Photoshop- Better image Quality, how to make poopy images better

Okay today im gonna show you how to make a pictue have better image quality with photoshop XD first choose an image for example

this pictue of boa

then go to your layer window and duplicate the picture like so


then go to the layer witht he red x above it and then go to filter>gaussian blur
and set it @ about 1.7
you should have this

the put the gaussian blur image on mode>overlay

and there you have it better image quality this should be your final product>>

but if the image turns out to bright put it on soft light
