History:

Adriel Krane has possibly one of the most interesting, depressing, and rattling lives. Adriel prefers to call his story “a legend”, whenever he tells the tale. Whether it’s the story of his entrance to the digital world, his life as one of the few tamers, or how he ended up in another digital world, which was actually the real digital world all along. Either way, his tale always grabs the listener’s attention, even if it is a little touched up here and there.

Adriel began his life in Dublin, Ireland. He didn’t know much family, nor did he really have one. His mother died in childbirth, and he never knew if his father was ever really a father. As a baby, he was sent to an orphanage. He stayed there for a few months and was then adopted by another family.

His foster family consisted of a father and mother. No other brothers or sisters, just Adriel, his foster father, and his foster mother. The boy grew up not knowing he was adopted. It was naturally assumed that these two people were his father and mother.

Years and years passed, and over time, Adriel’s foster family confronted him about his true reason why he was with them. He learned his mother died in childbirth and his father was never identified. His identity lied with his dead mother, so it was nearly impossible to find him. However, this wouldn’t stop the eleven-year old Adriel.

Adriel constantly wished to know whom his father was, and be able to talk to him for one single time. His foster family repeatedly told him that no matter what, he was their son now. And no matter how hard Adriel strived to believe that he had another family somewhere, his true family lied within his foster family, and it would take life itself for Adriel to acknowledge it.

Almost week before Adriel’s fifteenth birthday, Adriel Krane was once more left empty. His two foster parents were victims of murder. Adriel couldn’t explain it, and once more the sting of loneliness shot up his spine. And once more, Adriel Krane was an orphan. At least, in his opinion. In mattered not to him whether his father was living or not, he didn’t care.

On the night of his fifteenth birthday, he sat alone at a computer chair. His head down, quietly sobbing to himself. He felt deserted, empty, unwanted. It wasn’t fair for him to have this life, there had to be something more. The only phrase that ran through his mind was:

Give me a second chance.

The computer that was in front of him shut off what it was doing and a black screen showed up. Adriel glanced up to look. In blinking green text, it wrote:

CODE
Welcome to the Digital World.

All Adriel Krane could remember was a bright light, or really, his door to his second chance.

It seemed like days had passed once Adriel awoke in a forest. He was caught in the midst of a battle, it seemed. He was half-awake and half-asleep, but he prefers to tell this part of the story by saying he was caught in the middle of a very fierce battle, between digimon rebels and dark forces, under the order of Insomnia.

Blasts tore down trees, attacks hummed past Adriel, by mere luck of the Irish that they didn’t hit him. Still dizzy, Adriel found the strength inside of him to stand up, where he was then struck down by a digimon. This digimon, a Strabimon species, quickly informed him of the current situation, and was quickly escorted back to a base.

Inside the base, known as Draconis Hollow, was home to the Valor Alliance. After a long discussion, Adriel was quickly informed of where he was, what he was to them, and the current situation of the “Digital World.”

To the Valor Alliance, Adriel was much more than a tamer. He was the only human to enter the digital world, aside from Insomnia. According to the group of digimon, Adriel was destined to become the savior of the Digital World. Only if he obliged to the Valor Alliance’s code. To the group’s advantage, he did, and they immediately began training, under the same Strabimon that saved him in the prior battle in the forest.

Septimus, the Strabimon, trained Adriel vigorously. He taught him how to fight with bare hands, a sword, and using basic items like sticks to defend himself. The Alliance didn’t know what Adriel’s importance was to them, but they continued to train and house him. If Insomnia were able to come to the digital world and conjure an army so strong that she could rule the world, Adriel had to have something that could give the Alliance an edge.

A year passed in the digital world and Adriel’s presence was kept secret. His relationship with Septimus grew to a brotherly bond. Adriel’s first mission was with Septimus and two other strong digimon. Adriel wasn’t exactly sure what they were looking for since no one bothered to tell him.

As the four arrived at their destination, they were quickly ambushed by some of Insomnia’s followers. The two digimon escorting Septimus and Adriel were quickly killed, leaving Adriel and Septimus. The Strabimon managed to hold the ground for a while, but was quickly overwhelmed. Adriel was useless against the digimon, and all seemed lost.

In a sequence of events, Adriel ran up to a wounded Septimus. As the enemy digimon approached and readied their attacks, Adriel put his body up as a shield. As the digimon attacked, Adriel and Septimus’ bodies melded together to form one. The outcome was a digimon, much stronger than the attackers.

Adriel quickly adapted to the change, and with Septimus’ help, the two disposed of the attacker. However, in the turn of events, the item Adriel and his group had come to for in the first place was taken by other digimon, under the same allegiance as the others.

In the same digimon form of Metal Garurumon X, Adriel and Septimus reported the attack to the Valor Alliance. They took harsh note of it, regretting that they didn’t plan properly. However, they were in awe of Adriel and Septimus’ joined form of Metal Garurumon X. They believed this would be the digimon to stop Ogre, and bring balance once more to the digital world.

Another year passed by and the battles of Insomnia and the rebels. Adriel and Septimus secretly perfected their matrix form. Adriel was now seventeen years old and felt content with himself and Septimus to face Ogre.

A few days after Adriel’s seventeenth birthday, Insomnia located the Valor Alliance’s base and ordered a full attack. Ogre led the massive assault on the base. Even when Adriel and Septimus joined together, their conjoined form was not enough to stop Ogre’s destruction of the base, ultimately ending in Adriel’s escape…
