Live Concerts

Has anyone here been to a big live concert for a well known band? I havn't yet because I have no money whenever good bands come to Perth (which is hardly ever). I almost saw Regurgitator last year at the battle of the bands but i'm not the biggest fan so i decided not to stick around.

I haven't seen any bands on stage apart from the live shows on TV. I'm not prepared to spend all that money on any band.

It doesnt cost that much...

Anyway I've seen Greenday, Bad Religion, Thursday, Thrice and Alexisonfire.

I've seen others but those are the ones that stood out from the rest.

Never but I'll probably want to see Hilary sing Fly. I don't like Hilary but the song rocks =) I always jump up and down whenever I'll see her singing it through TV :lol:

I would spend hundreds of dollars to see either Rob Zombie or Disturbed live. But I live in Perth, and no one cares about us.....

I had a chance to watch a concert, incubus, however, due to my laziness rune lol, and some friends that back-out to at the last few minutes, I didn't have the chance to see the band play, I didn't want to go alone and besides the event's place is too far from my home.

By the way this coming saturday, the hottest local band here is going to have a concert somewhere near to my university. I supposed I'll have to see it.

Is Pillar (sp?) well known? There was about 1000 people there. I saw them play in Bryercrest Sask.

I've never heard of them. Where are they from?

They're a christian rock band from Canada or USA. They're fairly big. I think they're played on freq 107 every once in a while.

Pah..... As if we Maltese ever get a band visit..........

I just picked up a pair of tickets for a Dave Matthews Band concert at Tinley Park, IL. on 9/15. You really....don't want to know how much they cost. <_<

I wanted to go to DMB, heh...missed that one.

...smashed blast, it was great.

My first concert was lame. I went to see Hoobastank / Avenged Sevenfold, even though I didn't really like those two bands. Also, since they were playing at a park I couldn't find any of my friends. >_>

The last concert I went to was freaking awesome, I went to see Static-X at the House of Blues with my two bestest friends. I had a sore neck for 2 months. XD

Last big concert I went to was Hallowicked up in Detroit. That was a fuggin' blast. Aside from that... Dark Lotus here in Cinci, as well as Alabama. The Psychopathics concerts were just amazing. The energy poured into those things is fantastic. I also missed out on going to see Disturbed the last time they came through. I couldn't find anyone to go with me... :(

I've seen Nickelback in concert, and every year my family goes to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas concert. (Believe it or not, TSO puts on a better show :))
