Some good performances tonight, danny williams caused problems all night for them but man of the match for me was andy naylor. Held the ball up well and got on the score sheet. good team performance.

After Sat I thought we would get a football lesson last night but how wrong was I, but for the first 15mins when they did pass us to death, we never looked like losing.
As Matty said Naylor held the ball up really well, but for me the wing play last night was out of the top drawer in anyones book.
We took the chances when they came along and at the back another clean sheet against (what has to be said some quality big money players, made to look ordinary).
It is vital we take this into the league game at Salford and show them what a good side we are.

With Jerrome only one match of his ban to go ( but if he's learned lesson) we have another forward to put in there too.

Back 4 with Raz in his now cemented position, I hope, looked solid.

Can't stand silly bookings for mouthing off to a ref. Pointless.

Anybody know when the draw is for the next round?.Also are all the rounds for the Lancs Trophy played midweek.If we got to the semi-final or even the final would it be possible to switch the game to a weekend fixture.I think the gates would be higher if the fixtures took place at the weekend.I accept it would be a problem with the teams coming from a variety of leagues.The Lancs fa have made an excellent move with the final taking place at the Reebock.I think the semi-finals are to be played at the Lancs Fa stadium at Leyland.I think if both semi-finals could be played on the same day as a double header at a weekend then the Lancs Fa would benefit from a higher attendance and it would raise the profile of a fine old historic cup competition.

Peter you have not answered the mans initial question ( does anyone know the draw for the next round yet ) you have jumped to the semi finals procedure, why ?

Quite right Brian we have to win the next round to get in to the semi-final. I was answering the previous post and gave a link to the full rules.

I also found it rather strange that the Lancashire FA website had not the required info on results and dates or draw for the next round.
