Kobalt walked thru the eastern parts of the sacred forest. He liked it best when he was alone in the forest. He loved the solitude. The animals. The trees. The air. He loved it all but mostly he liked it because it was one of the few places of Dailor that hadn't been tainted by humans. He was perhaps the only one who had mapped every detail of the forest. However in recent years, he had discovered the western parts as well as the north had been tainted, Not by humans, but by a black art.

After an hour of walking he entered the western parts. he looked around. The white oak trees had faded into a blackish grey limbing tree. the air was thick with toxins and would kill an ordinary human within twenty minutes of brething it. Farther in to the forest a swamp had developed. The soil was dust dust. in fact the entire part of the forest had gone to hell. It was a disturbing sight to behold for what was once beautiful and sacred had turned to morbid and dark.

Kobalt heard a rustleing noise behind him. it couldn't have possibly been an animal for any animal that would have been in here would have died just by inaling the air's rotten stench. No, it had to be either a dark being or a foolish man that is dying. Without hesatation Kobalt summoned his Solna stff and pointed it behind him etting off his demonic aura.

Kobalt ran his fingers thru his hair and said firmly "who are you?"
