South Window battle plan, Revised edition

Alrightly folks, here's the newly revised plan for the battle of South Window. Things shown in gray have already happened/are happening now.

You may notice that this plan is not quite as detailed as the previous one - especially regarding who is going to be where and doing what. This does not mean that you can't participate in a particular part of the event if your chara isn't mentioned.

Rather, this plan is meant to serve as a framework, so everyone will (hopefully) have a common point of reference, and no one will need to worry too much about running to keep up. If you want to fight on the wall, that's fine. If you don't want to do that, that's fine too. But at least you'll know it's an option, and (again hopefully) no one will be left waiting if you change your mind or get dragged off the internet by real life.

We will also be using the Event Persona to help set up and move things along.

I cannot stress how important it is to let us know (email being the best right now) of what your characters want to do. Its important to tell us asap, since it could be hard to modify implement stuff once the machine gets going. Just a warning. ;)

So please send us your, ideas/plans if you have not already.

I dont know if I miss it, but I dont see Irwins PLan there? or is me that I'm to tired lol

It's mentioned a couple times.

First, as one of the things currently in process, "Two days before...":

-Irwin plans and prepares the exterior defenses of the city.

Second, on the first day:

-2:00pm: The siege of South Window begins. Ladders, assault rams, and arrows begin to emerge everywhere as Highland seeks to take the city, but is severely hindered by Irwin's defensive arrangements. Shu sends a messenger (Kendall?) through the tunnel to find Viktor and co.

Third, although it doesn't mention his plan directly, an event on the second day of battle does include his sugggestions:

-04:30am: Heavy fighting begins again at the City Gate. Shu makes the call to unleash the fire arrows and spells towards the stockpiled and hidden explosives, a tough call as some of the allies are caught in the crossfire of the exploding remains of the gate and wounded/killed in the attack. Flik signals a full retreat of all allies to the Manor. Belcoot/Hazuki have an event near the inn.

I wouldn't say that's quite what I had in mind lol, but meh.

EDIT: BTW there should probably be leaders for the battle as I'm sure Flik can't be just leading everyone into battle himself. Could anyone else be considered as a captain of some sorts during the fighting? Like Irwin and Lelei will take command of the rear guard later on, but someone will need to be leading the frontlines and the archers on the wall and such.

Tir will be returning to the south after he "escapes" from Coronet, with Pahn. Instead of heading to North Window, Tir will head for South Window with the hopes of meeting up with his party there, with some hope of reuniting the McDohl household with the starving warrior now with him. When he does arrive to find that the group there hasn't arrived even after days of time, Tir will begin to fear the worst for his friends.

That's where I'll be at that point in the story, so is Flik still an active member here or what? I know that Tir could no doubt hold a meeting with Annabelle and Shu ( both of whom I assume are Story Characters at this point ) so I wouldn't have a problem with filling the role of which Geddoe speaks when the time is right.

EDIT: Where is there going to be a finalized plan posted? I'm seeing that the army is about to leave from Radat soon and so I'm sure the fighting will begin pretty soon if everyone posts. I think that everyone should get their word in on if they want to participate in the event now so that one final plan could be posted. It'll also help see who's active and who will be able to hold what original roles they had planned for themselves in the event.

If so, Emer kinda needs something to do until then!!

Update on the War on South Window!!

I'm thinking Irwin will stay to protect the city while the others are gone.

Twaikin's the same, I edited his post, and he's now in the Manor's perimeter. B)

1. Is this timeline the most current one being followed?

2. Reading this looks it looks like it's 1:15pm or so now, no?

Yeah you're right. Next post will be 1:30 as they'll be back at the gates. But yeah you're right, same timeline.

Thats pretty exciting, indeed :) It's the first time I play with you and I find the plan very, very exciting.

I just sent a pm to Hazuki, proposing a way to drive Rina into the battle. I hope it will be okay.

Ok, just to gives me a heads up.

Since the event is starting, I was wondering where everyone's alliance characters are.

Like in what part of the city is everyone at?

As it stands Nash is no where near Hazuki, he is on the walls because he was picked up by the local militia. lol
