Title: Kingdom Hearts

No, I am not a huge fan of this series, and yes I have played and beaten all three games (the one on the gba.)

I dunno, I feel they tried too hard to have a serious game with Disney characters running around.

Here's my point; (spoiler, I suppose) Massively Epic

Skip to 1:20 of the video. HOW CAN YOU TAKE THAT SCENE SERIOUSLY! lol

I laugh every time I see it, though I doubt that was the intention. lol

Lazlo - February 15, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
lol that's really funny. (Tears in my eyes)

Yes, I didn't like this combination of Disney and FF.

Roundier Haia - February 15, 2008 07:41 PM (GMT)
Yeah. Cutsey and epic don't go together.

Alyster - February 15, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
Doesn't help that the battles are lame and repetitive.

McDohl - February 15, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
Let's just say they suceeded in making the series epicly hilarious. I love Kingdom Hearts though.

Ok, this part is funny a little but I like Disney and FF combination.
Don't know I guess this parts are what makes Kingdom Hearts intresting, and the battle isn't that bad, especially in KH2.

Is this and its sequel worth getting?? I'm coming to the end of Suikoden 5 and i need something else for when I am bored at night!! I've seen this in the shop several times but I've been undecided over whether its worth it or not!!

Nash - August 4, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
KH2 is alright. I think they went a little overboard on it though.

~

All I know is that...if Dark Wing Duck doesn't make it in Kingdom Hearts 3...

Heads will roll.

Kingdom Hearts series are fun but hard to play for someone that hate free-move epic (like me) I prefer FF (turn-based fights), despite the fact I love the twist stories about all these Hearts...

By the way, Zexion is cute :) (out of topic...)

Ryuuki - March 1, 2009 02:32 AM (GMT)
I'll have to agree, Turn-based games RULE! But I never found KH hard to play, I got stuck on a few bosses, but all in all, I killed the final boss without a single problem. I also completed Dalmatians and everything needed for the Extra Ending. Which was basically a stupid advertisement for KH2 ==

EDIT:
First few times I played KH, I was a everyphobia kid. So when I played KH I daren't go past the cave, it was too scary ><

Apparently I just suck at gaming in general <_<

I never managed to get off the island in the very beginning of the first game :( (Of course, I only had the game for a couple days and was not able to devote much time to it.)

@Hazuki-sama:
You did? At least you're not stuck being defeated by Riku for TEN times! Oh Riku, you're so evil :sweat

Ryuuki - March 4, 2009 10:56 AM (GMT)
Millie I'm suggesting you guard alot, gives a lot of experience and makes Riku much easier, I also got stuck at him the first time I played ><

Millie - March 25, 2009 12:22 PM (GMT)
Eh...sorry for being so silly but how we can guard? XD (I'm a type of person who hate reading tutorial)

Kuojiro Mandara - March 25, 2009 04:31 PM (GMT)
You can't Guard until you get the ability I'm pretty sure, you get it through leveling up but I can't quite remember which level but I think it also depends on what weapon you choose at the start of the game (talking about the sword shield and staff part). Anyways when you get the ability and set its the O button, so the best you can do is just level up until you get it, hope that helps ;)

Millie - March 26, 2009 09:27 AM (GMT)
Oh I see...well then, let me replay it for the seventh time as of this month :D Thanks for the info!

Ryuuki - March 26, 2009 09:48 AM (GMT)
Ahh sorry Millie, what I MEANT to say was attack when Riku attacks, it's like a parry. Sorry about the confusion about Guard.

Kuojiro Mandara - March 31, 2009 09:25 AM (GMT)
Yea parry is a great way to get to a higher level early on while your still on Destiny Island since everyone's attacks on the island are pretty easy to parry which gives extra experience, parrying Riku's attacks are 5 or 6 points a piece so you can level up quite quick if you draw out the battle, another way is with Tidus cause there's chance that you can get him to keep repeating one of his attacks over and over for 2 points each trust me it adds up quickly. Whenever I play by the time I'm off the Destiny Island I'm usually over level 10 with Sora.

Another thing about the Guard ability now that I think about I didn't use it all that much cause parry was alot more useful, the only time I used it was during the Ice Titan fight and I think for the first phase in the Sephiroth fight but as for the main story I never used it cause it was much easier to dodge attacks but I guess I will stop rambling now.

I've beaten the first one and I am up to 60 hours of the second one. I usually get bored of kingdom hearts usually after getting 60 hours in it. Then usually if I want to play it again, it's been years and I want to start over so I can remember what was going on.
It's okay, but when I'm playing it it's awesome.
