Can I know what exactly I can and can't do and if there is a certain amount of words I must put into it?

Yes, it can be solo. In fact, most of the mentalventures alrady posted are solos.

As for allowances and content, pretty much anything allowed in a normal solo is acceptable. Minor NPC controlling is also allowed so long as the NPC isn't gonna reoccur anywhere. Just ask if there is anything specific you'd like to ask about that wasn't made clear here.

Definitely can be a solo. If you want some examples, you could try poking around on the site ^^

EDIT: Can someone point me in the direction of a good solo? I tried looking but the ones I found didn't seem to be exactly solos or didn't end, maybe.

You can take a look at mine. It's a solo that was finished. Lots of reading, but it got the job done.

Solos are more about discovering your character, I think. So, I put Mina in certain situations--just like the character, Neko--where they discover feelings or truths that they're previously unfamiliar with. I think it came out great! Except...now I'm tired of doing solos. xD

There's a very large mistake in word-choice on my part. I just noticed it when I re-read it ... definitely not one of the things I want to do (but still does).

This would be Koen's mentalventure. I guess I can look back now, and go: "What!? I could write like that before?"

Wow. I have a lot of reading to do! Thank you for all who contributed by posting their own mentalventures.

I am, actually, planning to write a solo for Noah's mentalventure as well. It just felt right to do it. Except the fact that not only I haven't started, I haven't decided which virtue I want Noah to have. XD I'll start reading some of these right away! I really need some ideas, so... Heh.
