Title: Furunii Vs. Ayanna
Description: Blueberry Round 2

When you win a battle by default, is it really winning? Drak looked into his hand, as though the creases from 18 years of use held an answer. It was round 2 of the tourney, and still Drak had only technically had 1 battle. He rubbed his hands together. He had no knowledge of battle, of tactics, and very little of digimon, besides the brightly-animated attacks shown on the anime. Of course Ayanna, a bright and perhaps wise Palmon smiled at his partner. She knew by now he had the oddest way of getting bent out of shape by the stupidest thing. Maybe she would need to lift him up and carry him around the building again. He seemed to get a kick out of that.
“Ayanna… let’s… let’s do this. I mean, seriously. Like, I mean, like.” Drak sighed. How could he articulate what he was thinking? No matter what happened, he would still be proud? That they’d still be partners? To try all she could?
“Tamer boy speaks worse than Ayanna when under fight-fight pressure.” Ayanna said, with a slight giggle. Why worry? If they lost, they lost. And she would still get honor, which to her, was more important than becoming a gigantic cactus faster than another Palmon.
Drak entered the cold, metallic doors. The whole digi-world seemed to be comprised of nothing but metal buildings. Depsite being made out of data, like the living beings in the world, the buildings were stony, and cold and it almost felt as if nothing in the world could survive. Then there were the crowds of digimon watching the sight. The ring in the center, with a beam of sunlight shining down upon it. Drak put a hand lightly on Ayanna’s flower head, and awaited his opponent patiently, only shivering a little.

"Um, sorry I'm late," an androgynous figure said, pushing open the door with her right hand, the other clicking off the music player she had been hearing to. A small Pokomon was on her shoulder, tail curled around her and upon his face was the most contented look ever. "Hi there," Koen said cheerfully, bowing awkwardly and ruffling her hair slightly, a habit of her. She smiled at Drak and then at Ayanna; Furunii simply smiled weakly at the plant he was supposed to face. "So you're my opponents," the girl stated as if that wasn't obvious.
Furunii cleared his throat. "That's obvious," he stated calmly, before taking his leave from his high perch. Upon landing, he flashed a confident smile at the Palmon. "Hey," said the fox as he waved his front right paw, then jabbing it at his chest, "you are?" The Pokomon inquired the foe's name without giving his own; it seemed that he had forgotten his manners. His smile morphed into a grin, and the fox nodded. Furunii then spun around right where he was standing, mouth muttering some terms and the likes.
There where a Pokomon once resided was a Renamon, clawed paw rubbing his forehead. "Alright!" he said with a confident smirk, "Bring it on!" The Renamon shone Koen a thumbs up, where the Tamer responded with a nod. The fox then glanced at the crowds in the stands. Some seemed impatient to see the battle begin, while a fraction was patient and calm, the remaining ones...well, either they were busy with their own things or they were occupied with their own cheering.

“Ah, no problem,” Drak began when he heard the entrance of his soon-to-be opponent. Then he looked up and suppressed a small gasp. The girl was about 6 years younger than himself! He was going against a little girl? Then Drak remembered the anime series. Of course, tamers were usually in their young teens. Showed how immature Drak was. He shook his head to remove those thoughts. Battle time! “Hi. Well, yeah we’ll be facing you. I hope we have a good match,” Drak shouted across the ring, watching the small Pokomon wearily.
Ayanna smiled at the furred creature that hopped up to her. Why was she facing an in-training digimon. She looked to her tamer, who seemed to know something she didn’t something shot through her, an idea, one she couldn’t identify. Relax, it told her. When she turned back to the enemy digimon, and found that the slightly rude Pokomon had evolved into Renamon.
“Am I? The name I hold to myself would be Ayanna, which possesses the meaning of being a beautiful flower. A fight shall be fun, a fight shall be honorable, fox-mon.” Ayanna gave ‘fox-mon’ a small bow, before walking a few paces. “I am to attack, prepare.” Ayanna closed her eyes for a split second, before shooting her arms in front of her. Her leafy fingernails expanded into long vines. The six vines shot towards Furunii. “Poison Ivy!”

"What? I got something on my nose?" Furunii asked Koen as he felt the effects of Drak's gaze. The young fox rubbed his nose a few times to ensure it was squeaky clean. "Um, nope, everything's in working order," he stated with a grin. "May the best fighter win..." said the Renamon slowly, considering his chances against a female opponent. I shouldn't attack a female, it's wrong! But then again...okay, okay! His mind was swirling around with random thoughts, and it seemed that he was picking them out as his pleasure. Actually, the 'okay, okay' response what the decision to eat a picnic meal instead of in the Grill down-town.
Furunii's lower left eye throbbed. He wondered what it meant, and then, he remembered what Koen had once told him: left means bad, right means good. Oh crap, the fox thought with a sigh. Wonderful luck you've got, eh, Furunii? The Renamon then smiled slowly at Ayanna, saying, "I'm Furunii, with some complicated meaning I can't remember right now," said the Renamon with a grin as he looked down to see the Palmon. Inwardly, he shuddered at the terming that Ayanna had gave him; somehow or rather Furunii could never see himself as a fox-mon despite knowing that he himself was a fox.
"Um, you're quick," complimented Koen's partner as his opponent's nails lengthened, forming into some sort of vine. As soon as he heard the attack's name being bellowed, he knew he did not want to get hit by this strike unless he wanted to spend the whole day scratching the itchy-ness to hell and back. He bent his legs downwards before jumping up into the air to increase the potential height, and placed his arms in an X-formation. "Koyousetsu!" cried Furunii as he created shards of diamond leaves around him, before sending them towards the ivy to try and slice them.
Of course, there was the landing to worry about. A sweatdrop emerged on the partner's face as he began falling; either he was going to crash into Ayanna, or he was going to get a faceful of poison ivy. Neither choice seemed like a good one, actually. Noticing the fact that the fox was in trouble, Koen hurriedly ran a card through her D-Ban. "Card Slash, Musical Rhythm!" announced the girl as background music, a break-dance one, began booming out of nowhere.
-------
Name: Musical Rhythm
Number: U45
Type: State
Duration: 1 Turn
Effect: Background music comes out of nowhere, causing the user's Digimon to dance, enabling it to dodge every attack from the opponent.
-------
Furunii began dancing. Dance he did, and somehow he landed away from the vines and from Ayanna, spinning on his head with a grin on his face. It was going to hurt...

“DRAKKIE!” Palmon screamed. Ayanna was close to hitting fox-mon, until with, er, fox-like reflexes the vulpine digimon leaped into the air, and began his own attack. Shards of ice suddenly appeared around the leaping Renamon, and Ayanna opened her eyes wide.
“Oh SHI-“ Ayanna said. The shards of ice were heading right for her vines, the equivalent to human nails, of perhaps X-men’s Wolverine’s nails. This wouldn’t be just like breaking a nail, if her vines were snapped it would hurt like hell.
“DRAKKIE, DO NOW SOMETHING OR AYANNA GOING TO SNIP SNAP!” Ayanna screamed once more. Her vines took time to retract, so a moment of hesitation could result in extreme pain.
Time to think of something, and quick. Unfortunately, Ayannna’s shrill voice caused Drak to pull the first card from his deck. It was better than nothing.
“CARD SLASH! … BOMB!”
Two Bombs appeared in Ayanna’s Vines, which were coming towards her faster and faster. What was Drak thinking? Ayanna tried to swing her vines towards her opponent. But it wouldn’t matter because the crystals would hit before… or was that the plan? The crystals suddenly impacted upon the bombs, causing two large explosions, blasting Ayanna suddenly backwards, and into a wall. She was breathing heavily, but still had some will to fight.
OOC:
Name: Bomb
Number: C50
Type: Weapon
Duration: Remainder of the battle
Effect: The user's Digimon gains two bombs to attack with. They explode on contact, damaging everything in a blast radius of about fifty feet, and causing ten points of damage each to any opponent Digimon within that radius.

And thus, break dancing nearly caused a fox to break his neck as the the force of the bomb launched him towards the wall, slamming his back against it. He shook his head, droplets of fluid flinging all over. Not even he wanted to know what it was. "Beautiful flower, I feel that you're no longer beautiful," the Renamon said with a smile, and looking at the Palmon.
"Koyousetsu!" A rain of shards came from the ceiling (presumably, as there was no sky available) and hailed down upon the Palmon who was breathing rather heavily. The Renamon engaged his invisibility, before dashing towards Ayanna, and stretching out a flaming fist (but still invisible) and punching her. A voice shouted, not where Furunii was, but where he was standing before, "Touhakken!" What was standing there was presumably a clone.
With all these lavish moves, one could only wonder what Furunii had in mind as he executed it. Koenjinn glanced ahead worriedly as Furunii stood there, and calling out an attack name. Was he really alright? He could only state the name, but not execute the attack...plus, his breathing was heavier than normal, and the slam against the wall wasn't exactly a weak one.
"Are you alright?" she asked, the question directed at both Digimon rather than only her own. "You don't look well," Koen said, before rummaging around in her card deck to find something to aid her partner. "Card Slash!" she stated, not bothering to notice whatever card she had in hand. Only when the effects activated did she knew what it was. "...Bomb." Oh, crap, why this? she thought.

And then there was a blast of debris and a spray of sparks, thanks to Furunii the clone.
