Name: Hazeliko Age: Born: 444, Age 16 Star: Tensyo Star [The Swift Star] Hometown: Warrior's Village, Toran Republic Occupation: Trickster/Illusionist Weapon: Warrior's Needles: These are a special sort of needles that are composed of steel and magic. By magic, one means that they are blessed in such a way that whenever Hazeliko decides to launch them at a target, they immediately return back to his hands within moments. These powers are from unknown origin. All that Hazeliko knows is that he found them in the proximity of a creepy castle to the south of his village...next to a skeleton...and tons of tombstones. They are very sharp needles and even seem to illuminate an eerie silver glow at times. These aren't really weapons to kill, but more to incapacitate. Pressure points are the key when using these items as they can cripple an enemy if used just right. Runes: Right Hand; Wind Rune Class and MP: Runic Warriors: 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 Character Description: Actual Image Hazeliko, wielding deep brown eyes, stands at a height of 5 feet and 6 inches. That makes him a bit short than those around his age, but it all works out for him. He has a light build that makes him pretty weak strength-wise, but he is very agile. His hair is a black that seemingly glimmers in the light. Sometimes it appears to have silver streaks, but that's only the lighting play tricks on you. He wears clothes that are not extravagant or showy in the least bit. A loose white shirt and a black, long-sleeve jacket is his attire thus far. Hazeliko doesn't wear armor for it prohibits his mobility and, besides, he avoids close-combat as much as possible. The loose garments that he wears grants him great mobility which aids him in his exploits. Based on the things he wears, most believe him to be a sort of street urchin.
Biography: Born: 444 Location: the Warrior's Village within the Toran Republic
Hazeliko was born a cheerful youth with a lively spirit. It seemed that the majority of the time - the boy was giggling. Most of the time, it'd appear to everyone else that the child had just gone psycho or had a maniacal fit of sorts. However, to Hazeliko, he was just enjoying life. The young man always appreciated what life had to offer - the air, water, trees, the wildlife...the world was always so surreal to him.
As a younger child, Hazeliko was brought up like any other upcoming youth of the Warrior's Village. He was taught the basics of combat, how to identify targets, and various other valuable information. While he did pay attention to his instructors, the boy's mind was always drifting towards the clouds. He wanted out - and bad. Hazeliko gave his parents an earful about his dreams of leaving the village, but only got the same response: You must train hard to become a powerful warrior - then you may venture as you please.
Train hard? According to himself, he WAS training hard. His mind was being filled with all of this nonsense about footprints, stances, self-defense, and weapons. Wasn't that training enough? Hazeliko figured that he knew more about combat then would others his age ever would dream about. As the years dragged on, the instructors were beginning to see what weapons the youths would deem their professions. As everyone would choose a sword, spear, staff, and the like, Hazeliko decided upon nothing. All he needed were his bare hands and a steady head. The instructors commended him for this, but recommended that he choose a weapon to learn with - if only to fall back to in case of an emergency. Hazeliko shook his head each and everytime. All he showed them was the Wind Rune that had been embed into his right hand. It was odd for one of the Warrior's Village to practice such magics, but the boy seemed different. The boy had always been different from the rest. He'd be forced to practice combat techniques using his bare hands on things that the others would be using weapons on. This included trees, wood dummies, boulders, and other mediums. Hazeliko would be more adept at his magics and unarmed fighting then the other warrior youths would be with their fancy weapons.
At the age of 16, in IS 460, Hazeliko decided to leave his village under the cover of night. He had managed to bypass the village patrols by using his Wind Rune to put them asleep at their posts. This was dangerous to the village's well-being, but he needed to get out with as little attention drawn to himself as possible.
It took days for Hazeliko to reach civilization once he fled the village. From the village, he headed north towards the fortress of Lorimar. It seemed that he'd need to get past this checkpoint before he'd be able to get to any sort of town or city. Under the cover of night, Hazeliko stalked outside the fortress premises for any openings. His prayers were answered when a lone guardsman decided to go to a nearby patch of trees for a...leak. The boy took this oppurtunity, used his Wind Rune to put the guardsman into a deep sleep, and took his armor. Now to anyone at the garrison, he'd be just another soldier. It took some smooth talking to get him through the fortress to the other side, but he made it. Upon shedding his armor in a safe place, Hazeliko traveled further northward towards the city of Antei. To him, it looked like a trader's paradise and a perfect place to see the world. Hazeliko managed to join a caravan full of traders, travelers, merchants, and performers who had their sights set on the Dunan region. The boy had never heard of this place that was supposedly far to the north before, so he was all for going along with the group.
The caravan spent months traveling and stopping at various landmarks on the way northward. Hazeliko saw many things in these months of travel - he learned a lot also. The caravan stopped at Radat where most of them went their seperate ways. So once again, Hazeliko was alone in his journeys. Although, he had heard something among the troupe' that a war was in full force. He had seen the military build-up in Radat and didn't like it one bit. For now, he just wanted to examine things and see how they play out. Afterall, he was a curious youth with a curious mind.
Personality: Hazeliko has a colorful personality. He always finds a way to muster entertainment out of most anything! In a combat situation, this fact stills reminds close to the truth. The boy can usually be seen around with a smile fixated on his face at all times. Even if he's alone, he tends to play entertaining scenarios through his mind so that he may get a laugh. A child at heart, Hazeliko loves to play little jokes on everyone. He is a very clever lad, and more times than not, ends up fooling his "prey." It's all fun and games for him, so usually his tricks don't end up causing people serious harm or injuries. Hazeliko also loves to play around with that Wind Rune of his as a sort of illusionist. This goes along with his love of playing tricks and pranking people.

QUOTE
It was the dead of night at the Highland Army was on the move. The clanking of their armor could be heard for yards as the residents of Radat peered out their windows. Hazeliko sat cross-legged on the roof of the local tavern and looked down at the formations below him. Archers, spearmen, swordsmen - there were men of every type down there! The boy wondered what they could possibly be doing with so many men. He tilted his head, looked up towards the moon, and put his finger to his mouth. The boy did hear about a war before he came up north with that caravan. Hazeliko knew not of what forces the Highland Army was fighting against, but they were totally serious about it from the looks of things. From the boy's point of view, it seemed like they wanted to completely obliterate their enemy. This worried the boy from the Warrior's Village, but also perked his curiosity. The troops continued to march out in a strict formation - now a troupe' of horsemen were marching beneath the tavern. It seemed that the entire village of Radat was out and watching the Highland Army march off. Women held their children close. Upon closer inspection, it looked to Hazeliko like a good portion of Radat's been had been forcefully conscripted into the Highland Army.
He gritted his teeth, but said nothing, What town is to'the west of here...? Hazeliko took out his map and inspected it closely. He pointed his finger at his current location which was Radat. The boy then traced westward with his pointer finger which ended up pointing to a town called - South Window. South Window. There was where he would be headed next. Hazeliko would keep to the forest that he noticed was to the north of the Highland Army's suspected path. He wouldn't take any chances with this army. They looked fearsome and deathly serious. If he left now, he'd make it to South Window at about the same time that the Highlanders would arrive. Then he'd watch the events unfold. Hazeliko just hoped that they weren't planning on doing what he was thinking...And that was to kill.

Everything looks good, though we do require that you have an RP sample relevant to the character you are registering. Generally people use it as a launching point for their character, but you don't have to. It could be something far in the past, just something to show a lil bit more about the character and how you write with them.
Aside from that feel free to add a weapon if you wish. Even if he fights bare-hands he can always use some kind of weapon: I.E. Claws, gloves, brass knuckles, rings, etc. Once again it's up to you, but the choice to not have a weapon is a strong statement that the character will most likely not get involved in combat, or unable to fight as well as some other characters(Especially if your class leans further away form Heavy Fighter).
Anyway I like what you got. Just change the RP sample for sure, and take the comments/suggestions as you wish.
