Castle North Wind Terms of Service, Use, and Notices

1. Accepting The Terms Of Service & Use

This is an agreement ("Agreement") between you and Castle North Wind. You agree that your usage of any Castle North Wind services binds you to the terms set forth within this document and to any changes made to it hereafter.

2. Modification Of These Terms

The Castle North Wind reserves the right to modify any and all terms and conditions set forth within this document. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing this document, and by continued usage of any Castle North Wind services or products, signify acceptance and agreement to such changes.

3. Additional Terms

The Castle North Wind contains additional terms (for example, forum conduct rules and guidelines) that further dictate procedures. By accepting the terms stated within this document, you agree also to abide by rules and guidelines for conduct as stated elsewhere on the Castle North Wind.

4. Content

All content posted on Castle North Wind including (but not limited to) Graphics, and stories are the sole property of the respective creator and the Castle North Wind. Redistribution of such items is strictly prohibited without express permission from an Castle North Wind Administrator and/or the content's creator.

4.1 Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, link to, or e-mail any content that contains, promotes, instructs about, or provides prohibited content of the like listed below:

1. Content that infringes upon any rights [ex. MP3s and ROMs] (including, but not limited to, copyrights and trademarks)
2. Abusive, threatening, defamatory, racist, or obscene
3. Viruses or any other harmful computer software
4. False Information or libel
5. Spam, chain letters, or Pyramid schemes
6. Gambling or Illicit drugs
7. Terrorism
8. Hacking or cheating for internet/online games
9. Warez, Roms, CD-Keys, Cracks, Passwords, or Serial Numbers
10. Pornography, nudity, or sexual material of any kind (this includes cybering and thus role-playing sex)
11. Excessive profanity
12. Invasive of privacy or impersonation of any person/entity
13. Hacking materials or information.


5. User Accounts

Each user is responsible for any and all activity performed on their account. The sharing of accounts is highly discouraged, and each user is advised to keep their account secure by following the advice stated within the InvisionFree Announcement here.


6. Advertising

Advertising of any sort on the Castle North Wind is limited to the Affiliations area and your signature. Advertising found in any other areas of the board is permissable to be removed by the Castle North Wind Staff. In addition, the recruitment of staff, whether a link is provided or not, is not permitted in any area of the Castle North Wind, bar Plug Your Forum and your signature. 7. Punishment

When in breach of any terms stated within this document, or elsewhere on the board, the Castle North Wind reserves the right to deliver any of the following actions as listed below:

* Verbal Warning - No Action Taken
* Formal Warning - Warn Level Raised 10% (Per Warn)
* Mod Queue
* Suspension
* Ban

Listed in order of severity, with the final one being most severe

8. Ripping

If you are found ripping any information or document from the Castle North Wind or any members of the Castle North Wind, you will be warned and suspended in accordance with the consequences mentioned in sections 7. Any ripped items that are located on or off of the Castle North Wind should be reported here.


9. General Notice

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy or completeness/usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us via PM. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this board.
