“Hey Zoë, are humans’ legs supposed to twitch uncontrollably when they’re excited?” enquired the Gabumon, staring at the nervous twitch in his Tamer's left leg.
"Ah... some do," she replied. "But you're one to speak - look at that tail of yours!"
"You have a point there," sighed Macio as he subsided the wiggling of his long, thick tail. "But I assumed that jerking an appendage was the proper thing to do in human soceity..."
"Technically there's no "right" thing to do with humans - well, if there is, I've never learned to do it!" Zoë laughed to herself. "In any case, you're obviously no human - just enjoy your first proper adventure, and I'll do the same."
"YES, Master!!" Macio said in a delibarately over-enthusiastic, comical voice. This was rewarded with a short, sharp chuckle from Zoë as she paid the fee: one human and one Digimon ticket to the Grassy Plains.

"You know what this reminds me of?" Zoë asked out of the blue once the pair had boarded the Angler Trailmon. "The very first day I came to this world, and I was so nervous sitting there inside a train-monster with no idea what'd become of me once I got off - but during a breif stop, I picked up an egg which made me feel like everything would be okay once I held in my hands-"
"That egg was me, right?" said Macio knowingly. Zoë gave a sigh almost of regret at having a partner too smart to appricate sentimental crap - but she knew she wouldn't have traded that partner for all the soda in the world.
"Would you like the whole story on how I ended up as your Tamer?" she offered. Gabumon edged just a little closer to her with perked-up ears, indictating a yes - and the chatter continued all the time Trailmon sped down the rail leading to adventure.
