Title: New Arrival
Summon - December 8, 2011 12:51 AM (GMT)
Matthew Ward woke up feeling the warm light still on his skin. His eyes opened slowly as the sun’s light washed over his skin from above. The Sun!? His senses suddenly snapped awake at the realization he was no longer in his room. While still lying on the ground, he swept his arms out feeling the grass brush rough against his hands. Yep, I am definitely outside, but how and, probably more important, where? One more thing caught his attention; he felt a heavy band was attached to his wrist…
*THUD*
Something bounced firmly on to Ward’s stomach causing him to lurched upright, and his hands quickly wrapped around the round object. He looked down a saw a large egg like object in his lap. Matthew looked around to see where it came from, when it started to glow a bright white just like his computer screen previously. “Oh not again!” he thought. But this time the light faded quickly, and in the place of the egg a small, black, round orb was sitting in his lap. Matt lifted it up to his eyes to examine the orb. Then it suddenly turned around and Matt’s gaze met Botamon’s yellows eyes.
“Gahh!!” Matthew shouted as he accidentally tossed Botamon away from him. Botamon hopped back in front of Matthew and gave out a muffled sound. Matthew would have considered it to be a growl if not for how pathetic it sounded. Matthew bent forward to once again meet Botamon’s eyes.
“Ha, I am sorry. I probably shouldn’t have been that easily startled,” Matthew said the tiny creature. “Crazy… Yep, I have definitely gone crazy. Seeing things, talking to odd creatures… Not good.” Matthew looked down to shake his head, but then Botamon made a chirp and bounced into the air connecting with Matthew’s forehead. The little creature was very soft and the feeling of the creature bouncing off his forehead made Matthew chuckle. “Alright, I won’t talk like that anymore. I guess I probably should be looking for some clue as to where we are.” Botamon chirped again and bounce at Matthew, but this time landed on Matthew’s shoulder.
Matthew stood up to look for any sign of where to go and sighed. He didn’t have a clue of what a clue would look like. Matthew smiled and started to pet Botamon. Botamon leaned forward and nudged Matthew’s wrist, which happened to have a watch like device strapped to it. So that’s what I felt earlier.* Botamon continued to lean forward and touched the device. The device and Botamon started to glow and where Botamon had been was now a large pink creature that didn’t quite fit on his shoulder, causing Matthew to stubble backwards and fall to the ground. The pink creature was laughing as it fell into Matthew’s lap and turned to stare at him with a wide smile.
“Sorry about that,” the creature said while laughing, “I guess it was my turn to toss you to the ground, Ha Ah!”
Matthew couldn’t help but to laugh with the creature.
“I am Koromon and it is nice to meet you,” the creature said.
“My name is Matthew. It is an honor.” Ward said with a small nod forward, which Koromon to as an opportunity to bounce forward meet once again with Matthew’s forehead. Confirming once again to Matthew this was still the creature that just moments ago was in an egg.
The two laughed for a bit, and when they had calmed down, Matthew stood back up this time carrying Koromon in one arm, and returned to look at the device which had been strapped to his wrist. Almost as soon as his eyes saw the face of the device, it started blinking with a small dot at the top seeming to indicate he should proceed forward, so he did.

The rustling of grass and rattling of leaves would give away the restlessness of the forest floor at any given time. The forest itself was teeming with all kinds of life that call this habitat their home. But what kind of life exactly was yet to be seen? No one ever said it would be of friend or foe either...
Paying attention to the newcomer to the forest floor, a pair of eyes watched the boy and his little ball of energetic cuteness as he seemed focused on some kind of beeping device strapped to his wrist. Interesting beeping...shiny looking thingy... He looks like fun too!
All at once, something leaped out from the forest foliage. It made a dash for, not the human surprisingly enough, but for the Koromon instead. A strange, yet oddly familiar sound came from the creature as it glomped the baby digimon. Soft purring made it obvious that the thing wasn't in them mood to fight, but rather to get some amusement out of playing with a living ball of cute.
The Mikemon purred and gently pawed at the boy's partner, not putting much effort in actually scratching or anything. She laid on her back and played with him like a ball or a toy. "Fun thing!" She meowed and curled a calico tail around the Koromon.

Koromon didn’t have any time to think. One minute he was snug under Matthew’s arm, and the next thing he knew, he was being flipped and rolled around by another digimon. “Help!” Koromon shouted. Surprised and, by this moment, dizzy, Koromon sent out a stream of bubbles to startle this new character, but the attack, as uncoordinated as it was and with the help of being rolled about by the attacker, resulted in a shower of bubbles covering the area, none which hit the intended target.
Any third party watching these events would probably describe it with one word, hilarious. The calico digimon tossed poor Koromon around with such grace, while Koromon’s ribbon ears trailed behind each movement, it is doubtful there was a better image of a cat with a ball of string, at least in the digital world. Finally to top it off, Koromon’s bubble display rained down with almost movie like quality around Mikemon.
Unfortunately, Matthew was not able to appreciate this scene. All Matthew had witnessed was a wild creature snatch up his new companion, who, on top only hatching maybe twenty minutes ago, Matthew considered to be under his care. Now, it looked like this creature had knocked the stuffing out of poor Koromon, (granted it was a lot of stuffing, but still). Matthew’s one thought was to get Koromon out of there, but as Matthew tried dive at Koromon, Koromon was rolled at him and the bubble attack hit Matthew square in the face. As a result, Matthew’s dive fell short. Angry, Matthew shouted at Koromon to shut his mouth. Then, it happened. Koromon stopped his bubble attack and at that moment Koromon shifted just right for part of the calico tail, which was wrapped around him, to slip into his mouth, and Koromon snapped his mouth shut…
Koromon’s eyes, even as big as they are, widened noticeably, staring straight at Matthew for a brief moment. Matthew saw it all, and the look Koromon gave and noting the size of Koromon’s teeth, which raised out of his mouth, confirmed this wasn’t going to be any better.

The feline's moment of innocent fun came to an abrupt end unfortunately. The ball of cute was still a living, breathing digimon. As such, any normal digimon would consider her act as an attack and it was no surprise that the Koromon saw it that way. The cat seemed to pout a bit at the human who was trying to interfere in her fun.
That was, until she felt something clamp over her tail with a sharp snap. Her eyes widened suddenly as she turned to face what had captured her tail. When she saw it was the Koromon she was playing with moments ago, she acted accordingly...
...By letting out a long wail as she ran around trying to get the baby to let go of her tail In this case, she dragged the poor thing with her as she ran around, sometimes going through a bush or two in the hopes of getting it to let go of her!

Matthew tried to chase after Mikemon, but wasn’t able to keep up. Koromon was bounced, flipped, and dragged as he held on to Mikemon’s tail. After the last bush, Koromon finally let go and was flung into the air. Matthew caught Koromon and pulled him in, but the force knocked him over. For the third time that day, Matthew was laying on the ground with Koromon perched on his stomach.
Koromon, though dizzy and a bit bruised from the bushes, turned to face Matthew and started to laugh. “We always end up here,” Koromon said with a smile. Matthew sat up and looked over Koromon, but didn’t see anything thing wrong with him. Matthew smiled back and raised Koromon so they could touch foreheads. Then, he placed Koromon next to him on the ground and got on his knees to look at the other creature. The watch once again went off but this time it spoke, “Mikemon, a playful cat-like Beast Digimon. Normally very calm and docile, but don’t be caught in its sharp Neko Claw attack.” Koromon popped forward with a wide smile, “Sorry about that Mikemon, I didn’t know it was you. I hope your tail is okay,” while extending an ear in a motion to shake Mikemon’s paw.
Matthew looked over at Koromon’s friendly gesture, and was a bit confused. Considering Koromon had only been alive for as long as Matthew had known him, how could Koromon act so familiar with this new creature, but Matthew, since it hadn’t really meant to harm Koromon and he hadn't understood anything about this place up to this point, decided to follow Koromon’s lead. Matthew bowed forward, “Please excuse our actions. We didn’t know you were here to just play. I guess we both got more than we bargained for.” Matthew leaned over to Koromon and whispered, “I swear I am normally better with first impressions.”

Azreal heard the sound of a commotion off in the distance. He had nothing better to do so he decided to go investigate what was going on. He flew up to a tree overlooking the scene that was unfolding. There was a tamer and two others a Mikemon and a Koromon. It looked like the digimon were having fun and the tamer had a slightly confused look. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so he decided to flutter down and greet them.
“Hello my name is Azreal. Nice to meet ya.” The Pico Devimon said fluttering in the air above them. He then took a spot on a nearby branch and waited for them to introduce themselves. He shifted a couple of times and finally settled down watching the Mikemon with his blue eyes not wanting to be a play toy.
Bunko - December 9, 2011 05:53 AM (GMT)
The boy's brow furrowed, the sun was late and the moon was far too bright. Opening a singular eye he internally heaved a sigh of relief, so the moon hadn't skipped phases. Whether this conundrum was good or bad... well that was yet to be seen. True he wasn't insane in terms of the night's cycle but what was a little mix up compared to delusions of a literal paradise? He pouted, he didn't care to see so much green in one designated place. If it hadn't been for it's cumbersomeness foliage cooling the forest floor he wouldn't have incorrectly passed off the possibility of it being day either.
Wracking his brain he vaguely remembered falling asleep with the view of a long since dried river being the last thing he laid eyes on it. This place was far too... untamed to be heaven so although he was leaning towards the idea he wouldn't write himself off as deceased just yet. Besides, the Dingo's had better things to dine on than his chewy hide. It was a wet season if there ever were one in Arizona though for others it amounted to no more than a few spring showers. In any case that meant that food was plentiful all around and that his being on the menu be ludicrous if not some serious bad luck.
Subconsciously scratching his wrist he winched when his feeble human nail chipped on something plastic. Examining the extremity he further pouted was this some sort of tracking device? he supposed that all criminal organizations and slave trades alike could use young bloods. After tirelessly trying to remove the offending object he shook his arm so his sleeve gravitated back over the obscene gauntlet. What anyone would want with him was mystery. Not even an intriguing one because the muggy air was already making him wish he had slept in the hammock on the porch of his uncles small flat.
When he sat he pinched the fabric of his lavender shirt and gave it a good yank or two. He hoped to cool himself though who was he kidding. Dry heat he could handle, but this? He'd prefer riding out a sand storm. Seeking a means of rejuvenation his fingers grazed a smooth surface. Giving it a quick once over he gathered that it was an egg... probably, that or one of those chocolates you found in the grocery store next to the greeting cards during Easter. It was mostly the color of well an egg, a chicken's to be exact, however the peculiar purple marking of a half circle with a dot in its mouth with square-cut wings made him feel that this was something alien. Great so he was teetering on the chances that he was a participant in a forced on series of events.
Though his mind raced with the improbability of what it may or may not the young man failed to notice it take on an ethereal property as it glowed a disturbing inky black. Due to being fondled by the desert's sun for years his eyes were not quite so sensitive as the average Joe's.
When a soot-like mass plopped itself into his lap he grimaced and so it has begun Not even the nearby rustling and voices nearby eased his frazzled mind. It was probably a cruel and twisted trickery anyway.
The Chameleon - December 9, 2011 06:09 AM (GMT)
She danced lightly on dainty feet. Her form was far more sturdy since she left the other two behind and now she definitely had bright pink hair and lime green eyes. Her clothing consisted of blue jean, cut off shorts, knee long, rainbow colored, striped stockings, huge clunky brown boots, and a baggy tie dye shirt that hung off her shoulders. She was surprisingly graceful.
She stopped though, brain still short circuiting and stared at a young man. The Chameleon twisted her head to the side in a way though should have broken her neck before drifting up to him. "Hai,"she said. "What's my name? Give me a name... give that thing a name too."
She pointed at the sooty black mass in his lap. "I gave Alvaro his name... so he gave me names,"she said, again tilting her head in that unnatural way. This time it was in the opposite direction. She splayed her dainty hands out from her hips and smiled.
"You have a name right?"
Behind her a tree turned into a giant buttercup.

Summon - December 12, 2011 05:31 PM (GMT)
Matthew looked up from where he sat and saw a bat like creature introducing himself. I am not going to get to get used to this place, Matthew thought, But the creatures seem friendly.
“Greetings Azreal, I am Matthew and this is Koromon.” Matthew turned back to Mikemon. “I am again sorry about your tail. Would either of you know where we are or why?”
*Meerruk* Matthew looked over to Koromon. “And I guess where Koromon and I could get a bite to eat?”
Aqua-Chan - December 14, 2011 05:51 AM (GMT)
The Mikemon stopped running around long enough to take stock and examine her poor tail. She took a moment to lick it, trying to flatten the ruffled fur at her tail tip. She had to make it look decent again.
But soon, her attention became diverted to something that was sitting in the trees just above the little group. Feline eyes became transfixed on the black thing sitting on the branch, suddenly she felt the urge to try and knock it down! Mikemon's tail wagged a little as she tried to swat at the Pico Devimon with a paw, but lacking the height necessary to really pose a threat.
Matthew got her attention soon as he spoke to her, apologizing for her tail. The cat gave a smile as she purred softly and rubbed her body against his legs. "You;re in the Digital World, silly human~" she answered him, sitting down on her haunches to lick herself with a paw.
Donthor - December 14, 2011 02:46 PM (GMT)
Mikemon's tail wagged a little as she tried to swat at the Pico Devimon with a paw, but lacking the height necessary to really pose a threat. Azreal glared at her and thought I knew you were going to do that. He listend to Matthew’s questions and waited to see what Mikemon would say before saying anything.
“Well Matthew and Koromon, as Mikemon said you are in the digital world. As where you can get something to eat that depends on what you eat.” Azreal said moving up to a slightly higher branch. Mikemon didn’t reach him the first time but that didn’t mean she would miss the second time.
