Tarukae smiled as he walked into the open plain. The air was clear, and the grass a beautiful green. Tarukae took a deep breath, inhaling the clear air. He was ready! This was it a match, no environmental help. Just a straight forward match. Danu looked up at his master.

"Master, are you ready?" Danu asked.

"Danu, I am always ready," Tarukae's face curled into a smile as he responded.

Tyerel looked down as they entered the training feild, he was still feeling bad about himself due to his loss in the tournement.

Sean and Tyerel had stopped here on their way to the grassy plains to drop off some of their un needed supplies. Sean had seen how bed Tyerel was feeling and entered them in an training match against an un named opponent. "cheer up Tye, looke theres....well by my fathers- its that boy from the japan simulation" Sean said waving at him.

Tyerel looked up too see the agumon he had with him, he tightend his focus and put on a cheery smile, he knew this aguman could armor digivolve and not so could Tyerel.

"Hello, I remember you," Tarukae replied as his face curled into a smile. "Now I get to test how well you fight against someone like me."

"Master, just tell me when you are ready," Danu said.

Tarukae counted with his fingers, up to three. Right when he got to three he yelled, "Attack!" Danu quickly followed orders and shot a red and orange fire ball at Tyerel. They weren't going to waste a single move.

Sean and Tyerel rolled away from each other to avoid the attack. They got up dusted themselves off and faced the other pair. Sean smiled, "well considering how much you enjoyed fighting that Musayamon you should really get a kick from this" Sean said selecting the Digimental of Resilience and pointed his hand at Tyerel. "Alright Tye, stand against him!" Sean cried, he didnt know why he said those words, they just seemed to come to him.

Tyerel was instantly surrounded by data as the digimental began to change him into...Elephantmon. When he was fully changed he let out a srhill Elephant cry from his trunk. "Now this is much more like it eh?" Tyerel said spinning the turbines on his ears to get himself used to his new body."Tusk missile!" he cried shooting his tusks off which transformed into missiles and streaked twoard Danu.

Sean looked over to the other tame and said " i dont beleive i caught your name, what was it?"

"The name is Tarukae-sama!" Tarukae replied as he pointed to himself. "That there is Danu! And we will become kings of this realm!"

Danu jumped high in the air to dodge the tusks. Then Tarukae without making a sound activated his digmental to armor digivolve Danu. Danu's body slowly became surrounded in the armor with fire patterns. His skin started to turn blue, and he became taller and skinnier. His tail grew longer also. Danu then shot himself down at Tyerel, surrounding himself in fire.

"Now then it is my turn!" Tarukae drew his katana and tried to slash Sean, this was a test not only of his digimon's skill but Sean's also.

Tyerel swiveled his ears twoard the oncoming fireball, aiming the turbines at Danu Tyerel cried " Nitro Turbine Wave!" The turbines began to spin fast shooting a strong wind at Danu. The wind picked up however, suddenly turning from a strong breeze to a Gale force wind, cementing Tyerel in place while the gale winds blew at Danu.

Sean had barely any time to react to Tarukes attack, he leaped out of the way, Tarukaes blade sliceing off a bit of Seans coat. Sean saw this and drew Iron Mountian to confront Tarukae, "kings eh? i geuss ill have to shut you down then" Sean said holding the blade outward, the handle near his face, drawn back in a fighting stance. Shouting an celtic cry he charged slashing downward at Tarukae.

Danu's flame was put out and he was shot away from Tyerel. Danu laughed manically, surprisingly Tarukae's personality had become a virus that took over Danu also, just not as extreme.

"Is that it?! Come on, you will need better than that to defeat a king!" Danu then dashed to Tyerel's left side, making sure that the wind wasn't in his way. He then went in for another flaming tackle. Danu had focused more power into this tackle, increasing the size and intensity of the flame.

Tarukae sidestepped to the Sean's left side. Tarukae hated people who yelled when they attacked and yelled the name of their attacks. Which is why Tarukae had made Danu not yell out when he used an attack. Tarukae had countered Sean with a roundhouse, aimed for Sean's gut.

Tyerel saw Danu change course for his side but instead he continued to shoot air but instead angled diagonaly at the ground to blow him backwards out of the way of danus attack. He stopped blowing air when he was blown backwards and instead shot his tusk missiles at Danu when he was coming to where Tyerel wouldve been if he hadent moved. the point blank range of the explosion blasted Tyerel back even further making him roll. He got up shaking himself and said "A king should know not to over inflate his ego and get carried away!"

Sean received the kick to the stomach and let out a small gasp of pain. Seans blood began to boil as he garbbed Taruke's leg, he then began to spin and throw Tarukae away from him.

"Ego? Please, you have no idea of my power!" Danu replied as he ducked beneath the attack. He then dug his feet into the ground. "Now then, Mr. long range, let's see how good you can fight up close!" Danu stood his ground in that one spot, waiting for Tyerel to attack.

Tarukae fell to the ground and started laughing. He dusted the dirt off of himself. His eyes narrowed, into a more serious look. Tarukae sheathed his sword, put kept his hand on the handle. He stood his ground, keeping his feet firm.

"Now come and show me your next attack," Tarukae ordered, without emotion.

Tyerel snorted, "spouting all this nonsense of power, You have no humility or shame! he creid pawing the ground. He let out another elephant cry and leaped into the air, he angled his turbines behind him and shot forward at Danu. "I shall teach you that your arrogance is your downfall!" he creiad as his spped picked up.

Sean scowled at Taruke, "you are very arrogant, i shall show you my strength in combat!" he cried, charging claymore held upward at Taruke.

Danu smiled, his enemy had fallen for the bait. Danu quickly dodged the attack, by jumping to the side. Then he surrounded his foot in flames, and smashed it down on Tyerel's back.

"Arrogance? I think not," Tarukae dodged the attack with a flowing motion. "You need to realize that charging blindly doesn't win a fight." Tarukae then turned his sheath around, so when he drew his katana the blunt end would hit Sean. Tarukae then quickly pulled out his blade and tried to slash Sean, aiming at the kidney.

Tyerel winced as the kick came down, it made him spiral out of control and rolled onto the feild. He got up slowly shaking himself off he glared at Danu, he was not about to lose to this arrogant fladramon. He shot his tusk missiles at Danu then ascended into the air, he would beat this Fladramon yet.

Sean smirked, he continued to run until he was within strikeing range then pivited and slahed diagonally downwards from left to right aiming for Tarukae's sword, putting power and momentum behind the swing hopeing to hit Tarukaes blade as he drew it. "you should realize that im not as stupid as i look" Sean said

When Danu made it to the ground, he rolled out of the way of the tusks. An explosion could be seen barely away from where Danu was standing. Danu kicked up off the ground, using the wind of the explosion to force himself even higher. As he went up he surrounded himself in flames and tried to tackle Tyerel.

Tarukae's blade hit Sean's blade. Sparks seemed to fly as the blades hit. Tarukae noticed that Sean had a lot of force, so he had to make sure his force was the same. Tarukae then lightened his force for a millisecond. At that moment, Tarukae shot his leg into Sean's gut.

Tyerel maneuvered out of the way of the flaming fireball and shottwo more missiles at him, he wouldent be beat in the environment he was litteraly built for.

Sean received the kick to the stomache and let out a sharp cry of pain. He let go of the claymore with one of his hands holding it in one hand now. He curled his hand into a fist and threw a left hook at Tarukaes face. His blood was boiling again, and the fighting instinct he got from growing up on the street was surfaceing.

Danu was hit by one of the missiles and he fell to the ground, after the explosion. Danu got up and dusted himself off. He got into a battle position and yelled, "Master, when you get the chance, digivolve me!"

Tarukae heard the words loud and clear. Tarukae in instinct, not thinking about dodging just thinking about helping Danu, jumped back. This caused Sean's attack to miss and gave Tarukae the chance to digivolve Danu.

Tarukae activated the power of his D-Ban, causing Danu to go to champion level. His body started to increase in size, and his skin turned orange with blue stripes. He looked to be heavier set now also. His flame armor was replaced with a single piece of brown armor on his head. Danu's teeth became very sharper. Danu roared as he became a mighty Greymon. Danu focused fire in his mouth and shot out a raging flame at Tyerel.

"Now, so you don't do anything funny," Tarukae sliced a guard and a cube surrounded Sean's D-Ban. Tarukae followed it with another card. This time a cube surrounded both of Sean's feet, restricting them to a point where they couldn't be moved unless Sean hopped. "Now then, I guess you are all tied up!" Tarukae laughed manically.

Sean uttered a curse as he nearly lost balance, "your a damn coward Tarukae!" he said glareing at him. "king? Hah! if this is how you rule then i will make it my lifes devotion to stop you!" Sean said, his temper rising.

Tyerel was barely able to move out of the way, some of the flame grazed his side and he winced in pain. Out of the corner of his eye he saw that Sean was in trouble, he repositioned himself and shot of another pair of tusk missiles, one at the grounded Greymon and one at the overcompatent Tarukae. he then sped out at Tarukae like a bat out hell.

Sean continued his rant of Tarukae "your insane, the minute you step up to even THINK of becoming a ruler someone will stop you!"

Tarukae jumped out of the way of the tusk. When the tusk hit the ground a tiny bit of the explosion hit him. Tarukae winced from the pain. Danu dodged the tusk also, but he was faster than Tarukae so it didn't hit.

"Do you know what makes a ruler, a ruler? I'll tell you, ruthlessness. Think about some of the rulers who brought their countries from shit to great power. Hitler, Nobunaga, Stalin, Attila the Hun, these men and more may have been stopped. But everything must be stopped. I don't care if I am stopped. All I want is for people to know and respect me as a superior power!" Tarukae replied to Sean.

Danu focused flames in his mouth. He then quickly shot them at the speeding Tyerel. They were going to win!

"Now, surrender boy. We have you in check," Tarukae slowly walked towards Sean, sword in hand.

Tyerel heard the gigantic ball of flame roaring behind him, he used a Nitro turbine wave to propel himself forward to nab Sean. He hoped the cone of wind behind him would interfere with the Fireball behind him and pose a threat to the Greymon behind him.

Sean snorted at Tarukaes proclemations, "ruthlessness? HA! you dont know what makes good leader you fool, William Wallace, Brian Boru, and your japanese Ieyasu Tokugawa are TRUE leaders of men. they fought alongside of their men and fight with heart, you speak of dictators and cowards who know nothing of heart and valor. power? to you and the men you speak of power means the power to destroy and kill, power is a selfish reason to rule and you should be ashamed!" Sean said. He took a deep breathe and continued, "also check doesnt mean im beat quite yet, a common situation for an irishman is to be in so called "check" and you should know the nature of the beast you try to kill." Sean caught from the corner of his eye a gigantic flying object and smiled, "now you see me-" He said before being sweept up by a white elephant trunk.

Tyerel grabbed Sean and flew above Tarukae so they weren't in much danger. "Now you dont!" Tyerel finished holding Sean in his trunk and giving a wide smile t othe enemy's below.

Sean waved at Tarukae with his hat and smiled like they were old chums. "Sorreh lad, looks like im still in this fight eh?" Sean said yelling in his irish accent to further antagonize Tarukae, the light box on his hand and foot begining to fade

"Tokugawa? How cute that you think a lazy man like him was great! All he did was wait, a real man grabs the reins of power for himself! Do you have that kind of ambition?! No! Do you know why?! It is in your blood! How many Irish empires have you heard of?! None! Because they had no ambition!" Tarukae yelled in return at his enemy.

Tarukae then sliced two cards. The moment he sliced the cards, Danu started to grow even bigger. His body became leaner and more muscular. Silver and gold armor surrounded his body. Danu was now a mighty WarGreymon! Danu started to focus energy into his hands. Creating a gold and red giant molten fire ball. Danu threw it at Tyerel.

"Now take this!" Tarukae laughed manically.

Tyerel was mor a moment frozen in fear, this was an Ultimate level digimmon and it was a viable threat to him and Sean. in his fear his turbines stoped working and he dropped from his hovering status.

they began to fall fast and Sean saw the gigantic fireball fly overhead and speed to space. He thumped Tyerel on the trunk to try and get his atention back on the fight and out of frozen fear.

Tyerel had to blink several times before he registered he and Sean were safe. He started his turbines in time to land softly on the grass, he still held Sean in his trunk and was ready to protect him at any cost. He launched both missiles at the new digimon, he diddnt expect to hurt him but maybey annoy him.

Sean waved his fist back at Tarukae, "You dumb arse, did ye even lissen to what I said? Brian Boru was Irelands king and he was a kick arse king at that! plus Nobunaga would've been slain by william wallace if he even came NEAR scotland!"

"Yes, because Nobunaga was so weak," Tarukae replied sarcastically. "Well it doesn't matter now. You will feel my wrath!"

Danu dodged the two missiles with ease. Danu laughed at his enemy's attempt. Danu then started to spin incredibly fast, until he was like a tornado. He then shot himself at Tyerel. Danu was trying to drill his body into Tyerel, tearing him apart.

Thee boxes finally disapeered and Sean was freed. "O finally!" Sean exclaimed feeling his hand and feet freed, he looked at the on-coming death tornado. He reached for his cards and swiped one wich would protect him and then another which would heal Tyerel. he then began to stretch and work out the kinks in his legs and relax.

Tyerel felt the energy leave his body and his wounds heal, he let out a sigh of releif as he relaxed a bit but tensed up alsmot immediately ready to fight again but not attacking.

"Danu, get down here!" Tarukae ordered as Danu stopped spinning. Danu descended right next Tarukae. "His card won't stop, until he attacks. So we must wait."

"Yes, master," Danu replied as he dug his feet into the ground. He soon degenerated to his Greymon form. Now he had to wait for his enemy to attack.

"well now that looks a bit more fair now dont it?" Sean remarked working out the last of his kinks.

"Yea...but what now?" Tyerel asked his eyes still on Danu.

Sean seemed to give some thought and an ghost of an idea came to him, "get ready to blast some missiles at him" Sean said retreiveing a card from his pack.

Tyerel complied and took aim at Danu, when he did this the transparent shield lowered. Sean then swiped a car wich Sean an arrow streaking from Tyerels trunk at Danu. After this he shot his tusk missiles at him hopeing to catch him when the arrow hit with the explosive missiles.

Tarukae took three cards and sliced each one in succession. First was Fox Power, second was Lightning Agility, third and the one that would make Danu unstoppable was Hyper Mode. The basic principle of this was making Danu incredibly fast. Of course because of Hyper Mode his strength and endurance had also reached a new level. Danu quickly dodged the two tusks. But because the arrow was guaranteed to hit, Danu was hit on the shoulder. Danu roared out in pain.

"I think Danu is a little mad," Tarukae laughed.

Danu roared angrily, like a wild beast without a mind. It had seemed like Danu had gotten back more of his instincts. Danu then in anger focused as much flame as possible in his mouth, strands of flame even started to come out of his mouth. Danu then shot the massive flame ball at Tyerel.

Sean swiped two cards and stood back to watch, "he might be angry, but Tyerels still smarter" he said looking like it was just a casual conversation.

The cards Made Tyerel not only stronger but he began to feel water build up in his trunk. He took his position and pointed his turbines at the fireball, the turbines Blasted what would equate to a high class hurricane cone of air at the Fireball. To ensure that the attack would not only negate the attack but keep going he let loose a jet of pressureized water from his trunk which mingled with the cones of air to go hurdleing not only for the fireball but for Danu and Tarukae as well.

Danu used his enhanced speed to grab Tarukae and dodge the attack. Tarukae laughed manically.

"You missed!" Tarukae laughed. "Now then let us try our next trick!" Tarukae laughed as he sliced another card. Danu began to grow white angel wings, a bow appeared in his hand, and a quiver with three arrows appeared on his back. Danu put the bow on his back, to save for later. Danu then started to fly in the air. When he finally got a little bit above Tyerel, he charged his horns down into Tyerel's back, allowing gravity to help his attack.

Tyerel stoped his turbines and leaped forward trying to get Away fro mDanu as he tried to impale him. He swiveled his turbines behind him and shot another Nitro Turbine Wave behind him to propel him forward and shoot wind back at the Greymon.

Sean smiled to himself as he ran forward to catch up with Tyerel, at this rate Tyerel would wipe out his own digimon before Sean and Tyerel could land another blow. Sean swiveled and said "that was a close one, gotta be faster old chum."

Danu was now aiming towards the ground. He hit the ground, his helmet cracking a little as he did. Danu roared out in pain, as he took out his bow and arrow. He shot all three arrows, one towards his enemy, one to the left, and one to the right. Danu was hoping the attack hit.

"Finish it soon, Danu," Tarukae ordered boldly.

Tyerel wheeled around to face the oncoming arrows he shot another Nytro Turbine Wave to deflect one of the arrows but was unable to stop the other two. One grazed his side drawing a thine line of blood which made Tyerel wince in pain. The second bounced off his shoulder leaving a Fis shaped dent in Tyerels armor. He leaped into the air his tubines propelling him into his home environment.

Sean shook his head at Tarukae's order, he then turned to adress Danu "doesnt sound like he treats you as much of an equal mate, is he regularly like this?"

"Master treats me well, I will do anything for him. Do you and your digimon have that kind of bond?! Do you want him to maximize his ability, like master does for me?!" Danu replied to Sean angrily.

"Danu, don't get too angry. Anger can bring strength but can make you vulnerable," Tarukae said to Danu. Even though he couldn't control his anger, he knew Danu had the potential to.

"Yes, master," Danu replied as he took a deep breath, calming his senses. Danu then focused a burning fire in his mouth and shot it at Tyerel. The flames were hot, but they were calm, unlike when he was angry. The flame was almost in a complete ball shape.

Tyerel swerved around the fireball, in the air he was more manuverable then on land. He shot two tusk missiles aiming to spread the blast radius's apart, he sent one aiming for in front of Danu and one aiming behind him. Teyrel had a firce determination in his eyes, he lost to a silver renamon in the compition and he would not lose here!

Sean shook his head at Danu, "of course I want him to grow, if I didnt I wouldent be his freind now would I? but I let him do it at his pace and i dont force him to call me master" Sean said now turning to Tarukae. He folded his arms and asked in somewhat of an irish brouge "Now why do yuh force im to call ye master nuh?"

"I don't force him to do anything. I just push him to make him grow, he chose to call me master," Tarukae replied calmly. "Two of the cards I used are about to stop working, Danu!"

Danu jumped up in the air as he heard the words. He used the added strength of the cards to do it. Then he used the air from the explosion to send him even higher. Danu got a little lower than Tyerel's level and shot a blast of fire. This blast was a little untamed so it would hit a big area.

Tyerel swerved one of his turbines forwards to avoid the flame so hed spin over and around it. As he swerved and was directly above it though the sure heat of the Fireball felt like a furnace to him making him shut his eyes and the metal on his back heat up. this made him scream with pain and actually fall behing the fire wich licked at more of his metal back. he fell aways trying to let the pain simmer down and he recovered, he was hurt that much was known but. after he had survived an attack like that he thanked Sean and his cards. He again shot two missiles at Danu, spacing them out so that this time one missile would blow underneath him and the other would try to hit him in mid air.

Sean still stood away fro mTarukae with arms folded, he once again adressed Danu, this time giving off a cheery irishman "so out of general curiosity why do ye call him master?"

Danu was hit by the bottom missile as he went down towards the ground. A giant explosion was seen. When Danu hit the ground, smoke cleared and you could see his body was partially burnt from the explosion, with black spots. Tarukae took out a card and sliced it. With that part of Danu's wounds healed.

"I call him master, because he is that to me. I am like his guard, his samurai, his knight. Shouldn't those people, treat their master with respect?" Danu replied with his own question.

"What about you? You are very quiet, how do you feel about your relationship with your tamer?" Tarukae asked Tyerel.

Danu of course still realized he was in a fight and focused another flame in his mouth, and shot it at Tyerel. Danu was running out of energy, but he had to prove himself.
