The doors to the church creaked open as a human boy and his two companions entered set on the purpose of meet their pre-arranged opponent here. They boy, also known as Sean, had his swords with him and his hands in his pockets as he sauntered through the row of benches. On this occasion eh wasn’t wearing his hat, but was adorned with the rest of his standard equipment.

He personally wanted to meet this person, he had heard of her before. Moreover, he knew her to be a light tamer, an actual light tamer. This was one of the primary concerns for meeting her, to meet an actual light tamer. The second reason was, to try and gauge what kind of person these light tamers might be. From what he knew light tamers were the good guys and dark tamers were the bad guys, Insomnia being the chief bad guy of course. But he wanted to more about the current situation and how he might be able to help out. He still was looking for his sister of course, but by joining a side he might get some help.

Sean was so enraptured with the thoughts going through his head at that moment that he almost walked into the preachers stand. Luckily, an ear shot out and stopped him from walking into it.

"Head in the clouds already? You haven't even met the girl yet Sean; it’s weird to be day dreaming about her already" the cool voice of Arrow the Terriermon said, his beetle-black eyes and cool smile dominating his features. Of course his wit earned him a small noggie from his tamer, and a chuckle. "Alright, alright enough!" he said, laughing as the boy set him back down.

"So this is a church? Wow, and I thought the grand cathedral was impressive" another voice, this time Tyerel the gommamon said. He was fixated on the stained glass and the light shining through it, decorating the battlefield with a variety of colors. Currently, he was sitting in a purple spot.

"Same style, though I've never been in one" Sean said, smiling at the curiosity of his friend. He wasn’t religious, not in any sense, but he considered these kinds of churches more like art than anything religion affiliated. It would be a nice touch to the battle, adding a bit of color to the battle field. He looked up into the stained glass depiction of Jesus Christ, and how he looked sad in the glass.

In his mind, religion brings nothing but trouble....but everything should be ok...

Her quiet footsteps were the only sound to be heard, signaling that the boy's opponent was growing closer. The sounds of her shoes hitting the ground as they walked was soon mixed with that of the sound of claws clicking on the hard floor beneath them.

"My, this is certainly a colorful and peaceful place."

Tikal remembered to whisper quietly while they were within a church, despite knowing that the church was merely a set-up for what may be a battle against a potential opponent.

The crimson dragon merely snorted. "Don't let your guard down. There is no telling just who we may have to face here." Came his gruff reply.

The feline turned her nose to him and ignored his warning. He had been slowly growing less and less tolerable to her. She wasn't quite sure what it was about him, but it seemed to have to do with how he and Lexi interacted. She just couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Lexi quieted her partners down. "Easy guys. Lets worry about that once we see who we're battling." She would soon get her answer when she saw the boy who had been waiting on her. He looked as if he had been waiting there for a while. More than likely impatient to get their battle going.

"Hey there." The girl called out to him with a wave. "I'm Lexi Tashimi. These are my partners, Spyro and Tikal." she addressed them with a wave of her hand at the Tailmon and the Guilmon at her side.

"And who might you be?" Lexi asked him as she adjusted her hat.

It had been a small wait for Sean and his partners while they awaited the arrival of their opponent. Sean had resorted to sharpening his blade while he waited, the sound of the whetstone gliding over the magical stones surface to be heard throughout the whole cathedral. The Gommamon Tyerel was walking around to stay awake, amusing himself by jumping from colored space to colored space. The terriermon Arrow was resting his eyes as he was sitting on a bench.

When he heard the door on the far end of the aisle open, he perked up. "Showtime guys" he said, standing up and jumping off the bench, into sight of the female tamer.

Both Sean and Tyerel looked up, got up, and walked forward to meet their opponent. Tyerels eyes immediately fell on the gatomon; she wasn't bad looking and looked friendly enough. He wanted to meet this digimon! Shaking his fur to stretch out, he flattened parts of it back down while he waited for the other group approached.

Arrows eyes immediately fell on the Guilomon who looked like the most serious of the trio, he immediately tensed up. He emulated power...not to mention it looked like he was had a really bad attitude. He'd have to be watched around Sean, he didn’t want his tamer and friend to get hurt by some digimon who was having a bad day.

As for Sean, he looked straight at Lexi. "Top of the mornin to ya" he said, smiling and bowing to the girl. "My name's Sean, I don’t know my last, my apology if it offend ye" he said, straightening his posture and smiling at the girl. "Beg my pardon, but I've hear a lot about you Lexi. A friend of mine, you may know her told me I could find you here and well, I wanted to meet you" he said, rubbing his neck nervously.

"Hi there!" Tyerel piped up, giving Sean some time to collect his thoughts. "I'm Tyerel, Sean's first and most handsome partner" he said, giving Tikal a knowing, joking wink.

Arrow openly scoffed. "Excuse him; he’s got the IQ of a ground squirrel. I'm Arrow, nice to meet you" he said, looking at Lexi and Tikal, then at the Guilomon, his smile fading a bit. Keep your cool.

"Anyway, I wanted to meet you Lexi...” Sean began again, after smiling at her apologetically at her for his partners. "You’re the first light tamer I've met, and I wanted to meet you for that reason" Sean said, explaining any miss-conceptions the girl might have picked up. "I've not yet had the displeasure of meeting a dark tamer and I wanted to hear the lights story first."
