today is the day he transforms. the episode title for the uncut version is "Zarbon's Special Surprise" and he gets his name in another episode after which will be called "Zarbon's Mission" when he will have to recapture vegeta.

its the shock value. one moment he's a soft touch and the next moment he's pumped and buff and maniacal.

Vegeta should have put a whipping on Zarbon while he was doing that weird ass laugh!! I would have hit him with al of my power if he laughed at me in my face like that.

vegeta gave him a chance to strike back. and he paid for it. zarbon laid a can of whoopass on him. vegeta had no clue zarbon would do that so he was completely surprised by the transformation. he thought zarbon was lying just to get out of the inevitable, although it was the other way around and vegeta got his ass handed to him. you need to watch it. it starts in 1 hour and 15 minutes in counting.

Oh trust me, I won't miss this episode. Vegeta was stupidin this situation, and he sould have pounded Zarbon until he could not laugh anymore. I would have showed no mercy on that bastard. Also does DBZ come on at 10:30 around your region, because it does in my region.

yes. along with zarbon headbutting vegeta 10 times in a row, following up with 4 clotheslines, and approximately 20 head jabs and more than 10 knee caps and 2 roundhouse kicks and ending in a piledriver slam, i'd say it's pretty much showcasing my favorite guy being cool. You know what I like? Frieza getting his lazy ass handed to him by Goku. I hated the fact that Frieza yelled at Zarbon so much like it was actually his fault. Frieza wants the dragonballs so bad yet he refuses to get out of that damn pod and help. Meanwhile his henchmen would have got no reward whatsoever for bringing the dragonballs to him. It's no wonder Vegeta revolted. Frieza wanted Vegeta dead, and Zarbon went to do it, then Frieza yells at him for kicking the crap out of Vegeta. That's what you wanted right you little punk ass? God he gets me so angry! DIE FRIEZA DIE! Zarbon deserves better then to be Frieza's lapdog.

technically you are right about frieza's mistake of having zarbon heal vegeta, the fallen saiyan. it's as if he couldn't make up his mind. however, frieza does redeem himself when he does not hear from zarbon. he's actually very pissed that zarbon did not return, thinking that zarbon had either died or escaped, and that whole scenario where frieza actually CARED for zarbon is awesome. it just goes to show you how he did not care about all the other ppl around him, such as Namole and Orin, whom he popped when he felt pissed. lol. Zarbon was the only one who got cut some slack because he was top lieutenant in command of frieza's armies. anyone else made a mistake, they'd get popped within an instant for failure. Though I do agree with you on the fact that Frieza was wrong in healing vegeta, that was his mistake, not zarbon's. zarbon was only following orders.

i dont like the voices of the uncut version the suck
but the episodes are almost the same only the hardstuff you now get to see but i dont like it very much

the voices are the only bad thing. i liked the ocean voices much more. other than that, it seems to be so much better in every way.

Exactly Pz, and that's why Frieza pisses me off, he treats even his most loyal henchmen like crap. Even Zarbon, who had served him for a long time (assuming) without fail, and now one screw up and Frieza threatens to kill. I guess Frieza realized that if he killed Zarbon he would actually have to do something on his own. I'm even surprised Frieza came out when he did to face the heroes.

well, frieza was very, very pissed to have to come out and face them on his own. the main reason why he called the ginyu after zarbon's failure was that he didn't want to lift his own finger. it's not that he's not powerful, because he is extremely powerful, it's just that he's even more so very lazy. his laziness comes from his bloodline though, so he can't be blamed at that. he was lazy because he didn't know any better. lord frieza was spoiled with his powers, so he could sit back and relax when his warriors did all the conquering for him. i for one do not dislike frieza at all, he's very cool, and he was kind enough to appoint the likes of zarbon and dodoria as his top henchmen in the first place. his selection is class. :) the only person i dislike is vegeta for the sheer fact that he was a traitor. traitors do not slide with me.

Yeah, Frieza's worst move was to keep Vegeta alive...

(Oh BTW PZ, I manged to watch a Zarbon vid in Tenkaichi, he was kicking the CRAP out of Hercule badly.)

I thought this topic was dead but apparently it isn't. Anyway one of my all time favorite deaths is during the namek saga. Which would be Guldos because its so gorey. The first time i ever saw that episode it was heavily edited and was nothing like it was supposed to be. They made it look like Vegeta just shot a beam through Guldo and then Guldo just fell over with his head still intact. Then Vegeta just walked up to him and blasted him. Before he blasted him though Vegeta said "Time to send you to the next dimension". LOL. Ahh the absurdly heavy censorship of the original dub. Those were the days. :lol:
