Mikey Palmice was a Mafia consigliere to Uncle Junior. He was Corrado "Junior" Soprano's main trigger man and he was almost always beside him. He was a major character in the first season. He wanted to take care of any opposition to Junior, including Tony Soprano and Christopher Moltisanti in order to help Junior get recognized as the boss. He helped Uncle Junior obtain the seat of boss. He works alongside Chucky Signore, another of Junior's top cronies. Mikey informs Junior to take care of business and not allow anyone to step over him. He whacks Brendan Filone while Junior watches, triggering a war between Junior and Tony, resulting in Junior taking the seat as boss. Mikey is beaten by Tony because of the hit. Mikey later plans to get rid of Tony Soprano in order to make himself a more respectable made man, although things don't fly his way when Tony finds out that there's a hit on his head.
Uncle Junior originally had set the order in motion, but it didn't work out, since Tony was able to survive the assassination attempt and even kill one of his assailants in self defense. Tony later decided to get rid of both Chucky and Mikey in order to cut Junior's ability of attempting another hit on him. Tony shot Chucky himself and Mikey Palmice was killed after being chased by Chris and Paulie. Mikey tried to blame it all on Uncle Junior, even Brendan's death. But Chris made it well known. "My friend Brendan, you shot him in his bathtub naked, no way to run." And with that, Paulie and Chris let loose a ton of bullets, piercing Mikey's body and leaving him dead in a puddle in the middle of the woods.
