Since there's a lot of unheard of movies that I wouldn't mind commenting on, I thought that this would be a good idea.
I've been watching the Never Ending Story and Mullholland Drive over and over becuase I need to analyse them for a psychology unit. The former is bloody awesome and brings back heaps of childhood memories. That Moon Child is still great after all these years. Mullholland Drive is probably the wierdest movie I'll ever see. I've seen it about five times and it nearly makes sense, lol.
Last movie I watched? Well right now that'd be Almost Famous. It's prolly almost over. Before that it was Erin Brokavich for some reason. Don't ask me why I watched it! Specially since it was my second time!

The last movie I watched would have been Miracle. If you've never heard of it, I wouldn't be surprised. It's a movie based upon the USA Hockey Team of 1980 (I think) which beat the Russian team in the Olympics. More so, it's based upon the life of one of the greatest coaches to ever change the sport, Herb Brooks. It came out a few years ago, but it's a pretty solid movie.

Nice choice, Wyatt. I love that movie :)
The last movie I watched was Night at the museum. Not especially deep or thought-provoking, but a whole lot of fun - in my opinion. Before that, I'm rather embarassed to say, I watched Epic movie. Why? Well, it was on hand and I wanted something mindless I didn't have to pay much attention to. Boy, did it deliver...... although there were more than the average number of "what the heck? moments.

I just watched Lost Highway. It's another one of those Lynch films that don't really make as much sense as you would like. It was pretty enjoyable though. The soundtrack was good (full of Rammstein)

Over the weekend I watched Seabiscuit, one of my favorites among more recent movies. The book it's based on is really good, too (although considerably more depressing :().

The last movie I watched was DoA. The movie was pretty cheesy, but awesome at the same time. Like the DoA games it was all about the cute chicks playing volleyball! Oh yeah the fight scenes were pretty cool too I guess.

What do you know, I missed one....
Monday night I was in the mood for some wuxia, so I (re)watched Hero. Gorgeous to look at, but convoluted enough that I had to watch it a couple times before I really understood what was going on, and with, like many Asian movies, a less than happy ending.
It was a bit strange really, but while I was watching the movie I kept wanting to sketch the characters' faces, especially Flying Snow (Maggie Cheung) and Sky (Donnie Yen).

I watched part of Hidalgo for the first time tonight, before coming into work this morning. I wasn't really keen on the idea of seeing Aragorn riding another pony in a western type movie (which I'm historic for disliking) but after about an hour and ten minutes of watching it, I must say it is a pretty decent movie. I was glad to see that there was some basis and backstory put into the characters from the get-go. Plus, Hidalgo the Mustang, is just an incredible animal to watch on the screen.

let's see.. probably Death note the last name
it's a series of two live-action Japanese films released in 2006 and based on the Death Note manga series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. A really cool movie, awesome story and characters.
