Beware, Of THIS website

Hey, guys! I'm fanficgurl, one of the many writers at CF! I'm just dropping by to send you this little warning about this particular website called Godawful.net, this website that pretty much talks about the awful fanfiction that's out there...they might drop by here and if someone writes something that they think is terrible, they'll post it on their forum and talk even further about it. I had one of my fics on there and it pretty much killed me.

hi, sweetie. i wouldn't take their comments to heart. you have a lot of fans here and at idolfanfiction. i try to avoid all those nasty websites that have nothing else better to do than ridicule and criticize people like idoltard and vote for the worst, which jason has been featured on both sites this year. you can't please everyone, but so long as your fans love you-that is what really counts.

Oh, thanks for your sweet comments. *blushes* I was just trying to help spread the word in case those jerks mosey on over here and ridcule our fics here. I wrote a fic for FF.net a few years ago that got ridculed over there. Needless to say, it hurt my feelings and I stopped writing it. Now, I don't even bother going over there anymore. But you're right...you most certainly can't please everyone...you just gotta keep on doin' your thing, 'cause there are people that love what you do.

years ago when boybands used to rule the world, one of my fics ended up in a highly selective group of fanfiction entitled 'badfic'. i thought it was a pretty good fic if i say so myself. they just didn't get me so i understand where you're coming from. we'll all avoid that atrocious site. there's nothing more devastating than for some stranger to trash your work especially when you pour your heart and soul into that piece of writing b/c i know us writers are a very passionate group of people. in any case, thanks for the tip, hon.
