Official Unite Thread

This thread will serve the same purpose as the last one. If you want to keep your old unites, just repost them here, or come up with a new one if you'd like. You will not need to re-purchase additional unites beyond your initial free one, however.

Just for the record, the old unites can be found here, for those too slack to look :P

Viktor, up for another one? We could use the old one and modify it. I'm not fussed.

I'd actually like to put unites on a short hold until a new set of rules for them clears both the admins an members.

Name - Loyal Guardian Attack

Description - McDohl and Gremio showcase their weapons and then cross them, standing directly next to one another. The two then sprint forward, weapons still crossed; towards one opponent. In a lightning fast movement, the two uncross their weapons and perform a cross strike, causing severe damage to their target.

Damage - x2 damage to one enemy

Enemy effects - 30% Chance of a Critical Hit
Party effects - ( None )

Conditions - McDohl and Gremio must be standing next to one another.

Clive had mentioned an idea earlier that I wanted to run by everybody and see what they thought. Every character gets their unites from the game for free; I.E. Viktor and Flik have Cross Slash, Riou and Jowy have Buddy Attack, etc.

Anyways I thought I would throw that out and also propose to Wyatt that perhaps we should work out some unites for Flik and Viktor and possibly even Kiba and Wyatt if we work together for awhile. Either way in both cases I am playing the physically dominate character so if we were to make unites any runic contributions would be on your part.

Especially the Fliktor Unite thang. I had sent a few idea's to the old Viktor about "original" or non-game Unites, so I'll try to think a few more up and send them your way to see what you think of them.

We'll have to see about the Kiba/Wyatt attack. I'm more focused right now on maybe getting one established with Geddoe and him first, probably. But, I do like the idea of one with Kiba if we're going to be together often or at different times IC.

Name – Copy Cat Attack ( Hoi and anyone with the same Attack Technique or Weapon Type )

Type of bond – Same Technique of Attack or Weapon Type

Description – Hoi will go beside the one that he will join his attack with. He shall twirl his right Tonfa and will prepare to attack. He shall then look at his partner and shall await its action. When his partner attacks, Hoi shall try and perform the same action with his partner. With full effort, Hoi will be left unbalance if he performs well on their unite with his partner. However, Hoi may not be able to the same action instead he would do his normal attack.

Range - Medium

Damage - x1.25 damage to one enemy; x2 Damage to one Enemy if the Unite is a success.

Enemy effects – Enemy has a 10% of being Unbalanced

Party effects – Hoi is Unbalanced if he could perfectly copy his partner. There would be a 5% chance of a perfect unite to be performed.

Conditions – Hoi can only copy Tonfa and Fist-type weapon users.

I really see no reason not to open this back up with existing rules until we can look at modifying them....possibly.

Tir and Hoi, both of your Unites have been Approved. ;)

Please post a copy up in your character profile for reference, and these will count as both of your characters first and free Official Unite Attack.

Well since I have a free unite then let me give it a try.

Name –Rampaging Cuts Attack

Characters – Lelei & Sagittarius.

Type of bond – Master & Pet

Description – Sagittarius speed up with rage and fury as Lelei raises her sword. As the flash of the horse pass between the enemies in a straight line Lelei keeps waving her sword in many ways harming every enemy on her path. When Sagittarius stops, Lelei unsheathe her sword

Range - Medium

Damage – x.5 damage to a column of enemies.

Enemy effects – 20% unbalance.

Party effects – Sagittaruis’ Gale rune is unable and he becomes hyper.

Conditions – Lelei must be mounting Sagittarius.

Hey Viktor how about we get a Unite, since we will be traveling together for awhile it will be good to have a move for back up.

two heavy fighters the attack power will be high, but im sure we both will be unbalanced or something. what do you think?

I would say yes, but its sort of pending Belcoot and Hazuki having a Unite. Thanks for offering to donate the potch ^_^

While Humph and I work out our unite through PM I offer up another Unite idea. So Flik(Wyatt, whatev' :P ), Humph, and McDohl this is targetted at you!

I think we need to have a Former LA unite. It will undoubtedly be a long process to create one that we all agree with, but I think it would be friggin' awesome. Besides how many four person unites has this site seen? (I haven't seen any, lol)

What do you guys think?

The real question is how often are you going to have a chance to use a four-person unite. To be quite honest, I don't think I've even seen a unite used on this site ever. And that includes my sweet unite with Valikor when I was RPing Joshua.
