Gents,
I cannot stress the fact that having one of these rods is phenomonal! My Avid series rod has proved it's worth over, and over again. Whether landing a 5 1/2 pound largemouth to a 9pound carp. She has held up quite nicely for me. Incidentally, if you want a cleaning tip for your rods: Take some Ivory soap, and an old toothbrush. Mild warm water too. Gently sud up the water,then lighty brush your cork handle. This cleans up your rod to a sparking new performance. Don't neglect your reel either. Lube, and check adjustments twice a year.
