No, because religion is easily proven false.
I don't know about mormons, but I have a certain bitterness to JW's because I know a guy who used to be deeply into the religion. He then started to doubt his religion (he hadn't even converted), his church found out and interrogated (yes, interrogated) him and was marked an enemy of the church and of God. His wife left him and he lost his house. Well, he certainly isn't a JW now. So how can one go and say God is great and loving? How can one say all the good things of God and religion when it destroyed a man's life in a time of doubt, instead of trying to help him?
I use "help him" as a very loose term here. I think life without religion is best, but as priests and believers in their God, Instead of shunning and destroying him, they should have tried to reaffirm his faith. For that's their supposed duty.
