I finished this game about a month ago and thought it was nothing short than amazing. Especially the ending. What do you all think?

Ummm, well I got this game last November, and played up to the part just after you fight the ghost guy after being by the (hundreds, because i knock people out then put a bullet in their head for good measure) spirits of the people you have killed.

Honestly i could not be bothered sneaking around that complex, and I got a whole bunch of new games as well, so i leant it to my friend.

I just got it back, so I may finish it soon...

I have been a fan of metal gear series and I always like its story. I haven't finish it yet. I'm in the game were I just beat The End or the old guy who is a legendary sniper but I know its whole story because my brother spoiled it to me. What can I say about the ending well I guess it cleared things up about the patriots or the philosopher's legacy but there is still a lot of unanswered question about the series especially about the patriots. Anyway I really liked to know happened to Big boss after the events Msg 3.

welll after the game ended big boss opened fox hound... i think... well the name is varation of what he was in...and well he is in a lot of the older games like metal gear that were released way back in the day... and i believe he was the bad guy alot... but i do not really know a lot about it...

Big boss wasn't in the old metal gear games, that was still Solid Snake. Metal Gear was the main enemy, I am pretty sure that Big boss was never behind any of it.

I have read that big boss played some key roles... well i will have to look in my magizine.... it gave a full list of the games and some of their story all the way back to the begining...

hmmm, well i havent played the old games for literally 10 years or more, so I am a bit rusty, I could be wrong.

He was the main enemy in first 2 Solid Snakes the ones before Solid Snake 1 for PS1. When he created the two nation Zanzibar and Outer Heaven the nations for soldiers like him but too equal the powers of other strong forces in the world he was going to build Metal Gear and becauseof that the sent Solid Snake to finish the job. In first part Big Boss escaped in the second he got killed by Solid Snake.

was he called solid snake in the nes games? i though he was just called snake until the ps1 game came out then he was called solid snake.... just like the titles.... nes were metal gear, while the ps1 games were called metal gear solid


and actually the final boss in metal gear was big boss...

He wasn't called Solid, but thats who it was.

I don't think Metal Gear was the final boss of any of the games, but it was the main boss, like in MGS1 I would call the final boss Metal Gear, since like the car chase and crap aren't proper.

well i have not played metal gear solid for the ps1, i played it for the game cube, where they redid the graphics for it...but i would not say that the main boss is metal gear, i would say that it is liquid snake (in the mgs1) i have not played mgs2 yet and in three it was.... that guy that wore that crazy outfit that shot lightning out of his body, he does fight in his big nuclear rail gun launcher, but i would not say that is the main boss, nor would i saw that it was the boss...but she did play an exceptional role has a key manipulator in the whole game...

He was always called Solid Snake just the NES tittles were Called Metal Gear and the PS ones were Metal Gear Solid.

SO what was your favorite face paint and camo combonation? which one did you use a lot?


well my fav. was the complete black camo and the zombie face paint. but i proubly stuck with the woodlands face paint and camo combo the most... except where i wouls of been obviously seen... like in the mountians or in gradny grudge (was that what it was called?)


and did anyone ever use that mask that you got? i only did when i wore the scientist uniform and Ivan's army uniform...

I used the mask only when I had to be that liutenant. I got the shark title on the end more then 350 killed :)

What was your best boss?

I liked the End and the Boss I dont know from those two who is the best :)

fighting with "THE END" was awesome and a little scary.... well really more like it gave me a case of paranoia lol.... the first time i sneaked up where he was still on the cliff top and i was under him in the grass...but i missed and woke him up.... then i looked for him for.... forever... with the thermal googles and the directional mic. then he sneaked up on me... scared the crap out of me.... so i learned from that to stay in trees...

It was difrent for me I wa chasing him arround with my sniper. I was chasing him for like i think 2h before I killed him. That is one of the best boss fights i ever saw in games. But the fight with The Boss is full with emotions that is why it is soo good and that field of flowers.

I never could be bothered with The End boss fight...i just grab the sniper rifle and shoot him when he shows his face at the place where the boss, volgin, ocelot sokolov (think thats how its spelled) and eva are all hanging out.
Killing him there triggers the hardest bost fight in MGS history.....
The Wheel!!! It flys over every one once the end blows up and homes in on you like a missle!

THERES NO DODGING IT I TELL YOU! Well thats not the sad part...Er...Heres the sad part...It actually killed me once <_<
