Since I was a wee girl, I’ve dreamed of owning a 100x500 signature banner that shows off my Digimon’s evolutionary line decorated with a splash of cool text, without being overly garish or flashy.
Thanks to Riley, that dream became a reality as soon as he opened his signature shop for business. Sadly, policies of his that have been instated since then prevent my second – but in no way secondary – Tamer, Julien, from having a graphic of his Digimon in the same format.
But now that I finally figured out how to blur stuff on Paint Shop Pro 8 and have an ImageShack account, I no longer am restricted to mooching off of other, more talented sig makers...
...and have decided, since these are relatively easy to make and I enjoy creating them, why shouldn’t anyone else who wants one have one, too?


Now, the rules (well, to quote Jack Sparrow, they’re more like guidelines really) are as follows:

• All signatures requested here are to follow the same format as the example displayed in my own signature (below): four to six of the Digimon’s evolutionary stages from weakest to strongest, each on a 100x100 image, pasted together to form one Landscape banner, with slight blurring/softening between each Digimon picture and some coloured, effect-enhanced text in the top left and bottom right corners.
• However, that does NOT require you to slavishly follow my example. If you desire you may swap out the Child-Adult-Perfect-Ultimate-Matrix arrangement I favour for BabyII-Child-Armor-Adult-Perfect, BabyI-BabyII-Child-Adult-Perfect, BabyII-Child-Adult-Perfect-Matrix. If you have multiple Digimon partners, how about Child-Adult-Spirit-Adult-Child? As they say, your imagination is the only limit. Oh, and there being images of your desired Digimon in existence.
• Also feel free to specify what degree of blurring between images you require, if you want me to adjust the brightness/contrast settings on one or more of the 100x100 images, and most crucially: what text you desire, in what typeface, size and colour, and with what if any special effects (inner bevel, lighten/darken brush, Art Media effects such as charcoal, emboss, shadow, or anything you can name that PSP8 can accomplish). Or how about no blurring at all, or Motion Blur but no text? The Matrix form darkened beyond recognition, a la Tamers OP1? I really must emphasise: throw together any number of effects or settings you wish, it’s all up to you. All I’ll do is throw it together.

Please keep in mind, however, that I’m a mere amateur when it comes to graphics: there are many popular effects that are far, far beyond my ken, like putting several transparent Digimon images together on a background of your choice, or making text “glow.” If that’s the kinda thing you’re after, you’ll definitely be better off asking Lucas or Riley for a sig instead of my inexperienced, untalented self. I’m only here as a last resort in case you want an image of a whole evo line but don’t have the means to make/host one yourself. :P


A few terms and conditions that MUST be adhered to at all times, lest you be barbequed by a beastly Boarmon:

• If you are dissatisfied with the initial result, you are welcome to request any changes you want made to it, and I will revise your banner up to twice
• The default size for banners is 100 pixels in height and 500 in width, but the resulting image must measure no more than 200x600 pixels
• In accordance with both ImageShack and InvisionFree/Digital Dreams policies, the resulting file must be no larger than 1.5 MB in size – if it is, I WILL resize it at the expense of quality and/or dimensions without warning
• It is STRONGLY recommended, but not compulsory, that you link to the specific images you want
• It is STRONGLY recommended, but not compulsory, that you save and upload the image to your own server (if you have one) once you are satisfied with it (in which case I will delete it from my own ImageShack account to conserve space)
• Please be aware that the resulting file is highly unlikely to look exactly like what you had in mind, or even what you described – I can’t stress that enough. If your request is too advanced a feat for either me or PSP8 to handle, I will create the closest thing I can to your specifications, which again is unlikely to resemble what you were actually after.
• I reserve the right to add to/edit/take away from these rules without warning, so please check them regularly.

I’m sorry, but when I tried putting size 12 text on there, it came out completely unreadable (I find text sizes often seem smaller on images than on webpages/documents), so that's size 24 text you see in the top corner and 26 in the bottom corner. In addition, I hope you won’t object to me replacing the supplied Fairymon picture with one I thought would look better as a centre image (don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m guessing you only picked that one because it was the only one of Fairymon you could find at the Card Terminal).
If you notice any other artistic licenses I took and you would rather I hadn’t, just let me know – I’d be happy to revise and re-upload the image.
This image is in PNG format, but I have JPEG and GIF versions saved as well and will upload them to ImageShack on request. It would be greatly appreciated if you could save this image to your own server space (assuming you have some), but it’s not compulsory.

These are rough/working models of your banner that you may request additions to (or subtractions from) if you wish – as soon as Aqua confirms her satisfaction. I, erm... decided to replace Beelzebumon with Armagemon because a) he rocks and b) I didn’t particularly like the way two Beelzebumon next to each other looked... sorry. However, I also threw in a complementary Mega-Mega-FSpirit-Mega-Mega sig just in case it’s more to your liking.
Again, both of these are just rough drafts; request alterations to your heart’s content.

All three of these actually took about an hour each to make. The only reason they took so long to grace your vision orbs is because of my college's fucked-up policies on internet use. XP

I love this! This turned out way better than I was hoping it would. It's alright about the text, it looks fine to me. It actually looks better this way and everyone will be able to see and read it.

As for the liberties (I've noticed two so far) I love them as well. Having Lexi's crest symbol in the middle of the sig is a nice touch, not to mention the image of Fairymon. (And yeah, the image I found was from Card Terminal, it was the only one I could find)

I sincerely like the first sig (the one with my Matrix forms and Armageddemon), and I like the particular pictures you used for them.

The only changed I can think of are to perhaps clear up the Imperialdramon FM pic so it looks more like a Digimon instead of a Transformer (sorry if that seemed rude, and no offence towards Transformers ^^).

I would also like the words of Zander's catch phrase on there (Change is temporary, but corruption lasts forever" across the top-left and bottom-right. Perhaps red coloring would do nicely for it, but whatever you choose.

I wasn't 100% sure what you meant by "more like a Digimon instead of a Transformer," but I assumed it had something to do with the fact that I originally used a Toei image (from a CD cover) rather than a Bandai one (from a card). Also: once again I messed with your specifications for the text in order to avoid obscuring HighAndromon and Beelzebumon's faces, and decided to try the Crest idea again, only this time I had to dramatically downsize it to fit in Armagemon's mouth ^_^;;
I'm also afraid I'll be forever cursed with hard-to-read text... >_<

The sig as a whole doesn't look as good as it could because I was rushing: I wanted to get it online before I left tomorrow, lest I force you to wait two weeks. This is take one, and I'll do up to three takes, so if you want anything changed, please don't be shy about telling me!

Hmm... where to start.

Well I like the new Imperialdramon pic and the crest idea. I also like the way you put the wording.

I just have one thing I could ask of this to be changed. Do you think the background for the Beelzemon and Armagemon pics could be set for them all? I just think it's a little odd that some of the pics look a little lighter (in alignment, not color ^^) then the rest.

I would also like to see what the crest would look like in a dark shade of purple in contrast to that blue, but that isn't really a concern. The current color fits well to the theme.

But overall the sig is nice, even if rushed. I like the idea of Armageddemon being there more and more now that I realize that he is the fusion of all of the Digimon around him (not including the tamer joined with those Digimon currently of course).

I had a post ready, but when I clicked Add Reply, the fucker went "Internet Explorer cannot display this page." So let's just say my graphic making skills suck too much to pull off your "refined" request (or I'm too dumb/tired/depressed to know what you were really talking about), but once they don't suck so much, I'll get back to you on it.

I have more than 2.4 to go, as I don't have my other two partners yet and I will have to get them both up to Jogressing level as well. I have, however, invisioned Zander the way you have, but I have kept going to many more ideas about a rampaging Armagemon and an insane Beelzebumon destroying entire areas. I suppose an Armagemon made up of two Jogress Digimon (four Digimon total) will be significantly stronger than a Jogress of two Digimon and even more powerful then a single Digimon's Mega form or Matrix form.

Since you said you were unsure about what text you wanted, I decided to just make and upload a rough version that I'll revise as soon as you've decided what text (I'm reluctant to do a textless final version, I'm afraid... >< looks too plain for my liking).

I'm sorry I couldn't find a better Owlmon image (we know Bandai of Japan really don't like owls), but... I found that Lilamon one and dubbed it too cute not to use.

The Crest thing is looking like it might become a standard for my sig requests as song as the symbol is available online... but man, this one looks UG-LEE. Sorry :<=(: I'll almost definately have to completely re-do the symbol of Love when you decide on text, typeface, color, size and whathaveyou.

Thanks. ^^ It actually took me a while to think up that layout and then I had to wait for an opening. And your reaction makes me glad that I kept Lilamon instead of changing it to Antiramon. XD;; Although I do hate to disappoint, she will be my last partner actually since I have plans already for meeting up with the Imperialdramon that ties into my Crest. I only kept it that way cause Lilamon looks better than Paildramon and Rosemon.

And the card you chose was fine; there are way too many Lilamon cards on that site X.X

And the Owlmon image is okay.

And I've finally decided on some text. It's simple, if not a little corny, but I think it might fit Laiko and her partners well: "What was once lost," in the upper left corner, and "Is now found" in the bottom right. You may use whatever colour you believe fits best along with some nice font. I thought that orange or a dark red might fit, but it probably won't with the d'Arcmon in the background of the Crest.

Other than that I have no objections to the sig except maybe to tone down the fading just a little bit. ^^;;;

Bad news for fans of SK's graphics (yeah right): yesterday something went very, very, very seriously and inexplicably wrong with the laptop of this kooky British moderator, who has suddenly developed a penchant for referring to herself in the third person. The consequence of this is that the Blue Screen of Doom appears every time it is in the middle of BOOTING UP (of all things), necessitating a reboot which in turn leads to another Blue Screen of Doom, and so it goes on in a continuous loop, preventing the infernal machine from being actually used AT ALL.

Currently Schmegkopf is residing in a boarding house two hours' drive away from her true home - which, unfortunately for Fraulein Min and Senhorita Ryuha, means no Paint Shop Pro 8 WHATSOEVER. Internet access, and therefore posts, yes... but no graphics AT ALL, much less uploads of them. Oh dear.

The father of the one who calls herself Schmegkopf is currently attempting to rectify the issue with her laptop, which is awaiting her return home this coming Thursday, but Schmegkopf assumes this will not be easy, and the worst case scenario will most definately be a permenant total shutdown of said laptop (...which is insured, so hopefully replacing it should be relatively easy if worse comes to worse). Luckily, Schmegkopf's father has not only a talant, but a penchant for fixing buggy computers, so it is quite likely it will not come to that.

Schmegkopf will have access to a computer with PSP8 on it between (her) (approx) 8PM this Thursday and (again, her) 6PM this Sunday. During that time she will do all the work she can on Laiko and Ryuha's respective signature banner requests (thank heaven for the Card Terminal is all Schmegkopf can say - without it she would certainly not have the images needed to complete either request) and upload them to ImageShack.

As Schmegkopf's way of apologizing for this inconvinence: once Laiko and Ryuha are both satisfied with their signature banners, her admittedly ill-thought-out "only one request at a time" rule will be rendered void and null. We at the Schmegkopf/GH cooperation again apologise for this gross inconvineince and ask you to bear with us during this difficult time - regular service is expected to resume sometime on Thursday.

As if it wasn't obvious, Schmegkopf is already becoming delierious from lack of laptop..............................

This is what will hopefully be the final version, but if you're unsatisfied with the text, I'll redo it. I decided to go with blue for the font and Crest colour: to balance out all the yellow, red and green on the sig itself, as well as to reflect the Crest/Digimental of Love's connection with the element of Air. (That's the cool thing about having a character with the Digimental of Love: ALL his or her partners will automatically have flying forms :¦D:)

O-kaaay, this one has some REALLY fugly text on it - the Ryuha side is too small and the Tsuki side is too thin, and a bunch of other flaws I'm certain you'll pick out. This piece of shite is really just a preview of what's to come: completely redoing the text, the Ryuha side at least, is DEFINATELY on my to-do list.

Kichou: Since I hardly ever object to having extra ways to kill time, and I did say the "one order at a time" rule would be voided once Lai's and Ryuha's were done, you might as well go ahead and make your request now so I can work on it in my own time alongside refining Ryuha's.

Looks great SK-san! And you're pretty right about the blue, it fits well to contrast the rest of the sig.

This signature shop is officially closing its doors until InfoSeek (the webserver that hosts the large images on the Digimon Card Album) recovers from its recent downtime. If it ever does.

Work on Ryuha, Sora and Kichou's requests will continue nonetheless, as soon as I have access to a computer with Paint Shop Pro (on Thursday). But if this problem with InfoSeek turns out to be permenant (and considering how long it's persisted for, that may well be the case), this signature shop may be forced to permenantly go out of business due to unforeseen circumstances.

I'm just sick and tired of knowing exactly where to find the materials I need to complete my request, but not being able to access them.

Beside that, the text itself makes little to no sense to me whether it's "supremes" or "supreme," but I'm certain that's down to me not knowing who or what "Excelsior" is. :^,^: Have whatever text you like; it's your sig not mine. I'm just sayin' it left me scratching my head.

My mistake. Supreme, it is. Excelsior means greatness.

I made two versions of your sig: one with the text as you requested it, and another, more grammatically correct version. You'll notice minor differences in the shading, too, if you look closely. Which one you decide to use is up to you.

barren's request was a special exception made via PM, and if you have one that uses entirely non-InfoSeek pictures, feel free to send it to me. If I get enough special requests, I may decide to open up shop again and change my primary source of images to the Card Terminal (just felt like mentioning that this is also a great untapped resource for Digimon images, though it's entirely in Hungarian), but only if demand becomes great enough.

Good news, everyone!

InfoSeek is still inert, but as it turns out, 99.9% of the cards that were hosted on the Digimon Card album are also hosted at The Nexxus.

Go here for Boosters or here for Starters, and replace the card number with that of the one you want (for a guide to which Digimon has which card number, try Wikimon or, better yet, Megchan's Digimon Encylopedia) for a wealth of source material from which to create signature graphics. :=):

But that's only the tip of the iceberg!

Since this signature shop's closing, the Card Terminal has added a HUGE number of new high-quality scans to its selection.
