This is from Due Fiumi. Now would be a good time to get something on S6, but a PSP release would be quite random. Anyway, lets hope we get something later in the week.

However, the rumour, which seems to have originated from 2ch is said to be a lot less detailed than reported on forums and gaming sites. Don’t get too excited.

Ah, sweetness. It doesn't say if the title was Genso Suikoden VI or just Genso Suikoden... Anyways, I would've never expected SVI on the PSP, if it's true... then I'm happy! I have a PSP so yay, portable Suikoden!!!!

If Suikoden 6 goes on a handheld (I don't own) I will be very sad at the fact that I will be forced to buy a psp.
If it does go handheld, IF IT DOES...
It better look like 1 and 2 in that regard.

I couldn't agree more with Nash. But from the sounds of it I think they are talking about putting 1 or 2 on the PSP, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to release a new game on a portable system like that. After all look how amazing Suiko V looks compared to 3 and 4, I pray that Konami will keep trying to evolve the game with the new systems.
On the other hand a PSP is a hell of a lot less expensive than a PS3...

I wouldn't mind a PSP release, really.
Actually, it could work out well for Konami that way with sales figures if they focus their marketing campaign the right way. I mean besides the fanbase who would already pick up a I + II release for less money than the PSX versions on Ebay, perhaps they snag some new faces into the series and have the release of the earlier games for those who like to retro game. That kind of move could prove to be quite profitable for them. Especially considering all of the hype and word of mouth that SII always gets from the fans.
