So I looked over the threads already in the section and couldn't find a single one about Dark Digivolving. I know its not a very big part of the shows, but it definatly happens at least a few times over all. So I was wondering, would it be possible to do this in an RP. Or have a Digivolution line which follows Dark Digivolving?

If you mean to ask if you can have a secondary line for dark digivolving, then no, you can't. Otherwise, call your digivolution line whatever you want, but you only get one per partner.

Otherwise, it's accepted in "one time only" occurences in RP, and usually only for digivolving into one higher form, though I'm sure multiple evolutions would be possible as long as it's only for roleplay purposes for that one thread.

Ya Corrupted, I just wanted to know if it was possible to make a line using dark digivolving not having a separate line. I just thought it would be cool for that to happen or in some cases be the only way a digimon could digivolve. I was wondering if it would follow the same DEP needed for just regular digivolving though?

Most definitely. since the only real difference would be what you're calling it in RP. Otherwise, it's just a digivolution line like any of the rest of them.

Here is the part of Riko's Crestventure where the only instance of Dark Evolution on DD occurs, so unless the admins have changed their minds since then, strictly one-off Dark Evolutions must be acceptable.

And by one-off. It is literally a one-off. No multiple darks in one thread, I believe.

Yeah, I remember having to wait for a green light from the admins on that one. Make sure that there's a good reason for a dark evolution to happen, and like everyone has already said, it can only be a one-time deal.

Now, as far as a LINE based on dark digivolution, I for one plan on it for one of my characters. It'll be a patamon whose line looks like this:

Patamon - Devimon - Neodevimon - Beelzebumon - BeezebumonX

Now that will be his OFFICIAL LINE, so there won't be any Angemon line that he WOULD HAVE had. I intend for him to be taken over by a virus before he digivolves to Angemon, so that his entire line is permanently altered.

The most I plan to use Corrupted Digivolutions for is a two-stage Digivolution of Ryu later on, something about his brother no doubt ^_~
