Whoa! I need to get a PSP too! I got some cravings to play Lunar Star Story Complete, but don't have the game anymore...

But I did start two games of SO2 not that long ago on my PS2. On Claude's game I just defeated Decus and the other Wiseman with him(The petrifying Mind Blast Douche, as I have dubbed him). Just got one more to knock off, then get to the save point and off to the COT! I went with Ashton, Bowman, Leon, Chisato, Celine, and Noel. Of course Noel blows, but wanted to fill up the voice collection so I could play on Universe mode. My actual serious party is Claude, Ashton, Bowman(sometimes Chisato), and Rena. But with random level building and trying to unlock of the voice collection I've found the mages aren't as horrible as I originally thought, though the fighter types are definately still more effective against bosses.

And on Rena's game I just finished up the Linga Sanctuary. Rockin' the Big Pimpin' Claude party: Precis, Rena, and Opera. I'll probably use Dias in my end party even though I know a lot of people have mixed reviews of him. Though the last time I beat the game Dias was my key to whooping Indalecio, as I just had him spamming Cresent Moon Flash, which kept him from moving when linked with a Sword Dance and Mirror Slice sandwich. And every hit from Dias was 9999. Of course Illusion blows incomparison to other multi-hit moves, but he is still useful.

Back to LSS, I agree Ghalleon's voice was perfect and Nall's needs changing. It's been a long while since I played the game, but I wouldn't want Kyle's changing too much either.

With the Star Ocean for PSP are they adding anything? Just Transplanting? Or transplant + graphic face lift?

OH IT'S HOT!

Yeah, for SO2 on the psp it got new voices, a new character (Welch), new art (The art for the Ten Wise Men is a nice addition), and with that, faces with dialogue that change with certain emotions given the tone of the script. Standard stuff by today's quality imo, but seeing my favorite game of my teenage years given a face lift like that is awesome.

I haven't heard all of the new voices, but I'm sure many of them are great.

Oh they also redid some of the names... like The village of Mars is now Marz, and Cross is now uhm... I forgot but it's not Cross, lol.

The Ten Wise Men's names are their original Japanese names, which were taken from the bible. Kinda boring if you ask me, I liked Indelecio, Cyril, Decus, Vesper, etc.

Almost everyone's attack moves name's were reworked too.

Dragon Howl -> Dragon Roar
Pillary -> Neck Snap
Leaf Slash - Vanishing Swords
Etc.

I think they added a new dungeon too? Not sure.

I do know they added some more PAs, for Welch and Dias (since he had none) and a couple others for fun.

There's also a new animated opening and I think they redid the cinematics in animation and added more animated scenes to the game's story.

Glad to see we've got some more Lunar fans here aside from me and Clive. I just finished my replay last night, collecting all the bromides and animated sequences for the Rememberizer. I also defeated both Xenobia and Ghaleon at level 50 (the strongest they can get based on SSSC's boss stats system), and since I gave the Hell Ring to Alex this time I was able to use his dragon magic a bit more. Dragon Healing definitely saved my neck a few times, especially when Ghaleon did his Inferno/Nitro Dagger combo twice in a row and left Kyle in bad shape, and Dragon Protect helped counter Fate Storm quite nicely. Overall it was a good, fun replay that I'm glad I decided to go through!

All that said, I figured now would be a good time to replay Lunar 2: Eternal Blue complete, though I haven't gotten far at all. I just now got Gwyn in the party before departing for the Blue Spire. Hopefully this replay will go as good as the SSSC one did.

Recenty purchased Madden 10 and Saints Row 2, I've got to get the new controls sussed for Madden and then I can think about going online (i'd probably be thrashed at this moment in time) and looking about getting the online franchise add on mode.

Have had tons of fun with saints row 2, its like GTA4 but just more crazy and fun.

I, am working on a replay of Star Ocean 2 (PSX, buying the PSP one after Persona) alongside Dan/Luc so we can talk and compare our progress and how the game plays, even though we're already masters of it from our youthful days of playing. Dan is a little ahead of me actually, I am still outside the Synard Cave on Nede. My main party is Bowman, Rena, Opera, Claude, secondary is Ernest, Celine, Leon, and soon to be Chisato. I mainly play Bowman or Ernest. Don't have alot of end game weapons, not really worried about that, not really working on mastering all Killer Moves, just the ones that are good. I have unlocked almost all the talents for the majority of my characters and already created the romantic books and I'm working on pairing up Bowman and Rena, Opera and Claude, Ernest and Celine, and I suppose Leon with Chisato.

When I'm not working on that, I am replaying LoZ: Twilight Princess, in a contest with my little sister, she's playing the Wii version, I'm playing the Gamecube version.

I'm also dabbling in FF: Dissidia still, going through everyone's story modes a second and third time to get all the items, and I am playing both Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles and Symphony of the Night, within that game. In which, I have beaten Dracula as Alucard with the Crissagrim, working on Richter mode next.

I think that's about everything!

Like Clive said, we're both working on Star Ocean 2 at the moment. Right now I just cleared the Field of Intelligence in Rena's game with Rena, Claude, Dias, and Chisato as my main party all at 68 with all Killer Moves to this point mastered, all pre-Cave of Trials ultimate weapons Customized, and all the best armor forged for them with and without the Magical Rasp, and I managed to steal the Bunny Shoes for the main character I control (Dias in this case). My alternate party is Celine, Ashton, Precis, and Noel and are more uneven levels and KMs-wise (only Ashton is 68 with everything mastered), but they've got all their best gear too. I don't know whether I want to work with them some more yet or not, but it has still been enjoyable.

Aside from that, a friend of mine who didn't have time for it actually gave me his PSP and the first game I bought for it was Crisis Core. I'm not very far in it yet, having just gotten to the part where Lazard introduces Zack to Tseng and he has a chance to explore Midgar before going on the mission, but it's been great so far. I haven't had much luck spinning up DMW Limit Breaks and levels yet, though I did get one memory of Angeal during the Wutai mission, and I have Ifrit as well. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the game!

Yeah I too am rockin out Star Ocean 2 still. I haven't played my game with Claude any farther, but with Rena I am about to go to the Mihne Cave to get the ore to make antiproton weapons. I'm rockin Claude, Rena, Dias, and Opera as my main party; all with pre-cave ultimates rockin(aside from the Sacred Tear for Rena, she's rockin a Kaiser Knuckle for the magic bonus), I got a battle suit on Claude and Rena, though sometimes Rena's gets slapped on Dias. I have Chisato, Ernest, Celine, and Precis as other characters though the only one I've seriously considered in my line up is Precis. Mostly because I have developed both Celine and Precis in my game with Claude quite thoroughly and Ernest just kinda blows...

Aside from that I started another play through of Kessen 3. Just defeated Imagawa and have finished 2 of the 3 minor battles in the 2nd chapter. Keiji is overpowered(as always) and I'm still filling in who I want to develop the most. Anybody else ever play this game? It's pretty bad ass. It's like Dynasty Warriors but on a unit scale and you have to control your whole army.
