Now, I know I've discussed this idea with most of the staff here. But I figured I'd throw the idea out to the rest of you to see what you guys think.

I've been wanting to do a Digimon series Rp involving the cast of Digital Dreams for some time now. I think it would be very interesting. And at the very least for some good character interaction. ^^;

So, I ended up developing an idea for a Digimon 02/Digital Dreams related rp for us to take part in. But what is the storyline you may ask? Well, it is thus:

Taking place after Season 2 (which is after the final battle, hence why they wouldn't have their crests). The likes of Insomnia has emerged in the Digital World. Her influence is contagious, spreading across the world and tainting it. Realizing they were facing an enemy far greater than anything before, Genai summons new tamers/digidestined to answer the call. Leaving the current digidestined out of the loop. Meanwhile, in the real world, there are reports of children going missing across the world. Which doesn't interest Izzy or the others at first, but when one of the disappearances hits close to home they begin to investigate into the matter and discovers there is far more to these disappearances.

So, there you go. We have a decent story to go by for the most part. The only thing left is to find out who amongst you want to take part in this. If I get enough support then I'll go through with the idea. If not, then this'll simply sit on the back burner to fade into obscurity.

So guys, who wants to give this a try? ^^

That's great guys! I'm glad you guys are willing to give this a try at least. ^^

Now, I'll still accept anyone else willing to join (like Vn and Losty) so for now I'll go ahead and post a few rules and guidelines for this rp.

- Since this is a crossover with Digital Dreams. Some of the things from the forum will be used for this rp. Tamers having more than one partner (but no more than three), matrix evolution (maybe), and a few items are acceptable.

What isn't acceptable is tamers having Spirit Forms. We don't need our tamers being too powerful, remember they will still need the Digidestined to help them. I don't think cards will be allowed either unless we can think of a way to incorporate them.

The uses of Digimental Eggs are a must, crest are also allowed as well. For those who use DigiSoul as a mean of evolution, I'll allow it. It'll be a nice change from the usual means of evolution. ^^

Finally, and all importantly, the Digidestined themselves!

We have the main roles of Digidestined that are up for grabs by everyone! Here's a list of who we need for the rp.

Background: Born and raised in Kyoto, Alexis grew up within the comfort and safety of her family. Though her mother was killed in a car accident and her father had abandoned his family, Lexi still had her older siblings and her Grandmother's guidance as she grew older. She lived within her family's kendo studio where her older siblings took part in the family trade and became kendo masters and teachers. But both she and her twin, Momiji, didn't share the same love for the sport and developed interest in other things. Such as Digimon for one.

After the incident involving Malo Myotismon, Lexi and Momiji became fascinated with Digimon. So much that they began to deam of the day when they could both become Digidestined to help he others in their many adventures. One day, while online she found a chatroom dedicated to Digimon. It was there she met Sora and became fast friends with her, sharing her love for Digimon with her.

But a few weeks later, reports of children and teenagers disappearing all over the world made headline news everywhere. She didn't pay too much attention into the matter, thinking it was just some publicity stunt or something. That was, until she herself disappeared on her way home from a friend's house...

Background: Sean was born on a boat in from Ireland on it's way into Chicago, when he was born his mother died during child birth. Sean's Father was murdered five minutes off of the boat by a mugger who couldn't tell his father was poor. Fortunately he was not alone in this world alone, His two year old sister and himself were taken to an orphanage were they lived for 15 years. During this time Sean learned things that his sister taught him, like the fact that he was Scottish and Irish and the fact that he was a stubborn person. He also learned how to fight on the streets to survive and defend himself.

At the moment his sister and he were let out of the orphanage they jumped on a ship heading for Japan to escape America. The minute they arrived Malo Myotismon was attacking the city. In the insinuating chaos Sean and his sister were spereated and Sean could only find his sisters locket afterwards. He then devoted himself to finding her in Japan, rarely asking for help from anyone. Halfway through the year he was detained for being homeless and was on his way to a police station when something amazing happened.

Sean, before he was arrested had read in an newspaper he had found that kids were disapering and was woundering what the heck was going on. When he was halfway to the police station the car door on the police cab suddenly flung open. Sean thanked his lucky stars and rolled out of the car which broke his cuffs. He then sprinted down an alley, only to find it was a dead end. Sean thought that this was it and he never would see his sister again when he blacked out and lost all concienseness, not knowing he was being transported to another world...

Background: In a parallel world to the existing ones, Digimon Tamers were a rare occurrence. One such laboratory tried to create more Tamers to defend their world against the sudden pandemic of infected Digimon. Arashi has been living in a laboratory for as long as he remembered with many other children. He was named after one of the founders of the center, Yamazaki Arashi; to distinguish himself from 'that cranky old man', he called himself Yama-arashi, the Japanese word for porcupine. Because of this, his codename was also Porcupine for identification purposes during his training; later, Porcupine was shortened to just 'Pork' by his friends. He was one of the children who had passed the preliminary tests to enter training as a Digimon Tamer, but several of his friends were going to be destroyed by the researchers for not being up to grade.

Stepping in to protect his friends, Arashi was labeled as a defective specimen, though he was one of the finest in that particular batch of Tamers. His 'parents' were particularly sad to see him go, but it simply had to be done. That very night, Digivice in tow, he disappeared from the laboratory without leaving behind any traces. His leaving ended up in a fiasco - his 'parents' were executed for letting him escape; his friends were tortured to their death in order to get the truth. Later that week the number of infected Digimon increased, bringing havoc and chaos to the city that was only barely able to stand on its feet.

Rumors spread that he was the one behind the sudden influx of Digimon, starting a manhunt for the ten-year-old. It wasn't surprising, for laboratory-bred humans were engineered to maximize their potential, and Arashi was no exception. Having heard of the truth, he was forced to live with the guilt that came from his selfishness. His emotions manifested into darker, deeper ones that triggered a resonance between the parallel world he lived in and another one, transporting him there via a portal.

Background: Born and raised in Michigan in the United States, Joseph had a fairly simple childhood. Parents were fine, siblings were fine, his family in general were fine. He had an above-average intelligence, and just enough social awkwardness to label him as a nerd or a geek during his early teenage years, especially in high school. He had a few close friends whom he cherished, but he never had the courage to ask a girl out. His general personality was that of a rather laid back individual who didn't like to cause trouble or upset the status quo, and even if he felt that something needed to be changed he generally kept quiet, preferring other more passionate individuals to fight such battles instead.

His 'contact' with Digimon started, like with many others, through the incident where the Digital World appeared in the sky above the Human World; Joseph also would later hear about Diaboromon's attack, though he never ended up sending any e-mails of support to the Digidestined. His first time actually encountering a Digimon was when Control Spires appeared around the Human World, when one of the rogue digimon went on a rampage through his home town before being rounded up by the Digidestined.

Though at first the incident terrified him, he eventually got over it, and instead saw it as a badge of honor, to have seen a real digimon, and to have watched the Digidestined in action. He looked up to them, hoping that one day he could be like them...his day would eventually come, shortly after he graduated from high school.
