2. Characters

Applying for characters

You will find character bios [URL=]here[/URL]
You will also need to write a 300 word sample post of the character to be approved. PM the completed bio along with your sample post to Ranger X or Shin.
Once it is read and reviewed you will be given notice of anything that needs to be worked out or if you have been approved or not. Do not begin playing until you have been given approval. Once you have been approved you will be given access to the character accounts to use for posting on the rp. There are only a limited number of main casts for this rp. Once all the roles are filled there will be no opening for new members in this game.

Non Playable Characters

NPCs of extras (anonymous people) are free for all players to use as desired.

NPCs of minor characters related to your character (family, friends, ext.) are free for you and you alone to use. If you wish for another player to play them for you, you may ask them to.

NPCs of non character specific minor characters are to be played only by Administrators using the Space NPC account unless permission otherwise is given.

Monsters

Being a Power Rangers rp generic monsters will be needed on a regular basses for the story. We will use a rotating cast of players to portray monsters. If you wish to be on this list to play a generic monster just fill out a monster bio[URL=]form[/URL] and PM it to Ranger X. These NPC Monsters are only open to players already in this game.


If you have a monster character you wish to play original or from the series you may submit it. If you do not have a monster in mind to play but would like to we will select one for you. You may also suggest any plot ideas based on your monster as well but the Administrators have final say in what may or may not be used in the game.

Once you are approved to play the monster you will be given access to the Space NPC Monster account. Right now we only need one generic monster at a time, if this changes or your monster becomes a staying character we will create a new register accordingly. Once your monster is destroyed the Space NPC Monster account password will change.

Nameless minions like putties are to be NPCed by their leader or by who is fighting them.

3. Posting

Set Up

This RP is set like a TV show. It will be threaded by episodes created by Admins. There will be one active thread at a time and all in character posts will go into it. When that story is finished the thread will be closed and the next one will be started.
To keep the RP concise be sure to clearly state any changes in setting, time or environment in your posts from the last players post. Changes in date or major time jumps (over 12 hours) need admin approval.

Post order will be recommended when multiple characters are in the same location to post in sequence in which the characters enter the area. This prevents characters getting written out of the conversation or actions. However this rule will not be strictly enforced in favor of keeping the game going.

Any episode or large story plots can be suggested by players in the rp [URL=]discussion[/URL] forum. However if a player takes actions that greatly change the RP without consulting the administrators or other players they will be notified and dealt with accordingly.

Once you have joined the story there is a once a week time limit between in game posts. After you post you will be expected to post again within 7 days after that post. If you do not post within 7 days of your last post you will be given notice that you are up. If you do not respond or post within a week of that notice you will be given a warning. If within three weeks of your last posting you have not posted responded to notice, or given a reason for your delay you will lose your character.

The exception to this rule is if waiting for another player in posting order causes a delay in when you can post, in this case we will go off the date of when the other player last posted as opposed to yours. If you are going to be unable to make the posting time limit for whatever reason, please post a notice or explanation in the [URL=]absence thread[/URL].


Format

Sentences are to be in past tense.
Posts must be at least 200 words long. You will be contacted if a post is significantly below 200 and asked to add to your post. This is to insure the best quality in posts from everyone. Think your posts through and you will see that it is easy to add enough description to make it to 200 words.

Once someone has posted after you, you cannot alter your post except to correct spelling or grammar errors or given permission or instructions to make alteration.

This game is rated PG-13. This means a medium amount of foul language is allowed, if you are not sure if your words or content are appropriate or not go ahead and post them. If there is a problem you will be contacted and nothing will be held against you unless it becomes a serious problem. Violence is of course acceptable here. Sexual innuendos are fine but let us refrain from any descriptions or details of the act. Use of brief or particle nudity is fine as long as it is in good taste. If there are any problems with any of this you will be told to correct it.


Fights

Remember to be fair in fights and allow others the chance to battle. No character is allowed to be all powerful.

If one character attacks another the attacked player has the choice to say if it hit or not. So in fights you are not allowed to say what kind of damage your attack did unless given permission by other player to do so. Only the other player can decide if your attack hurt, damaged, or killed them.

When fighting in Zords or using combined powers the team leader will post the final strike.
