Title: The Meeting of the Brave and the Few
Zeal - June 29, 2011 09:21 PM (GMT)
A message flashed across all known and possible Light Tamer's d-ban; every single one said the same thing.
| CODE |
Tamers,
Meet at the Ocean ASAP; we must meet to better organize ourselves. |
---
Zeal shifted slightly, his red eyes watching the horizon with apt attention. He'd opted for his child form for this meeting; the grains of sand would cause problems if they got in his metallic joints. He shifted from one large, clawed paw to the other, antsy. Even his lieutenants had yet to show their faces.
He turned and faced the vastness that was the great blue ocean and breathed in the brisk sea air. It would only be a short time before they were all swaddled at the bottom of it, the various dinghies anchored just off short to take them out to open water... and then down to Atlantis in all its vast wonder.
He only hoped that everyone would go well...

The message had been sent out, now it was a matter of waiting to see who would be the first to arrive on the scene. It mattered greatly to see if anyone would answer the call and just who would come. Kiri herself came out to see the arriving young humans as they made their way to the shoreline.
"I hope the humans heed the call and come." The Lilymon felt a gentle, warm summer breeze rush past her as the sun began to set ever so slowly before her. Only adding to the tropical atmosphere that the beach was providing.
Sure enough, the pair of digimon could hear voices echoing out overhead. "What a strange message. Asking tamers to come to the ocean. How can we even trust it's not a trap?"
"Riku does have a point. This could be a trap set for us." A gentle female's voice interjected.
"I'm doubtful of that Tikal." replied a masculine voice different from the first. "It's impossible for anyone to send such messages via the D-Ban outside other tamers."
"Whatever the reason is, we need to be careful. I don't want us to walk into another trap like at the Swamplands." Their tamer didn't want a repeat of that terrible incident to happen once again. They lost a dear friend because of that...
Her thoughts seemed to detract from her train of thought when her group finally reached the opening of the shoreline. She was expecting to at least see another tamer or two to have arrived already, probably wondering why they got the message and why they were here. But instead, they saw a tall flower fairy and a small canine beside her.
"Welcome Light Tamer." Kiri began, smiling at the young girl and her team of three partners. "I am Kiri, and this is Zeal. We were the ones who have summoned you and many others like you to this place."
"Wait, you were the ones who summoned us?" The Impmon pointed at the pair that stood before them, getting a nod out of the fairy as a response. "Wait, you mentioned Light Tamers. You knew Lexi was a Light Tamer?" Tikal asked.
"Yes, in fact Zeyphr was likely the one who dubbed your tamer as such. She tends to do much of seeking worthy tamers to be the heroes of light for our world." Kiri explained.

Tarukae wasn't aligned with Insomnia or Zeal, but he had heard about a meeting of the Light Tamers so he decided to pretend to be a Light Tamer so he could get some information about them. Tarukae had talked to Danu and Fallen before he came. He told Fallen to keep his mouth shut so he wouldn't say anything that would get them in trouble. Fallen had the tendency to speak before thinking. He told the same to Danu, but he really didn't worry about him talking.
"Hmm, so this is the meeting? I think we might be some of the first people here," Tarukae said as he looked around. He noticed some digimon and one other Tamer there.
Zander Steele - June 30, 2011 05:34 PM (GMT)
Little boats? Tamers showing up at the same place? Something was definitely going on here. Rayner and his two partners had been only marginally enjoying their beach stroll anyways when two Tamers and their partners had showed up through the trees separating the Trailmon station and the beach. Walking forward, the bright blue eyes picked up on the situation. Was it a meeting of some sort? Coming closer, without halterign one single step, he noticed a duo of other Digimon, an aura of power and respect coming from one, a sweet, perhaps kindness from the other.
Though, it could have just been a private beach party or something, Rayner rather thought it wouldn't be at an easily accessible beach otherwise. So, he walked up to where the Lilymon, as confirmed on his Digivice, was speaking to the female Tamer, "Err... excuse me.. I hope we're not intruding, but is this supposed to be a party?" Rayner seemed oblivious, but not afraid or unsure. Quite the opposite, he stared at Zeal without an inch of hesitation, feeling that he should probably be respectful, but he didn't even know his name, havign missed the introduction Lexi recieved just before.
(I'd like to note that Rayner isn't a Light Tamer, not even a possibility at this point. So, he didn't recieve the message)
Inarx - June 30, 2011 07:30 PM (GMT)
"Ough... Why is it that we are going to the ocean again Veebe?" Mia asked, being slightly tired, since her little blue partner had just woken her up from her nap, just to pull her out towards the ocean.
"Er... I don't really under stand it, but this message flashed on your d-ban while you were sleeping... Said we had to come ASAP" The little blue lizard digimon said. It was true, he barely understood it himself...
| QUOTE |
30 minutes earlier: Veebe was looking out the window in his and Mia's apartment, hearing Mia's gently snore as he watched all the houses, stores, and digimon that were out on the streets of Digital City. Though, suddenly something disturbed the silence in the apartment, a low beeping from Mia's wrist. "Eh Mia... Mia!" Veebe said, trying to wake up his human partner, but it was no use. Instead he took at closer look at her wrist. It was the d-ban, and there was some kind of message... |
"The message was something like, 'Tamers, meet at the ocean ASAP; we must meet to better organize ourselves.' But I'm not really sure..." Veebe explained, finally arriving at the ocean. Spotting a small group of human and digimon.
"You know... It's probably just some joke..." Mia mumbled, not seeing the group yet. "Can't we just go back home so that I can continue my nap?" She asked, somehow being slightly irritated.
Veebe sweatdropped, scratching behind his back. She is always like this when she's tired a voice said in his head. "Look there Mia, maybe they got the message too" Veebe once again took Mia's hand, and pulled her with him, and she just followed sloppyly.
"Eh hello?" Veebe said, approaching the small group, who seemed to be formed around a lilymon. "We got this weird message... Any of you know about it?" Veebe asked, Mia still just standing a little behind him, her eyes only half open.
Otterly Lost - July 1, 2011 05:14 PM (GMT)
"Meet ASAP, hmm?"
Barty continued to eye his d-ban with quiet intention, reading and rereading the short message over and over again. His partners seemed less interest in it and more interested in the small gathering of humans that had already beat them there. Sweeney had already set his eyes on the slim, beautiful feline and was already slinking forward for the kill.
Nymph followed him, ready to bash him into the dirt if he tried anything too fresh with her paler cousin. Her black fur gleamed in the beach's bright sun, blue highlights bouncing off the glossy coat. "Leave her alone,"the Black Tailmon growled lowly, her fur bristling sharply. Sweeney bared his teeth in a sinister grin.
"Jealous, Moggy?"
"No. Why would I be?"
"Well... she is a prettier feline."
They haulted and green met red in a combative glare. "Jackass,"she growled. "I don't see it." She stormed past him, making a point to shove him over as she went. Sweeney grunted and struggled back to his feet, giving Nymph a leering grin.
Barty watched their actions from far behind, shaking his head. He lowered his d-ban arm and began the trudge down the beach, coming to stand just on the outside of the growing group. "'ello, 'ello,"he said happily. "So what's going on?"
Sweeney had already made his way over to the pure white Tailmon, standing up on his hind legs to swagger. "'ello there,"he purred to her, tail twirling. "And what might your name be?"
He could feel Nymph's eyes on him and he repressed a grin.

(For the record this takes place after Sean's crest venture for him chronologically XD; i did get this oked)
The seas were unusually calm this day as the boat named Thessina sailed near the shore to deposit its passengers. The Agumon in charge of the small sailboat kept a constant watch on the horizon as he sailed. Pirates, storms, merchant ships who tried to capture you for profit; he'd seen it all out here. Still, even this adventure was one of those he'd have to classify as strange. The boy he was transporting had accomplished much, and even grown stronger than before he embarked, which he as captain respected.
He watched the boy out of the corner of his eye, the long haired youth focusing more on the encroaching seashore than much else. He stole a glance every now and then, probably to check on his gommamon friend who was swimming alongside the boat. The agumon gave a snort, smiling. That little guy’s spirit had seemed endless during the voyage. But it was expected, the little fellow had told him that he hadn't been around water in a long time. It was only natural that he should be happy about swimming in the ocean.
Speaking of that gommamon, he was currently swimming alongside the boat, watching his tamer, trying to contemplate what might be going on in his head. This last adventure had put an enormous strain on the boy, pushing him to his limits. What’s more, he had sworn a kind of oath against followers of insomnia, saying he would oppose them wherever they might stand. The shore approached fast as he thought about these things, wondering if Sean was going to be ok...
In truth he was for the most part, coming to terms with much of what had happened to him during his little trip, the power he now had obtained, as well as the words of the man in the black robe. He had told his partners about this last part, and both seemed to have let him have some room to think, which he appreciated. Still, the terriermon's presence nearby was apparent, as of late the small digimon seemed more observant of him lately, which puzzled the boy.
Regardless, as the approaching shore became ever closer, he opted to move on from these matters for now. There would be time to think about these matters later, for now; they should be focused on getting home.
When the small boat was close enough to shore, Sean looked back at the captain and nodded. "Thank ye sire, I do appreciate your kindness. This is our stop, may the winds be fair for ye in your journeys" he said, smiling at the agumon and nodding at the terriermon, motioning for him to come along.
Arrow quickly obliged, hopping onto the boys shoulder and waving one of his ears at the captain as Sean jumped off the boat, landing with a squelch onto the shoreline. It was soon after that Tyerel joined them, swimming up to the shore, waving back one last time at the captain before they all started walking up the shore.
"I'm sure glad were back on the mainland. I can't wait to get back to the apartment, relax, eat a good meal, take a bath; all that good stuff" Tyerel started, shuffling along the sand on one side of his tamer (closest to the ocean) smiling up at him. "Don't get me wrong, the trip was fun and all, but death defying acts and fighting sorta leave a guy to want a little R&R dontcha think?" he said, winking at Sean, drawing a chuckle from him.
Arrow snorted. "Please, if there’s one thing you don't need it’s a bath, you were swimming in the ocean most of the time, you’re probably cleaner than me and Sean combined" he said, quirking his eyes at the seal.
"Ahem, who did most of the fighting? Who evolved to perfect? Who did most of the hard work?" Tyerel said, holding a fin up to his ear to hear the answer better.
"Let’s see~ you, you, and Sean" Arrow answered, smirking at the little seal watching him frown comically and blow a raspberry at him. "Still, congrats on the evolving thing, I bet mine will be more impressive though* he said, dodging a splash of water from Tyerel.
Sean laughed at the two. They were always at this, like true brothers they were. As he laughed, his eyes wandered a little further up the beach, seeing a large group of humans and digimon. Immediately, his curiosity was aroused. And it seemed that his partners had seen it too, for their little game had stopped and they both looked ahead.
"Wonder what’s up" Arrow commented, staring at the group ahead.
"Think we should check it out?" Tyerel asked, looking at Sean for an answer.
"Aye" the boy replied, nodding, and walking up to the group, taking his time as to not seem like he was coming at them aggressively. Immediately he spotted familiar faces, friends and foes alike, even some faces he had not yet seen. "Hello there" he said, speaking aloud to the face he knew, even the ones he didn't. "What’s all this about then?"
Tyerel meanwhile, had sauntered up to some of the digimon he knew from training matches. "Hello there" he said, gravitating towards Lexi's group, but waving to most he knew, even Tarukae's lot.
Arrow stayed by his tamer, not out of shyness, but out of curiosity. His eyes were fixed on the gabumon facing the sea, observing him, watching, and getting a very strange feeling from him. Who was he?
Fenrir - July 2, 2011 07:55 PM (GMT)
[This is set a little bit into the future for Riley.]
“Do you think we’ll find Baren here?”
It was a beautiful day for flying. The sky was clear and winds had dwindled to a soft breeze that refreshed Riley as he soared over the endless blue ocean. It was quite hot outside at the moment, but as they dipped closer toward the ocean the cooler it got. Riley loved when Tas hovered over the ocean, especially when the he let the tip of his tail fall into the water, sending splashes of cool water up that trickled down Riley’s back. Flying with a dragon was every child’s fantasy, and Riley did his best to never take the great and surreal moments of the digital world for granted.
It was hard to stay positive lately, though. For the past week Riley and Tas had been tracing their enemies tracks in search of their kidnapped friend. Their search came with little success and soon they had no hints or traces of where to look. It was only a coincidence that he received a message at that time. Tas feared for a trap and wished to continue their search but Riley made the final decision to leave. They both agreed, however, to have Tas in his strongest form when they arrived just in case the message was a hoax by Insomnia.
“No,” Riley said after a moment. His response drew a somewhat surprised grumble from Tas. “But look, over there.” He pointed to the mass of people forming on the ocean shore.
Tas came to a stop around the crowd of tamers and with one last flap of his long wings he landed. Riley quickly slid off his partner’s neck into the warm sand of the ocean. He pulled up his slim navy jeans to his knees and fixed the collar of his shirt while he scanned the group. He expected at least one or maybe two familiar faces, but it had been so long since he had seen anyone he either couldn’t remember or didn’t know anyone here. It was still always great to see other humans. Too much traveling, he thought to himself. “I think it’s safe,” Riley told Tas, patting him on his neck before walking to the group.
“If you say so,” Tas grumbled. White light concealed the digimon and his wings disappeared, his tail shrank, and his horns grew smaller. He was now as tall as Riley’s waist but he was much thinner. When the light vanished the V-mon followed Riley impatiently.
“Hey guys,” Riley said to no one in particular. He absentmindedly held the straps of his backpack, curious to find out the reason they were all here.
Redtide - July 3, 2011 03:45 AM (GMT)
He was here alone, for the creatures following him did not claim or swear allegiance to either faction. Yet, he had decided to come against better judgment; despite his logic telling him that aligning himself with either party, light or dark was unwise, he did not feel like sitting on the fence. He was in the digital world, and he damn well was going to do something. Change himself, change the world, change something. Anything. The call to arms was something completely new to the young man. He had only heard of Zeal's message on the streets as he was making his way home to the apartments after the encounter with Mia.
Was this his destiny? ... maybe.
"This is something totally new ..." Even though he was genetically engineered to excel at most things and challenges thrown his way, he was severely hampered in his ability to digest concepts like light and darkness and what they represented. His thoughts had been challenged more than a few times in the short amount of time that he was here. Even his sister ... Diedrika ... he held back a growl and took a shaking step forth.

(And this will take place after my thread where Brett will be getting his Digi-egg)
When he got the message on his D-Ban, Brett at first ignored it, figuring that it wasn't for him. After all, he wasn't a Light Tamer was he? "Hey, Luke, what's a Light Tamer?" And that's when he found out how anybody that was fighting for the cause against Insomnia was a Light Tamer. Well, if they were a human with a Digimon partner then that's what they were. But Brett was still a little unsure, as even though he was a human, and Luke was his partner, he didn't really feel that he was on that cause. In all honesty, he was just scare of the crazy woman who seemed to want to capture him, or have him dead. Or maybe she wanted both? God, could she raise the dead and make them her zombie slaves?!
Once he had thought about it for a little while, Brett finally told Luke about the message, and the amphibian Digimon said exactly what he had been expecting. "Well then we better get moving! You're a Light Tamer, even if you don't really know it! Just wait until you finally get to hear from some of our leaders. I know that you haven't had a chance, what with us getting captured and stuff. But after this, you'll realize it." He was obviously excited, and Brett couldn't help but worry that he'd end up disappointing his friend. But of course Luke didn't seem the least bit worried about such a thing.
Brett was a little worried about leaving the city, but he knew that he'd have to get over that fear eventually. It wasn't like he could just lock himself up in his apartment and never leave it or anything. Not that he had been doing that since getting back from being captured anyways. He hadn't left the city yet, though, no matter how much Luke had claimed he wanted to get out of there. Brett just couldn't bring himself to getting out of that funk of feeling like he could never be safe again. Maybe this would help him with that too.
So together they went down to the ocean, other Tamers appearing to have gotten the message as well. Which made sense, since there were probably a lot of them fighting against Insomnia. Brett just didn't know if he would really even fit in. Hell, he hadn't even actually met many of the Tamers. Just the one, Claire, who actually helped him out of the predicament in the Forest. Other than that... Brett felt alone. Maybe he'd manage to make friends out of this as well? It was something at least.
Vikemon - July 6, 2011 05:00 PM (GMT)
The vast oceans of the world were home to some of the most magnificent Digimon on the planet. The water hid so many fascinating secrets, but revealed so many truths about the danger it possesses. But it also shows its beauty as it shimmers under the afternoon sun; even more so while sparkling beneath the midnight moon.
Bakuran enjoyed it all, smiling as his transport emerged from the water. He sat in the cockpit, steering the Submarimon to the surface as they neared the beach, “Alright, my friend. Let us go ashore.”
The Elecmon opened the cockpit and stood on the seat, scanning the beach for arrivals. A small group of tamers had responded to the call, yet he hoped more would come with time. The importance of this was beyond their imagining, but Bakuran understood it all too well. He remembered a time when all the forces of light united under one banner, but times have changed. Darkness has spread unchecked, and more humans arrive everyday; bonded with Digimon companions. New wars could not be fought with old weapons. The future of the Digital World depended on these young tamers.
As the Submarimon stopped just before the beach, Bakuran leaped in to shallow water. He strode toward the group, amazed at the diverse array of humans and Digimon, but they didn’t compare to the welcomed site of an old friend, “Zeal! Is that you?”
Rushing to him, he gave his friend a tight hug and laughed, “Ha! How have you been, my old friend?”
Silvermistshadow - July 6, 2011 09:51 PM (GMT)
(Takes place after Kiwoharu's human spirit was gotten)
The message had reached Kiwoharu because he had once shown interest in joining the light tamers. He had decided to remain neutral for now after the last few months, but he would still show up to this meeting. He didn't seem particularly outgoing today, he seemed to stay at the back of the group and just watched what was happening.
Io, meanwhile, was more social, and therefore walked up to the Gabumon who was currently being hugged by an Elecmon. The identity of the Gabumon she knew, but the Elecmon she did not. She stayed six feet or so from the pair and waved to Zeal. She only knew of his appearance because of the data from the battle at the park, which gave her enough to deduce his child form, or at least several possibilities. However, the Elecmon had confirmed that she had the right Gabumon for her.
Valkyrimon - July 7, 2011 06:05 PM (GMT)
Whereas the Vikemon came up in his transport, a certain digimon came up by use of her ultimate form, erupting from the water and flying into the air. She had to land soon thereafter, for the water weighing down her feathers made it difficult for her to maintain flight. She didn't mind though, for she didn't want to fly at this point, she wanted to find zeal. She wanted to find him and thank him for finding her out there, sparing her from fading away into data...
When she had been informed of Zeal's call to arms she had instantly demanded to be released from her bed and go. Her caretakers had refused to let her go at first, so she did the only logical thing. She bolted. She wouldn't be held back by some injury hold her back from meeting up with zeal, she wouldn’t.
She soon spotted her leader in his rookie form, walking over to him, ignoring the humans that had gathered. He was the only one she saw, wanted to see right now. She smiled a bit when the Elecmon stopped to bring him into a tight hug, repressing a chuckle. When it was her turn to speak she kneeled to the Gabumon. "Thank you....for finding me, and saving me" she said, bowing her head to him.
Zeal - July 9, 2011 02:03 AM (GMT)
Zeal smiled, pleased to see the arrival of just this few tamers. He would not spend his time being disheartened by their lack of soldiers; instead, he would praise the ones that he had, eager to help them grow and prepare for what he was sure was going to be a long war. He examined each one as they appeared, the first being a young girl with three partners at her side; obviously a powerful ally lied in her. His eyes roved over before drifting away.
A young man had appeared soon after but his aura smelled foul. Zeal quickly made a mental note to have him watched closely. He smelled too much of battle to be truly trustworthy. Following after these two, the tamers came very quickly, arriving with various numbers of Digimon in all shapes, colors, and levels. One such even waved at him, to which he responded with a similar gesture of greeting. It warmed the Gabumon's heart, which despite his stern, to the point exterior, was not made of ice.
As proved by the sudden, jovial hug he received from the red furred Bakuran. He let out a bark of laughter and wrapped his own arms around the Elecmon. "Easy, old friend,"he said softly. "I'm not as spry as I once was." His red eyes glittered with a timelessness though, showing that he wasn't as old as he made himself out to be either. He released the Elecmon and instead turned his eyes to Valkyrimon, watching her bowed position.
"Rise, rise, comrade,"he said easily, motioning with his paw. "I will always be there to help those in need... particularly so friends." He turned to face the growing group and noticed the absence of Kuzuhumon. It wasn't like her to be tardy. He could only hope she wasn't in danger.
No... he must focus on the meeting. Kuzuhumon was a capable fighter. He cleared his throat. "Tamers!"he said loudly, eyes drifting over their faces. Each one bolstered a bit of pride in him. Seeing all his friends and allies here as well...
... if only he was still here... How Zeal missed him...
The feeling happiness dimmed but he didn't allow it to show on his face. Instead he focused on the job at hand. Once this was all said and done, he could deal with him.
"Tamers, we will be departing soon... Please gather together and then board the ships... my dear friend here-"he clapped a happy paw onto Bakuran's shoulder-"we'll lead us to our final destination... I am proud to see so many faces here."
((Posting order is as follows: Zeal, Aqua/Kiri, Phantom, Zander, Inarx, Otterly Lost, CelticWrath, Fenrir, Redtide, Darkslayer, Vikemon, Silvermistshadow, and Valkyrimon. Much to the Lilymon's delight, a fair group of tamers found themselves forming into a collective group on the shores before her. As mentioned before, none of these bright, young faces had been acquainted with. Nevertheless, she welcomed each and every one of them all the same as she did the first with open arms.
"Welcome all of you!" Kiri denounced in her usual jovial tone. "You have all been summoned here by request of Zeal himself. Only those of pure intent and strong heart have heeded the call. I assure you, all of your questions will be answered in due time."
She directed everyone to board the ship that had been brought curtsy of their ally Bakuran. The first tamer to come aboard the ship was the Knight and Angels tamers herself. Lexi took lead and walked toward the ship, followed closely by Spyro who stayed at her side.
Tikal felt suddenly repulsed when the likes of the Gazimon tried his hand at flirting with her. Sadly, it just came off as a very creepy pass. She openly hissed at Sweeney and rejected him by trying to bat at him with those claws of hers. A natural feline reaction to something she did not like and one Nymphy couldn't say she didn't related to.
The white Tailmon did take notice of her ebony counterpart, at least she shared the same feelings of repulse Tikal did for Sweeney. She then turned and followed her tamer onto the ship that was waiting for them.
But just as Riku was bringing up the lead and was about to join them, his tamer spotted Valkyrimon. "Valkyrimon!" Lexi waved out to the ultimate level digimon with a smile while Spyro merely offered her a deep nod. They hadn't forgotten that but was through meeting her that the girl was dubbed a Light Tamer.
"Zephyr!" Kiri turned to the winged goddess with concern filled eyes. "You know you shouldn't be up and about just yet. You need to be resting back in the city. Who knows what may happen to you if you get hurt all over again." The Lilymon said, as she did not want to go through a repeat of the events that lead up to Valkyrimon getting so badly injured in the first place.

Fallen looked angry. He didn't like following orders. Tarukae then whispered, "Just do what they say now. Its for the good of us." Tarukae then walked into the ship. Danu and Fallen followed after him. Tarukae himself didn't like following orders from this 'Zeal' fellow, but his goals required for him to listen. Tarukae was going to succeed in his goals and he would have to do anything to succeed.

OH god, there were now way too many people for comfort. Rayner backed up after being promptly ignored, likely just the overwhelming presence i nthe area now, and watched the action. Digimon, Tamers, and apparently important people. A huge creature appeared out of the sea. Rayner's Digivice was going wild with readings and descriptions!
Miuki had been quiet, but only because she wasn't used to meeting this many new people. She specifically shied away from the only person she really knew there, and it wasn't the boy Rayner was studying, the boy from the training arena. She was cautiously watching her old employer.
Ryu was the same curious little dragon he had always been, tail swaying happily as he attempted to take in everything. It was an impossible task, but he was sure he knew a few people.
Rayner was one of those people to normally introduce himself, but this time it was a little too overwhelming. His mind considered that, if this were just a beach party, it had one hell of an introduction. Then, someone began speaking. He called the humans here Tamers, not friends. That meant this was likely a business meeting, one he wasn't invited to. Still, the Digimon had addressed everyone, including himself. Well, he would go along with it for now. They had nothing else to do.
Inarx - July 16, 2011 12:08 PM (GMT)
Mia was slowly waking up, all these people and digimon coming. Was there really this many of these 'light tamers.'
Though, Mia only noticed one person, Sean. She didn't really know exactly when, but at some point, she had found a rather special interest in him.
But as soon as she heard the Lilymon talk, she changed her focus to her.
She followed down to the boats.
Meanwhile, Veebe at just been waiting for this Lilymon to begin talking, he listened carefully, and then also he followed down to the boats.

Barty had seen Sweeney getting swatted at out of the corner of his eye and smiled, containing any laughter he may have wanted to let bubble forth. Nymph was less kind, letting the gleeful mirth escape her lips in a ruckus. He turned a sneering, contemptuous glare on her before storming by, tail whipping the air.
Nymph's laughter died down and she smirked, following a few paw steps behind. They'd heard the call for them to load into the boats and now they converged into the group. Barty trailed the rear, watching everyone with insatiable curiosity. The group was quite a bit smaller than he initially thought it would be but he said nothing on it. Who was he to judge, after all?
He passed by the tall Lilymon and the squatter but more burly Gabumon before stepping, easily, into one of the boats; his longer legs allowed him to do it without too much difficult. However, he sincerely hoped that the trip wouldn't be too long; being crammed into a small boat with his legs against his chest for too long would make him infinitely more stiff.
Nymph bounded into the boat, hissing slightly at the wash of the surf as she did. Sweeney simply traipsed into the water, unconcerned with wetting his own silvery fur. He drag himself bodily into the boat and settled down. The boats themselves seemed capable of holding at least six people(counting Digimon as people). The fact that so few could fit on the tiny dhingies explained the number of them.
Celticwrath - July 22, 2011 07:09 PM (GMT)
Sean merely blinked at the boats when the gabumon gestured to them. He did say all questions would be answered but there was still a few major ones weighing on the boys mind. Who was this Gabumon? Why did he ask them to board the boats, and most importantly, where were they going to go once inside the boats? All these questions seemed to be answered when the Lillymon spoke up, declaring that they had all been called by Zeal....
That made Sean freeze in his tracks. Zeal? The zeal? the leader of the light tamers zeal? Suddenly it made sense to him, the gathering of tamers, Lexi, all these others, it all fit into place. He could not help but stare a moment at the gabumon, marveling at finally meeting the famed Zeal...
Tyerel meanwhile had followed his own approach. He stood, staring, gaping in disbelief, eyes wide and a finger pointing at the gabumon. "Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-" he said, he was pale, trying to get the words out, torn between awe and star struck. Finally he managed to spit out "Zeal" then stood there, frazzled. he didn't know what to think.
Arrow meanwhile, knew exactly what to think. He smirked in spite of himself. He thought there was something up with that Gabumon and we was right! he stared quiet, only smiling charmingly and waiting for his tamer to make a decision.
Sean looked away and started for the boats, gesturing for his two partners to follow. "Tye, maybe you should swim aye? clear you head?" the boy offered, kneeling down to the little seal and placing a hand over his shoulder.
"Huh? Oh! Yea, good idea" the gommamon said, jumping into the water beside the boat Sean entered. waiting for their departure with much on all their minds...

Tas’s eyes wandered around the group curiously. Most of the tamers looked experienced, but he was disappointed by the small size of the lot. He gritted his sharp teeth against each other and nudged Riley as the walked along the shore toward the small boats. “This will never be enough,” he hissed quietly to his tamer. He knew Baren would have agreed with him.
“Don’t say that,” Riley shot back defensively once they reached the dock. The teenager kept his head up high when they passed the elder digimon, nodding respectfully when he made eye contact with them. He wondered where Kuzuhamon was during this meeting of light tamers. She was the one who really informed him about the digital world’s problems and provoked him to join the light tamers. He hadn’t changed his views since.
Tas slid in the boat across from Riley and observed the colorful sky and endless ocean. The two were quiet after their brief conversation. Tas cared more for action than meetings and unnecessary formalities, while Riley was glad to finally see the light tamers together – even if they were a small bunch. The lingering thought of Baren dampened the proud movement of the tamers. He also knew that it was the reason for Tas’ harsh tone lately. “He’s fine on his own right now, you know that,” Riley said.
“Yeah,” the young digimon muttered. Tas sighed and rested his eyes in preparation for the group's next move.

What was right and what was wrong were things on opposite sides of a fine line. He was either on one side or the other, and as the world spun upon its axis with a certain force, no one could stand on the invisible. One was either on the left or on the right, not on. This was why he was here. Dietrich, you need to stop needing a reason to do something, he reprimanded himself mentally.
Thoughts were trivial, distracting things. The creatures calling to each other, more specifically a smaller one being hugged by a much larger one caught the boy's eye, and he watched him quite curiously. Whatever the canine was, it was definitely a great role - for he, and not anyone else, was happy to see 'so many faces' present.
"Hm."
DarkSlayer1331 - August 3, 2011 12:44 AM (GMT)
The Gabumon said many faces and Brett looked around just in case he had miscounted the number of Tamers, but found that there were the same number as before. Obviously the Digimon had been expecting less, or was at least afraid of having less. None the less, he listened closely and looked towards the ships, feeling a little uneasy. "Luke, do you think that this is such a good idea? I mean, I know that you said that we have to do whatever, but... being out on the water just doesn't seem like the safest idea in the world. What if we get attacked by Insomnia while we're out there? No offense, but I really don't think you'll be able to do much in the ocean." As much as he hated pointing out the negatives of that situation, Brett thought that it was probably worth doing so.
Luke himself had been wondering the same thing, and he frowned as Brett spoke, knowing that what he said was true. "Well at least being a Betamon will be helpful in the water. Though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to keep you afloat any. And I don't know if any of the other Digimon here would be able to carry us all either." He scratched the top of his head with a clawed foot before shrugging and moving toward the boats. "But I'm afraid we don't have much choice. We're just going to have to hope for the best." So he and Brett both moved forward, not looking at any of the other Tamers or their partner Digimon. Brett was afraid of others thinking that he was too weak to be of much use, and Luke was unsure he could keep a straight face with others looking at him. This was going to be scary, he could tell.
Vikemon - August 8, 2011 04:23 AM (GMT)
“Ha!” The Elecmon let out a hearty chuckle, “You’re one to talk. I’m surprised my data is still holding together!”
Looking around, Bakuran didn’t think it was possible, but more had shown up than he’d anticipated. Digimon and tamers alike answered the call, and it was to his delight that so many were partnered. Perhaps hope wasn’t gone after all.
It seemed as though that would be all from those attending. They would all need transportation, but no matter. Bakuran had that covered. Clearing his throat, “Friends.”
He raised his paw, hoping to get everyone’s attention, “Thank you all for coming. You are all here for different reasons, but you have come together because you believe that freedom is everyone’s right. I am so happy to see so many warriors here today.”
“We should now embark on our journey to my home. I promised you transportation, and I have delivered!” Turning back to the ocean, Bakuran raised his arms. Waves broke as creatures penetrated the surface and drifted closer to shore. A fleet of twenty Submarimon awaited passengers as the Elecmon laughed, “Come, friends! Your chariots await!”
Silvermistshadow - August 10, 2011 03:52 AM (GMT)
With the call, Kiwoharu moved forward toward Io. He recognized the exact Valkyrimon that had helped him during his earliest adventure. "Nice to see you again, Valkyrimon. Is it alright if I ride with the same chariot as you and your friends?" He asked. He specifically avoided the subject of the battle the last time they had met. It sounded like she had yet to recover from her physical injuries completely, who knows what mental ones were still there. Io felt like it would be cool to talk more with these leader-type people more too.
Valkyrimon - August 12, 2011 10:48 PM (GMT)
Valkyrimon smiled at the Gabumon as he dismissed her thanks, it warmed her heart that he considered her such a valued friend. Then there was Kiri... "I would not simply sit down on some bed while my friend calls a meeting, you know that Kiri" she said, standing and smiling roguishly at the lillymon. "I have no doubt you would've done the same if you were in my position, after all, it gave me a chance to stretch my wings since my little incident" she said, shrugging her shoulders while giving the flower girl a smile. "And what do you mean if I get hurt again? Even if I’m recovering I’m just as able a fighter as ever" she said, folding her arms and quirking her head at Kiri.
Her focus was momentarily diverted by the call from a girl on one of the ships. She turned and instantly recognized her, the girl from the plains. "Hey there!" she said, waving and instantly sent shooting pain up through her wing. "OH ouch" she said, rubbing her arm feverishly. "Guess I’m not quite healed all the way" she said, chuckling nervously. Now Kiri would never let her hear the end of it....
Yet it seems she was to be distracted again, for another human’s voice greeted her. Curiously she turned and stared down at a boy this time, one who was also from the plains, but from a different encounter, one she'd never quite forget... "Hey there" she said, bemused, not really expecting him to ask if he could ride in the same boat.
Their lied another problem, how would she travel? She still wanted to talk to zeal about things, but it had been ages since she'd seen Lexi. And then there was this boy, the one from her fight with beelzebumon, he probably had questions eh wanted to ask. Quite the dilemma she had on her hands wasn't it?
Finally she shrugged, coming to some sort of conclusion. "Do as you like friend" she said, smiling a bit at the boy. Then she turned to Zeal. "I'm heading out on one of the other boats if that’s ok with you, going to talk with one of the tamers i recruited awhile back" she said, jerking a thumb back at Lexi's boat.
Not really waiting for a reply from zeal or Kiri, she strode over to Lexi's boat, hopping in and perching herself on the rim. "Hey there, been awhile" he said, greeting the girl. She left it open to the boy weather he would join her or not.
Zeal - August 17, 2011 10:50 PM (GMT)
Zeal chuckled warmly at Bakuran before turn himself and stepping across the warm sand. "Kiri, Bakuran,"he said softly,"Care to join me in the ride? Even lone wolves occasionally enjoy the company of old friends."
He smiled and clambered into a boat. It was difficult in this squatter, more muscular form but he managed with out help. He let off a soft sound of relief and seated himself. "I assume that once we reach the area out at see, the Submarimon are there to take us the rest of the journey, my friend?"he inquired toward Bakuran, resting his paws on his broad knees.
Out beyond the dinghies, the vast ocean stretched, glittering like gem stones from the high sun. It nearly blinded the Gabumon with his brilliance and he was briefly struck with a flight of fancy; he almost wished he'd been gifted with a form to allow marine travel. To see the underwater world without the aid of a submarimon would be excellent.
Lilymon - August 24, 2011 04:15 AM (GMT)
Lilymon, though worried for the health and safety of the winged goddess, couldn't quite bring herself to stop her or insist that she travel in the company of Zeal and herself. If she preferred to mingle with the tamers and travel in their company, than who was she to stop her?
At Zeal's request, Lily nodded. "It'd be a pleasure to ride with you." she chimed happily before joining the small Gabumon and equally small Electmon. The boat only occupied up to three people (digimon included) max. The shall space allowed her to sit with the Gabumon at her front and the Electmon at her back.
"...."
All at once, a notion came to her and she acted upon it. Bringing her arms around Seal's child form, she pulled the canine digimon close to her. She could feel his fur bristle against her form, leaving her with a content smile on her face. "You're still so warm and snuggly!" Lily giggled. Apparently this hadn't been the first time she pulled a surprise snuggling or two of the Leader of Light.
Lexi soon made room for Valkyrimon to join them. It was truly an honor to have a famous digimon associated with the side of Light to take up the company of one of their chosen followers. Spyro knew this, yet Tikal knew nothing about Valkyrimon and those she called her allies.
Riku, however, had heard only mere legends and rumors about this group. He often heard small talk about a village being liberated by someone from the rebel group, or the legends surrounding the leading founders of the group. They were just stories without solid evidence and only though of them as that, just stories. Never once did he think he would find himself in the presence of that very group, and moreover considered a friend of them.
Smiling at the Ultimate, Lexi started a conversation with her. "It's been a long time since I last saw you Valkyrimon." the girl began. Tikal crawled into her lap and curled up for the journey ahead of them, purring softly as her tamer petted her. "As you can see, I gained a few new partners along the way. We've had our share of battles, including with a Dark Tamer named Kyra."
At that name, Spyro snarled as though he had eaten something terrible. The dragon snorted and turned around, obviously he was still sore over their most recent battle with the raven haired enemy.
Riku merely sat in silence, talking in the conversation and each of his partner's reaction to it in stride. There was very little he could say or bring to the conversation that would be of any interest for Valkyrimon to hear about.
That was alright. He found his teal eyes staring out at the clear ocean waters below him, his tail hung over the edge of the boat as it began to sail away.
Phantom - August 30, 2011 03:28 AM (GMT)
Tarukae really didn't know what to do. He didn't know Zeal and the only real reason he was there was to gather info on the Light Tamers. Tarukae knew one person there though, for a fact. He knew Sean. Tarukae had decided to swallow his pride and instead of being bored with the trip he walked over to Sean. Tarukae turned his head to Danu and Fallen and said, "Lets go talk to Sean and his digimon. So we aren't bored."
Tarukae confidently walked over to Sean. Of course he always walked confidently like he believed himself to be superior to others. When Tarukae made his way to Sean he said, "Hey Sean, you know much about this meeting?" Tarukae had actually found out through rumors about this meeting so he knew nothing of its contents.

Yeah... this was definitely not the place for Rayner and his crew. For one, Rayner noticed that Miuki was nervous, and noticed even moreso that ryu was a little frightened by so many people. Still a child at heart. Both of them were pretty young, by any atandards, gauging Ryu to be in the early teens, and Miuki into early adulthood.
"Let's go, guys. We'll vacation another time." Rayner said, and the three of them turned and returned to the path they had taken to get there. Watching all those humans and Digimon load onto boats was impressive, and would be worth remembering if he ever found out what it was really for.
(Out of this thread. Purely for plotline reasons, not because I'm tired of being in this thread xD)

Not knowing any of these legendary digimon and only recognizing few of the tamers, Mia and Veebe both settled down in an empty boat.
For now, they were only gonna follow the group, and see what this was really all about, then later, they could decide if they're gonna join in too.

(Sorry sorry sorry, this one snuck by me >.<)
Sean was listening to the surf, hearing the sounds of the waves gently hitting the sand. He was relaxing that is, tell he was interrupted....by Tarukae of all people. "Why is HE at a meeting of light tamers? More importantly, why was he trying to talk to me?" he thought to himself, eyeing the black haired youth. With his former actions, even with his help in the swamp, Sean was still very weary of him. He remembered the other boys views on his digimon back in the training match, that was something he could not, WOULD NOT forget.
Even arrow seemed to bristle slightly; his eyes were on the immune behind the boy. "Annoying little twat" he growled mentally. He hadn't forgotten the fires in the swamp, nor would he ever. "Yo" he simply offered, eyes momentarily flicking to tarukae then back to fallen.
"Not certain meself" Sean said simply, shrugging his shoulders. It was the honest truth, though it wasn't like he had any reason to lie to the black haired boy. "Question is...why did he call a meeting, and why did he let some new people along" He wondered aloud, eyes travelling to the Gabumon and staring momentarily, pondering much subtler and quiet thoughts to himself. During that time his eyes fell across Mia, he waved at her, whistling to catch her attention.
(No tyerel post for now, he’s swimming, PS there was no hate towards tarukae or phantom in this post XD just caught Sean at a....difficult time *kek*)

Perhaps it was purely chance that one of the nearest empty boats to the boy was the one occupied by Mia, a girl he'd met quite recently. She hadn't changed - but then again, neither had he. The teenager glanced at her quietly, settling in next to her. "Hey," he said, eyes still on her, "remember me?"
It was a rather odd sentence to say, but the cold and silence was something he did not wish to experience with someone who could be as equally chilly to him.

The elecmon chuckled amiably, looking at Zeal. "But we are in a submarimon," he pointed out, breaking out into bales of amused laughter. He peered through the opened glass hatch of the submarimon, watching as the icebergs floated past. When the nymph digimon hugged the gabumon, he tensed slightly - but relaxed just as quickly. It was only natural for the lillymon to pull off such a move, he thought with amusement.
He spared the other submarimon a glance before turning to his companions. He trusted in his companions' abilities to transport the tamers safely. It was odd to see many of them cramped in the same vessel, but it was of secondary importance. What they had to beat was time itself.
"Oi," he addressed the pink-colored creature in a good-natured manner, a smile cutting across his face, "Perhaps you should consider letting go of ol' Zeal. We should be hitting underwater rather soon."
Indeed, Bakuran's submarimon swiftly shut its hatch, causing the elecmon to huddle closer to the lillymon. Their underwater transport soon picked up speed, cutting water with its strong fins and pronged sword-horn, diving into the sea and under a massive iceberg.
