Title: Getting some grub
Description: Open for one other person

(Looking for some interaction with another person)
Trevor and Jojo had just finished going all around town. Trevor was very interested in the new town he was in. They were out for 5 hours just exploring, but then Jojo got hungry so they decided it was time for a meal.
Trevor and Jojo walked into the Tavern and Grill. They casually sat down at a wooden table and picked up some menus on the table.
"Order whatever you like, Jojo," Trevor said.
"Thanks!" Jojo replied cheerfully as he looked at the menu.

Diligence. Surrounding that word hung a silent threat that kept Chikai busy to the point of near-exhaustion. However, he could not go on forever with nothing to eat, and neither could Midnight. Thus, they came here. He had hoped to avoid too much interaction during 'break' time, but it seemed it was unavoidable, as there was already someone here. He tried not to sit too near them, but the tavern wasn't large enough for him to avoid hearing them.
"Being more social may be the only way to find the data we need, Chikai-kun." Midnight commented as they looked over the menu. He didn't reply.
When it came time to order, they both ordered a dish that involved chicken and french fries. Chikai was still only defensively social, apparently held back still by his old personality, though he was quickly growing a new one that would soon become a form of mask over his true feelings.

Trevor had decided to order a corn dog and that was it. Jojo decided on some loaded potato skins. The potato skins were covered in cheddar cheese and bacon. On the side was sour cream. Jojo's mouth watered when the plate was sat down. He immediately began to eat his meal while Trevor glanced over at the human and digimon who walked in.
"Want come over here and eat with us?" Trevor asked. Trevor hoped that they knew more than him, that way he could ask them some questions about the Digital World.

Well, there it was. This person nearby had noticed him. "Fine." He stated, almost apathetically, moving over to their table, but on the far end. Midnight was more interested in being social and sat a bit closer than Chikai to the other human.
"I am Midnight, and my partner is called Chikai. What are your names?" She asked as their meal arrived. While Chikai started eating immediately, Midnight seemed to want them to speak first. The black-furred Renamon's green eyes were on them, wondering what they were like.
Phantom - May 3, 2011 12:20 AM (GMT)
"My name is Trevor and here is my partner, Jojo," Trevor responded with a friendly smile. "How long has your partner been in this world?" Trevor figured that the Renamon had been in this world for awhile since this was her home land, but he was curious to see if Chikai was new like him. Jojo seemed to show very little interest in the conversation as he continued to eat.

Midnight nodded at their introduction. Midnight had technically existed in some form for a while, but this form had recently hatched. It had been a few days since she had hatched, perhaps a week since Chikai had arrived. "We've been here a few days." She answered. Chikai seemed to be monitoring the conversation as they talked. He needed to make sure nothing too sensitive was revealed, even as he ate.

Trevor took a bite of his corn dog and chewed it. It had a very delicious flavor to it. After he was done chewing he said, "Damn, so you guys haven't been hear that long." Trevor frowned. He was hoping that they knew more than him, but just to check he said, "So what all do you know about this place?"
Silvermistshadow - May 29, 2011 10:49 PM (GMT)
The team had not been there that long, but they had been working hard at gathering information. "We actually know a little more than our time here would indicate. Any questions in particular?" Midnight asked. Meanwhile, since her conversation partner had started eating, she started eating, starting with the french fries. Chikai just seemed to be observing still.

Trevor thought for a second and then said, "Have you been outside this city? And if so what kind of things are out there?" After Trevor asked his question he took another bite of his corn dog. Trevor was very new to this place and he wanted to get as much info as possible before leaving the city.
Silvermistshadow - June 1, 2011 11:36 PM (GMT)
The question was one that it had only taken them a little bit of searching to find out. Chikai had bought map data early on, to ensure he would at least know something about the areas. He stopped eating and pressed a few buttons to bring the maps up and projected them into the air. A flashing dot indicated their current position, somewhere inside another dot that said 'digital city'. Outside this dot was a set of track lines, and as he zoomed out, it showed eleven different stops in varying climates. "It says there's a desert, a mountain, a forest, a jungle, a graveyard and other varying climates. Right outside seems to be the grasslands, and Primary Village seems to be where everyone starts." Chikai said as he pointed to various areas.

Trevor curiously looked at the map. He thought it was one of the coolest things ever. It was a projected map like in the movies. Then he looked at the actual points and said, "Have you been to any of these places? If so where have you been?" Trevor still knew he needed to find out some info. He thought that maybe Chikai had been to some of these places. Well he hoped that Chikai had been to them.
Silvermistshadow - June 6, 2011 02:25 AM (GMT)
Now that he was an active conversation partner, Chikai stopped eating for a bit and focused on the words spoken by this other tamer. "We've mostly stuck to the grasslands. They're usually peaceful. The other areas tend to have more actively hostile digimon." He knew this from a combination of a small part of experience and a large part of information gathering. The city was ripe with information for those who sought it, and it was part of his mission to seek out information, though the kind he needed he had yet to find in the amount he needed. He had at least heard about the battle in the park, as well as the related one in the shopping center, enough to hear a few descriptions of those who had fought Insomnia's forces.

"So this place isn't all fun in games? Are there any like 'bad guys' I should look out for? You know so I don't get hurt and what not." Trevor really didn't want to encounter any bad people. He kinda just wanted to live in enjoyment with Jojo. Something that was probably impossible, but Trevor wished they could.
Silvermistshadow - June 12, 2011 07:45 PM (GMT)
Then came this discussion. Chikai would at least tell Trevor the truth, whether or not it pleased certain others that were relying on him. "Right now, as far as I know, there are two main factions opposing each other. On one side, there is Insomnia and her dark tamers, and on the other, is Zeal and his light tamers. Both may be inclined to attack the other side on sight, so I would recommend staying neutral if you want to avoid fighting either." He stated. It was too late for Chikai to stay neutral, but he could at least give someone else that advice. "As for everywhere else.. There are digimon out there that are affiliated with either side or even neither, and those might attack you as well."
Phantom - June 13, 2011 03:33 AM (GMT)
"So there is pretty much a war going on and us humans were called into the middle of it? We were just called here to fight?! Are there kids younger than me here?! Huh?! Kids that have to fight for some random world! That is bullshit!" Trevor suddenly blew up in rage at the thought of people being transported to the Digital World to randomly fight in a war. Trevor took a deep breath, using a technique he learned to help curb his anger. He then had came to a decision. "I am going to stop the war. I won't avoid a fight. I will fight both sides. If I have to I will completely annihilate both sides just to stop the war."

Once the other boy started off on his little outburst, Chikai sighed, realizing that Trevor would be an enemy if he ever found out about Chikai's allegiance. Once he calmed down, Chikai looked at him seriously after he finished talking. "If that's the way you choose, then that path is yours. Know that many on each side are currently more powerful than you, and would defeat you easily. Victory lies in preparation." This much advice he could give the boy without revealing too much. He was nearly finished with his meal, as was Midnight. It would be time to go soon, but not just yet, as he waited a little to see if the boy had anything else to say.
Phantom - June 19, 2011 02:23 AM (GMT)
"Do you know why someone would fuel this war? Why they won't just go against this Insomnia and Zeal, and make this a land of a peace?" Trevor didn't understand why someone would fuel war. What is the point? It just makes the world horrible.
Jojo looked over at Trevor and patted him on the back. "I understand your anger, Trevor. But you need to not make a scene."
Trevor took a deep breath after Jojo patted him on the back. He tried to take in the oxygen to cool down his mind.
Silvermistshadow - June 19, 2011 07:31 PM (GMT)
Silence met the new question the other boy asked. Chikai couldn't answer that without possibly revealing whose side he was working for. He saw the other boy's friend trying to calm him down, and stood up, having finished his meal. "Search for yourself. I have a task ahead of me." Next Midnight stood up, and they went to leave.

"That kid was kinda weird," Trevor commented to Jojo. He then finished up his food and said, "I guess we better get going."
"Yup," Jojo said as he stood up out of his chair. He start walking to the door with a bounce in his step. Trevor walked behind Jojo with confidence in each of his steps. He stood tall and his steps were firm. This almost proved he was self-confident.
