black Agumon. On his right shoulder was a Dokunemon peering over at the group of participants, and on his back, vines wrapped gently around his waist and looking over his other shoulder, was a Palmon who was dozing lightly.

They reached the area with the other tamers, and Weiss let his voice be heard, for he wasn't the type of gamer to just sit around, "Hey there! Name's Weiss. Guess i'm a little late, huh?"

The Dokunemon stirred on his right shoulder, peering out with her odd eyes at the rest, "Hi, i'm Twilight."

Snorting, the Agumon glared at them all, glowing eyes showing hints of bloodlust, "Charon..."

"Crystal," the Palmon spoke up after hearing Weiss talk, retracting the vines of one hand to wave at them all, Nice to meetcha."

"This is Legion, or you can call him Gio like the rest of us." Weiss gestured to the Renamon, who barely nodded in their direction, "So, when do we start this event? Is it turn-based?"

The greener the grass was, the sicker it made Sulu to look at it. The Kotemon kept his wooden sword in hand in case danger befell him. He thought his tamer was being quite irrational by taking on a challenge of such proportions.

Following Spock, or rather flying above him was Chekov. As a Biyomon, he took pride in being gifted with wings. Below him was Uhura, the energetic Plotmon.

"Maybe I'm just a sucker for a good pounding," Kirk, the valiant Veemon spoke, "But at what point did become interested in fighting?"

Their tamer, a dirty blonde, stopped short. Lyd had been waiting for this for a long time, and it wasn't like her to be star-struck, but the tamers that were there seemed to out of her league,"I'm not, but I will if there's a point."

"And what's the point." Uhura squeked from below.

"To have fun." None of them could argue that, and none of them wanted to. Wherever Lyd went, they were their, too.

Approaching the other tamers and their Digimon, she heard a boy ask about turns and wondered what he meant, "I'm Lyd. These are my partners."

[Zander Steele]

"Dang! We're late for the party again!." Ryu spoke up among the last group of people to arrive. Along with the Renamon on his armored back, feet and tail dragging in the grass, the Ryuudamon also carried a bad of assorted soda in his short arms. The Guilmon walking on the other side of the tamer with them carried another similar bag and a Veemon on her back.

As the hurried to catch up to the other five tamers, Rayner waved, "Yeah, sorry to keep you all waiting. I stopped to get refreshments for us all." He smiled, noticing only one tamer here that he recognized except for his brother, "Hey Cortana, Zander. Uhh, who's against who here?"

The thought crossed his mind as Ryu and Redemption set the bags down in the middle I all of them.Not only were there drinks in the bag, but a few snacks too.

Nodding to Zander, they both knew that their unfinished business would be something of a spectacle. Seeing the other tamers arrive, he watched Cortana run toward him.

"Hey, Corry." Riko hugged his sister tightly. He then turned to address the issue of pairing. This match consisted of thirty players, and the rules were already in place.

"We'll pair up in the order we showed up in." Taking charge, he pointed to the other tamers, "I'll take Zander. Corry and Weiss will go at it, and Rayner will take Lyd."

His partners waster no time in getting started. Dargo knew his place was against Koro, and there was no question about it; they were about to be locked in an immovable struggle. Still, Dargo had to admit that there had be a little fun in this. Once again, they were facing off, and he'd be lucky to get some hits in. Focusing his on his breathing, the Gabumon released a blast of blue flames to the cog.

Mayer had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Staring down the own who was involved in the death of his beloved friend, Sokka. Who would have thought that after all this time, he'd finally get his chance to make Bael feel just a sliver of how he felt? He shared no words, unleashing a fireball toward the Impmon

Small, but nimble, Eva followed Mayer's lead, not saying a word as she pushed herself forward. Dirge was her target and she would make sure to give him her best.

"The move is yours, demon." Graz felt the need to pace himself and wait for opportune moments to strike.

With his partners on the move, Riko had to concentrate of Zander. Would the boys kill each other in an attempt to see who was better? He could only do what he trained to do, and that was to be creative. Raising an eyebrow, he drew his knife and steadied himself, "Shall we?"

Sighing, Zander knew that Riko would tell them what to do. Still though, it didn't matter to him. He was here for action, a break from relaxation and the normal craziness.

As Dargo attacked, Koro floated to the side. His frame heated up quickly with the heat from the flames, but it did no long-term damage. A quick spin shook off the remainder of the fire, but put Koro in no position to counterattack. He instead leveled himself evenly with the Gabumon, waiting for the next attack.

Bael cracked his knuckled and smirked as the Agumon targetted him. In a flash, the Impmon had jumped sideways out of the fire and had charged, leaping agains once he was within range and coming down fast on the Agumon with a series of super fast kicks, "Machinegun Kick!"

Dirge took to the skes them oment Dargo had fired, seeing Eva running towards him. Twisting his head, he flicked it and sent the feather perched on his headband spinning like a boomerang at her.

Last but not least, the Arkadimon "blinked" so to speak, when Graz spoke to him. Looking over at Zander, he recieved an approving nod and looked at the other Digimon. Raising its sickles, it advanced slowly, strafing the oter Child level as if stalking prey.

Zander took a step forward as Riko prepared himself, clenching his fists. The Crest that was visible just inside his coat starded to glow with purple light and fill Zander with energy, as well as his partners.

"We shall..." Zander replied, advancing in a run. He stopped short and brought his right leg up in a high roundhouse towards Riko's knife hand, trying to disable him.

Seeing Riko in action was amazing to watch, but Cortana also had a part to play. Looking to her partners, she nodded, "You guys, too."

With that, Ross buzzed to the Dokunemon, "Hello. My name is Ross, and I hope we have an interesting battle!"

Salutations aside, Furl gazed at the black Agumon and gave a nod. Afterward, he quickly released energy from his mouth, "Pyro Sphere!"

Gabriel followed Furl's lead. Targeting Crystal, the puff expanded as she inhaled, the expelled it in a ball of air.

Leelu's rocky smile faded as everyone had picked their opponents. The Renamon in front of her was daunting and she knew what she was in for, "Why do I always get stuck with the fast ones?"

Being quick about her move, she lunged forward with her head down to rush her opponent.

Cortana looked to Weiss with a frail sense of certainty. The boy was much older than her, and she wasn't quite adept at hand to hand combat. If only she was fighting the other girl- She tried to keep her cool as she addressed him, "Do you have a spirit?"

Twilight scooted down Weiss's side and legg, coming to the ground and meesing the Tentomon, "I hope so too."

Weiss felt the Palmon release him and smiled back at Cortana, a look of excited battle-lust in his eyes, "Alright, go!"

At once, the Dokunemon on the ground disappeared, seemingly shifting to match the surroundings. Over the other attacks already being made, her gentle scuttling to one side wouldn't be heard.

Snorting, The agumon backhanded the incoming fireball, using the pain of the attack to fuel his anger. Running forwards Furl, Charon lashed out angrily with his claws in a double swipe.

Retracting her vines, Crystal couldn't find the footing to stop the Boom Bubble from knocking her off her feet, though she quickly got back up and retaliated. Shaking the large flower on her head, blow glowing powder erupted as she shook, trailing over towards the Patamon, "Sleep Spore!"

Leelu was right to be quick, because although Legion wasn't a talker, he was a fighter. LEaping upwards as the opponent charged, a simple maneuver for counterign a simple attack, the Renamon came back down, right leg extended further then the left in a flying kick at the back of Leelu.

"Hell yeah!" Weiss responded to Cortana's question, clenching both fists at once. As excitement overwhelmed him, he took a stance similar to an anime he used to watch back on earth and let the aura of his blackish-red Digisoul take him. It started out dubtle, but as Weiss' eagerness grew so did its potency until it was roaring to life all around him. feedign the energy into his D-ban by a ring of data that had encircled his hand, he said, "Execute! Spirit Evolution!"

He grew a bit taller, and his clothes were beign replaced with black that covered his entire body. He grew a tail and became more reptilian, and also more machine-like in the face. As the form of Sealsdramon finally took over, Weiss slipped the large knife from the back holster on his new belt, then begun to flip and spin the knife expertly, "Ready when you are! I hope the game server can match my speed!" he said in his new deeper voice, for the supernatural speed granted by his new form might be too much for the game system. Still though, like a good fighter, he waited for his opponent fo get ready.

"I hope you're ready for me." Lyd shook out her limbs before summoning the bluish-white data ring to her hand. Running it across the surface of her D-Ban, she let it scan and spread over her body, "Spirit Evolution!"

The dark warrior appeared from the light driven encasement quickly. Her limbs were thin, but her torso was thick with a large face of a black lion on her chest. Wisps of dark energy swarmed until they solidified into a lance with a blade at each end. The Lowemon was ready and waiting for Rayner.

Watching his tamer start things off, the Biyomon took flight once more and barreled toward the Ryuudamon. Chekov would use his beak as a weapon, "Hard Beak!"

Readying his sword, Sulu waited for the right moment to strike. Miuki would be a quick opponent, but he'd make the best of the situation.

Uhura looked to Judgment; the Plotmon smiled, "You and me?"

Last, but not least, Kirk charged to Redemption, leaping forward to hit her with his head.

"What about the drinks?" Rayner said as battles sprugn up everywhere. The forgotten bags of goods lay there without use, and Rayner felt kinda irritated that he wasted money on them.

Summoning the familiar data ring, he slashed it and started to change. The white skin, white feathered wings, blue and gold clothing, and strange helmet formed onto the Angemon as a holy staff appeared in his right hand. He spun the staff, letting the power flow through him before leaping forward towards the Lowemon as he swung his staff in a horizontal arc towards Lyd.

Seeing the Biyomon dive, Ryu, put pressure on his legs, released the pressure, and leapt up towards Chekov as fast as he could, his head lowered and his armored skull aimed to deflect the attack, "Kabuto Kaneshi!" the deflection caused pain in the Ryuudamon's neck as the two forces met, though he hoped he woud get the same reaction from the Biyomon.

Stolling over, Miuki looked at the Kotemon preparing for battle and blew him a kiss, "Wish ya luck!" She then crouched low and leapt, seemign to stall in the air as she crossed her arms. As shards of energy formed around her, shimmering i nthe sun, she etended her arms to either side and sent the shards down at an angle towards Sulu, "Fox Leaf Arrowhead!"

As Judgement judged the Plotmon's form, cracked his knuckles and said, "You bet!" Then he started running forward, his right arm drawn back and his hand balled into a fist. As he put force into it, he leapt shortly towards the Plotmon and punched outward towards his opponent's face, "Victory Punch!"

As the last of the combatants charged her, Redemption snorted with mocking glee. It was such a simple maneuver to counter, as long as she could coutner it right, and she usually could. Taking a step backwards as her mouth filled with fire, she shot it, not at the charging Digimon, but at his feet. The Fire Grenade was a cotnact eplosive, so the ground was more then enough to set it off and hopefully halt the Veemon's process. Kirk lookes like her brother, but by his scent, she could more then find out who was who.

The Gabumon rushed ahead, itching to get the fight underway. He knew Koro had more than evasive action in his, and he would draw it out. Firing another blast, Dargo cut to his right; curving back toward Koro in a hope that he had the element of surprise.

As the barrage of kicks hit him, Mayer was overwhelmed with the blows. He was ready to burn the imp, and that’s exactly what he would do. No matter what, he would have vengeance, and Bael was close enough to for him to get it, “Smile pretty! Pepper Breath!”

Eva had her own problems with the hawk Digimon that took to the skies, leaving her behind. She stopped and watched Dirge as he launched his feather at her, “That doesn’t look good.”

Moving to her left, it missed her by a few inches. The Terriermon had to be creative like the others, but for now, she had to retaliate. Green bullets exited her mouth toward the Hawkmon quickly.

Graz awaited a strike from the creature. He would not be moved, as he was confident in his abilities to fight this creature on his own.

The knife flew out of Riko’s hand as the foot connected with it. Fortunately, he wouldn’t let it slow his roll. Stepping forward, the boy brought his left arm up to protect his face, sending his right arm straight to Zander’s chest. The armor-covered fist would surely knock the air out of him if it didn’t send him flying.


“Uh-oh.” Ross said to himself as he instantly lost track of his opponent. This wouldn’t be good for the long run, but he knew that she would have to make herself visible to attack. Patience was the key now.

Furl scoffed as Charon swatted his attack. He knew he met his match from the way the saurian seemed to use his anger as his main strength. Turning, the Guilmon swung his tail at Charon.

“HA!” Gabriel cheered as her attack made contact, but the moment passed quickly as her recuperated and went on the offensive. Some kind of powder sprinkled around her, and she immediately felt tired. She fought to stay awake, but her eyes drooped and staying in the air became a chore. Landing on the ground, Gaby wobbled a bit as she tried to stay focused on Crystal.

Leelu’s target was exceedingly quick on his feet, ending up behind her. She felt something strike her, pushing her forward and down. Using her power she slammed her hands to the gound, causing pillars of stone to spring up around her.

Cortana was surprised at the boy and his will to get right down to business. She followed his lead, “I guess we’re starting with spirits, then.”

She scanned the single data ring across her D-Ban, letting it surround her for the transformation. She grew in height and muscle, and her white and light blue armor shone brightly. The Warrior of Light pointed her arm cannon at the Weiss with a click, “Come on, then.”

“Maybe we’ll take a sip later, but bone up!” Lyd said behind the facemask of her spiti form. The Lowemon rooted her stance and lifted her staff with both hands. The Angemon’s strike landed, connecting with her weapon and blocking her from harm. She wanted to stay in an impasse for a moment to look at her opponent. She like being in the presence of angelic beings; it made her feel like she was getting more bang for her buck as she bettered herself. Pushing her staff forward, Lyd shifted her weight and turned at 180 degrees, thrusting on of the blades back toward Rayner.

“UGH!” Chekov’s skull thumped as it connected with Ryu’s. The Biyomon lost control and plummeted to the ground, dizzy and disoriented. He landed and rolled, trying to find his center quickly, “Whoa!”

Nodding, Sulu watched Miuki leap into the air. Dashing toward her, he aimed to run underneath her and let the shards hit the ground where he once stood. Coming out behind her, he turned and raced back, hoping to catch her as she landed.

Uhura smiled, but wiped it away quickly when everyone took on their respective opponents. She wasn’t quick enough, though; feeling a scaly fist on her face, “Ow! I wasn’t ready!”

With that, the Plotmon nashed her teeth as she went to tackle him as payback.

Feeling something underneath him, Kirk was pushed upward. Being vaulted out of his own way, he landed a less than graceful landing. His pride took more of a hit than anything, but he looked forward to remedy that soon. Standing, he waited for the Guilmon to make her move.

This time around, Koro managed to dodge the flame completely, spinning his gear-hands quickly as he turned and backed away from where the flames were aimed. After the danger had passed, he spun himself as well, flingin both smaller gears and himself at Dargo in a three-way attack.

"Ah nuts!!" Bael barely had time to yell as the flame blew him a short distance away. It just went to show that fire-users could get burned just as badly as non-fire users. Standing back up and brushing himself off with a twinge of pain, he put his familiar cocky smirk back into place, "Hah! Bet you can't do that again!"

Dirge felt the first bullet of energy fly past him as he concentrated on flying, but got distracted by catching his feather again and took two hits to the chest and right wing. Regardless, he managed to stay afloat, circling around before diving quickly, preparing to rake across the Terriermon with his talons.

Not seeing his opponent make the first move was confusing to Onimaru, as Zander had always taught him to defend and counterattack first. However, that didn't mean he didn't know how to start off a fight. Lurching forward from his strafe, he edged more to the left, then feinted at the last moment back to the right and came at Graz with a sickeningly sharp scythe.

The roundhouse worked, but at a disadvantage for himself... well a disadvantage for someone else maybe, for he had a little insurance policy clasped around his neck. The Stone Cloak flowed as he grasped it, and as he planted his feet on the ground from the previous kick and saw Riko readying an armored punch to throw at him, he whirled his cloak i nfront of him, letting it not only take the full brunt of the punch with seemingly no effort at all, but with no additional force that would usually knock away the cloak and allow the punch through. A perfect defense from physical assaults, thanks to Lady Insomnia of course.

Zander's next ocurse of action was a left hook from under the cloak, his right and hkeeping up a strong defense. With Riko so close because of the punch, Zander aimed the punch at the side of Riko's leg, near the knee, in an attempt to bring him down.

Attempting to scuttle behind Ross, Twilight looked up, readying something inside herself, then firing a blob of stick web at the Tentomon which quickly unfurled into a net, "Capture Net!" It would give away her position, but for the chance at such an early lead, she would make the risk.

Having already planned and carried out an attack pattern, Charon too katvantage of the momentum and adrenaline already in his system and blocked the tail swing with his first claw swipe. Shifting the position of his second claw and tensing his muscles a bit more, he instead threw multiple super-fast jabs with his claw at the dragon's side, "Mach Jab Combo!"

A swet smile came onto Crystal's plant-like face as she saw her spores doing their magic. Waiting until the Patamon was on the ground, she thrust both arms into the ground, claws first, then said, "Root Stretch!" and began sending those long tendril-like claws into a curving motion, then back up and towards the surface, hopefully giving Gabriel a nice surprise.

THe pillars came up right where Legion landed, nocking him off balance and sending him twisting away. As he fell, he saw the other Renamon displaying her shard-creating abilities liek a novice and afforded himself a small bit of gratitude for Weiss teaching him to be so creative. Snapping his fingers, her slashed the air afterwards sending a smaller, more concentrated bunde of energy chards arcing their way towards Leelu as he hit the ground and rolled, taking a little damage from the fall.

"Scouter Monoeye" Weiss took the time to say as Cortana evolved, checking the Wolfmon for possible weaknesses. With a twirl, he was off in a blur of motion, superhuman speed carrying this knife-wielding assassin closer to his target. Sprinting to be behind her, he opted to try a backhanded slash across the back of her neck, should she have not been able to track him.

Feeling more then seeing the oncoming danger made Rayner engage the use of his sig large wings once the Loweemon had decided to push him away, gettign him out of range of her next attack by just a foot or so. He stood his ground, unsure of whether or not to attack again or go for a special move. HE hated wastign energy, and this girl-turned-Digimon looked and acted like she knew what she was doing.

Ryu landed very badly back onto solid ground, head slightly fogging over from the blow, "Ow ow ow ow....." he stated, looking around for the bird, "Hey, are you alright?"

Miuki got caught as she landed, tumbling i nthe grass and landing awkwardly upside down. She righted herself with her strong shoulder muscles, hopping back to her feet, "Ow! You shouldn't his a lady you know!" Miuki chimed loudly as her fists became covered in flame and she charged the Kotemon quickly and aimed a streight punch into his facemask.

Regaining his balance, Judgement quickly lost it again as the puppy tackled him, "Hey, get off meee!!!" he yelled, attempting to aim a Vee Headbutt at her.

"Standing around won't win a thing..." Redemption scoffed at the Veemon, "You're just like my brother, too cocky for your own good." As she scolded the Veemon, more for trying to blind him with anger then anything, she inhaled and launched another Fire Grenade at his feet.

Dargo knew he couldn't stop and change directions mid-run. Only seconds remained until impact, but instinct kicked in. In a mad leap, he vaulted himself over the Hagurumon, rolling flat on his back. He wasted no time for breath, standing up to see if Koro would swing around, but he fired another burst in an attempt to at least through him off.

"I'll keep doing it!" The Agumon shot back, advancing into a sprint toward Bael, swinging his claws at the imp Digimon.

Eva saw the hit she made and smiled to herself. She was getting better, but it wasn't over yet. The hawk now plunged through the sky toward her; talons outstretched. She did what she thought was best, launching herself up to slap him with her large ears.

The angel managed to back away from the slashing sickles before. He summoned power to his hand to create a pink energy sword. Swinging it vertically, he aimed to take Onimaru's head off.

As his hand impacted the impenetrable cloak, Riko pulled his hand back, "AH!"

The boy caught a pain in his leg that caused him to falter and stumble back.

Now caught in the net, Ross still couldn't see his opponent. Struggling against the stickiness of it, Ross turned quickly firing a current of electricity randomly.

Furl was caught by the super-fast jabs from the Agumon. It cause him to stumble back, but he caught himself, and jumped to his opponent; batting his left claw at him, but leaving his right one free for another attack.

So sleepy from the powder that just washed over her, Gabriel wobbled on the ground. She found it hard to keep her thoughts in order, but the impact of Crystal's vines didn't make it any easier. The Patamon was sent into the air and tumbled down. She struggled to return to her feet as the pain set in.

The scratching of the shards on her rocky hide irritated Leelu even more. Turning to where the Renamon fell, she lowered she head and fired rocks that were here ears. This happened in a machine-gun-like fashion.

"Damn." Cortana whispered to herself, catching a glimpse of Weiss before he almost completely disappeared. Pulling her twin lightsabers from her back holster.
