"Aj do you ever think about what it would be like is mom and dad were still alive"

"I try not too,but Im sure we would be still in New York,instead of out here.."

"Aj,do you think that they are still with us?,thats what Pastor James said.."

"Hmm,thats a hard question...I would like to think so,but..I don't know..."

"I think they are,infact big brother...I know they are.."

At that moment,Aj had awaken from his dream and looked around him to see where he was.He was in his camp near the swamp with Piyomon and Labramon.It was just them,no one else..but who was this Kate?He had not see the person's face,but her voice was familar to him."Kate,why did you call me big brother?",he asked himself as he searched his mind for answers as he stood to his feet and looked up at the morning glow of the sun as it began to rise up into the sky.

Two digimon stood just outside AJ's camp, one was small the other was rather large. They sat in the morning sun and enjoyed a few minutes together as old friends.

"Elder," said the large one, "you're sure this is the right human?"

"Yes my friend," the small digimon replied, "test this human, and if he passes, become his protector."

"Elder," there was worry on the giant's voice, "he already has two partners, what if they gang up on me?"

"True, true," the elder said, "I will keep the Piyomon busy so you can fight the Labramon in peace."

"Thank you old friend," The giant said with a smile.

The two digimon burst suddenly into the human's camp. The small one resembled a goblin with dark green skin, a blue tunic, a shock of yellow hair and a thick wooden club. The giant resembled an Ankylosaurus with a gleaming gold shell, numerous spikes, manacles on his four ankles and a giant mace at the end of his tail.

"Human," yelled the Ankylomon, "fight me!"

Aj was already at his feet when the two digimon stormed into the camp.Labramon and Piyomon were also awaked as they quickly moved to Aj's side.The human,not in his cloak at the moment,had his face in full view of the two digimon as he looked at them with his golden colored eyes.

"What the heck is this about?",Labramon stated as he glared at the digimon as he stood there,ready to attack if needed.Piyomon floated in the air as she looked at them with a serious expression and was ready for combat as well.Aj smirked as he looked at Labramon,and then at the Ankylomon."Is there a reason as to why?",the boy asked as he looked at the digimon without fear..

"Umm," Ankylomon seemed stumped by the simple question, "um, why am I fighting again elder?"

The Shamamon sighed and said, "you're fighting him to test him, and I'm helping to keep it fair."

Ankylomon nodded and said, "I'm fighting to test you, and Elder will help to keep it fair."

Ankylomon got into a stance and stared down Labramon, while Shamamon raised his club and looked up at Piyomon.

Labramon blinked as he looked at Ankylomon with a blank expression,So we heard...Aj,what do we do?",Labramon asked as he looked at his tamer and then at Piyomon,who was starting down at Shamamon as she landed to the ground.

Aj did not know why,but he nodded towards his two partners,"well,if he wants to test us by battling,I guess we have no reason not to,we accept your challange Ankylomon,Labramon,Piyomon..go for it..",he said with a calm tone of voice as he watched both his digimon charge forwards into battle.

Labramon quickly began to glow as he changed into Seasarmon and smirked as he looked up at the larger digimon."Just so that we can keep this battle fair..",the champion digimon said as looked at the other digimon.

Piyomon looked at the Shamamon and looked at him with a serious expression."Im ready when you are..",she stated as she waited for him the make the first move.

Aj just watched and waited,this was a test..so he would not interfer with it in anyway..so his digimon would not have the help of his cards."Lets see exactly why he wanted to fight against my partners and I anyway..",he thought to himself as he waited for the battle to begin..

Shamamon danced wildly as he peeked into the future. The ogre digimon then pointed his club at Piyomon and shouted, "Mad Twist!" a spiral of purple energy shot out towards the pink bird.

Ankylomon glared at Seasarmon for a moment before suddenly lashing out with his tail mace at a speed one might expect of the armored saurian.

Piyomon saw this attack and quickly countered it with Magical fire.This casted a green spiral of flames to collide with the mad twist attack.The pink bird then flew into the air and attack with another Magical fire attack from above towards the Shamamon.

Seasarmon smirked as he quickly jumped back,avoid the attack as he unleashed a light beam attack called Sekkentu towards the Ankylomon at full speed.

Shamamon simply jumped aside. He danced a little more than threw his club at Piyomon as he yelled, "Dancing Bone!"

The light beam colided with Ankylomon's armor, but failed to pester him too much. He jumped into the Air and came back down towards Seasarmon, his 'Megaton Press' attack.

Piyomon was so surprised by this,that she was smacked in the face by the bone club and was sent flying back into the air.When she regained her balance,she quickly dived towards the Shamamon at full speed,but then spun off to the left of the digimon and attacked with her talons.

Seasarmon was able to avoid getting crushed by the attack,but the vibration from the digimon's weight,caused him to be blown back alittle."Wow,how much do you weight!?",the champion stated as he attacked with another Sekkentu light beam attack from his horn..

The talons scratched Shamamon skin, he danced away from them and caught his club. He quickly fired off another 'Mad Twist' attack.

Ankylomon looked up as though he were thinking, the light beam hit him, he winced a little but still said, "about two thousand pounds I think."

Piyomon quickly took to the sky once more to avoid the Mad twist as she then fired down another Magical Fire attack from above as she thought to herself."This digimon is really strong,I just hope that Seasarmon is doing well as well.."

Seasarmon looked at the digimon and laughed,"Wow,your big and your strong,talk about a winning combination,this battle is starting to get interesting..",the champion digimon stated as he charged towards Ankylomon and then jumped over his head as he attacked from above with Sekkentu..

The attack hit Shamamon in his back, due to an unfortunate turn in his dance. He cursed his lack of foresight and used a 'dancing bone' attack.

Ankylomon smiled at the compliment. As Seasarmon flew over him he chuckled, "my back is the worst place to attack me brother. You have to hit me where my armor is thinner, not thicker."

Piyomon expected the digimon to use that attack again and quickly slapped the bone with her wing as she dived down towards the Shamamon using a Sky dive attack.

Seasarmon smirked after he landed back into the ground and looked at the armor digimon and laughed."You definatly are someone I can spar with,but probably wasn't the best idea to tell me about where to hit you..",he stated as he used Sekkentu towards the digimon's feet to try to knock him off balance as he charged towards him in attempt to ram onto his back..

Shamamon was hit by the sharp beak and fell on his rear. He picked himself up and ran to get his club quickly.

Ankylomon's leg was knocked out from under his heavy body, causing him to fall flat on his belly. He wouldn't let Seasarmon take advantage of the opening though. He swung his tail around rapidly to make it dificult for Seasarmon to approach without getting hit.

Piyomon then landed onto the ground and quickly flipped over as she went into a cartwheel as she attempted to knock the Shamamon down before he was able to reach his club.

Seasarmon was hit by the attack and was sent back a way by the attack.He growled as he attacked the digimon from where he was with a Tiddlaya attack,sending holy light arrows towards the Anytlomon.

Aj continued to watch this and was quite impressed.His partners,though as silly as they were,seemed to be actually showing everything they had in each of their battles.He began to wonder if his harsh treatment was ever need,why did he become harsh in the first place?The boy frowned as he could not remember when he had become so cold hearted,maybe it was another mystery that would only be solved by reclaiming his memory.But for now,he would watch his partners spar with the other digimon...

Shamamon nimbly jumped to the side and punched at Piyomon as she passed. He returned his run toward his club.

The light arrows rained down upon Ankylomon, taking chip after chip out of his health as he struggled to get back onto his feet. "You're a fine warrior brother," Ankylomon said with a proud voice. He turned quickly and jumped at Seasarmon with another 'Megaton Press.'

Piyomon landed onto the ground and slowly rose to her feet as she charged after the digimon as she attacked with Magical Fire from behind him.

Seasarmon dodged the attack and nodded towards the digimon."Same to you pal,but only one of us can win this match..and I don't plan to lose..so you ready to finish this?",he asked as he looked at the other champion with a smirk.He was actually having fun battling this digimon,it was a challenge,and neither of them were getting angry at each other or wanted to kill each other..

Shamamon was hit in the back by the flaming attack. Another painful burn in the same spot made him second guess the wisdom of this fight. He picked himself up and danced toward his club wildly. Both making himself a harder target, and attempting to peek into the future to dodge better.

Ankylomon smirked at Seasarmon, "of coarse I'm ready for this, but elder has trained me well. I plan to win." He drummed his front feet on the ground rapidly, causing pillars of earth to shoot up from below Seasarmon. He had waited till now to use his 'Rythmic knock' attack as part of a strategy.

Piyomon watch this and blinked in confusion."What is he doing?",she asked herself and then attacked with another Magical Fire attack towards the dancing digimon.

Seasarmon was surprised by this attack and was smacked in the face by the rocks as they shot up from under him."Nice trick,but..I was trained by Aj,and I have a few moves of my own..",he stated as he charged towards him and then attacked with another Sekkentu attack as he then moved to the side of the Antylomon.He then attacked with Tiddalaya as he passed by the digimon.

Shamamon danced out of the way of the 'Magic Fire,' showing every sign of knowing it was coming. He finally reached his fallen club and shot another 'Mad Twist' at the bird. He wasn't quite done, but his energy was running low.

Ankylomon sidestepped the 'Sekketsu,' but was hammered down upon by 'Tiida lya.' With determinatin in his heart, he pounded down on the ground, another 'Rythmic Knock.' The pillars of rock were his last hope as he too was getting tired.

Piyomon quickly took iff into the sky,barely avoiding the Mad Twist attack.She was starting to slow down,but she would not let herself give up.She quickly to upwards into the sky and then came charging down at full speed.As she came down,she used Maical Fire towards the Shamamon,but as it went soaring down towards him,she quickly sent her wings to the side of her body as she went throug the spiral of fire and attempted to attack with a Sky dive,so if she missed,hopefully the flame attack would not.


Seasarmon,was also getting tried,but he was determined as well to win this battle.He quickly avoid the rock pillar before it struck him from underneath and attacked with another Sekkentu attack direct towards the Antylomon's face.

The Shamamon known to the world as 'elder' was hit by the two attack and collapsed to the ground. "You've won bird," he said simply.

Ankylomon took the hit to his face and glowed brilliantly as he shrunk into a smaller version of himself with out the spikes. The Armadimon yawned loudly and said, "good work brother, you three have passed our test."

Armadimon waddled over to Shamamon, "goodbye elder."

Elder nodded, "I hope to see you again sometime." The Shamamon glowed brilliantly, but his change was a growth. In moments there stood a large monkey wearing a mask that covered his face and holding a giant boomerang. Sepikmon took off into the woods to seek another way to help the digital world's future.

Armadimon turned towards A.J. and rushed at him, emiting happiness. He stopped at the tamer's feet. "Howdy," he yelled, "you passed the test so you get to be my tamer!"

Seasarmon reverted back into a Labramon and looked at the Armadilomon with a blank expression."What,how did this happened,when did this happen,Im completely lost..",the dog stated as he looked at Piyomon,who only giggled as she looked at the new digimon walk over to Aj.

Aj looked at the rookie and smirked as he kneeled down,"somehow,I knew that was what this was all about,maybe it was just me guessing but..I just knew that it was because you were looking for a tamer..",he said as he patted him on the head and laughed."Welcome aboard Armadilomon,we're happy to have you.."Aj then looked at the Shamamon and bowed respectfully towards him,"I will look after him with my life.."

Labramon noticed that Aj was happy,it was as if he was coming back to his old self,little by little,which was great.He then looked over at the Armadilomon and grinned as he rushed over to him,sticking out his paw."Welcome to the team pal,glad to have you a a team mate than a sparring mate,your really tough.."
