Character Description: Fenris has a jet black dense outer coat with a dark grey undercoat and light grey paws. He is a monster of a wolf being about five and a half feet from snout to tail and weighs roughly 160 lbs. He has an incredibly built upper body of a wolf, perhaps due to the Lycan blood his muscle growth varies somewhere between wolf and human. Fenris is actually large enough to be ridden by a smaller framed bipedal creature but it is a highly unlikely situation, however the young son of the Chief Lucia, Hugo, has been known to get away with it on occasion. His large size makes him a excellent predator being able to take down large prey, however it does make the art of stealth a bit trickier.

Biography: Fenris is the son of Leon and Alanaah, a result of Leon's time under the control of the savage Beast Rune. Because of this Leon was unaware of his existence until the pregnancy of Alanaah became obvious in her size and how she behaved. Because of the Lycan blood and possibly the power of the Beast Rune, Fenris was born far larger than normal wolf cubs and as result his mother's body could not withstand the birthing process.

Still like his father before him he was born under the Motherly love of the great Forest of Kuput with a full moon in the sky. After his mother's death, Leon began to raise the cub in the Kuput forest for several months primarily staying in his Lupus, or wolf form, to make life less confusing for the young wolf cub.

Given his genetics Fenris grew at an unusually fast speed and after those months spent in Kuput Leon thought Fenris was ready to see the rest of the world. Large enough to defend himself against most creatures and under the protective eye of his father he was introduced to the Karayan Clan upon Leon's return. Leon kept the origin of Fenris a secret from all except his Chief Lucia, who already knew of Leon's Lycan blood.

Taken in with great love and appreciate, like all animals in the Karayan Clan, Fenris has become very attached to his human pack. His relationship with his father his edgy but still filled with mutual love. Despite his rough exterior and menacing appearance, Fenris gets along famously with the children of the Clan.

It has yet to be seen if Fenris carries the same curse as his father where he must live in the very different worlds man and animal. He is still fairly young and could still have the Lycan gene activated at some point in his life, something Leon prays does not occur hoping his son to have a simpler and there for happier life.

Personality: Fenris is far smarter than a regular wolf being brought up by his lycan father. He is fully aware of most of what occurs within the Karaya Clan and the how's and why's of their friction with Zexen. He is extremely protective of his pack and can be a bit brash when it comes to dealing with strangers. To members of his pack he is very playful and tries to encourage them to hunt with him.

RP Sample:

Rays of sunlight pierced through the thick canopy of the first home Fenris ever knew, Kuput. He followed behind his father a dark haired wolf with bulging front arms, as he was in the Hispo form, who was leading him out of the forest in the direction of the Duck and Karayan villages. They had just finished a trip to Chisha on behalf of Chief Lucia to ensure the clans were in agreement about trade with Zexen. It wasn't a mission that concerned Fenris much. He understood it, partially, but saw it more as a chance to travel through home twice, and a chance to play in the hilly fields of the Chisha landscape.

Soon the pair found themselves without the cover of sunlight as they moved out into the open plains of the Grasslands. Silent Strider halted sniffing the air before looking back to his son, ["Do you smell the water on the air? That's the Duck Village. That is our first sign that we are almost home."]

Fenris dipped his snout in a nod, ["Could we stop there on our way back? We never spend much time with the Duck Clan..."]

Strider's tail began to wag with excitement. It was true, neither of them had spent a reasonable amount of time with the Duck Clan as they were often sent to the farther clans due to their ability to traverse the Grasslands much faster then their Clansmen. ["I think that would be a great idea!"] He barked with excitement.

Fenris picked up his pace with more of a playful bounce in his step, happy that his father approved of his request. It must of been something to do with the peace that recently settled over the land. Normally Fenris was used to his father denying him adventures because they were duty bound to some other task.

The Rabid Fang Rune began to shimmer intensely on the face of Strider as he reverted back to his human form. With a playful hand Leon ruffled up the fur atop his son's head.

"Alright let's go visit those lively ducks. And remember, they aren't dinner!" He said with a playful grin before continuing down the trail.

Equipment

Being an animal Fenris does not have the advantage of a thumb, and thus carrying things is indeed a problem. However Leon does have a side bag that he can attach to the wolf much like a full body harness. In this bag he often carries things like medicine, water, herbs, and sometimes food for both himself and Leon. Of course generally Leon will access the bag though in extreme circumstances he may be able to get the harness off and crudely manipulate some of the items.
