Hi I have been addicted to downloading since sims 1, I download daily and get very agitated if I cannot find something to download. I have around 22,000 downloads (not as many as some I could mention ). I download more than I play the game and often end up deleting downloads. Do you think I need help?

but so do I. I have approx. 22,600 downloaded objects/skins currently in my game and still have about 7,000 left to install. I started downloading stuff when playing with Sims1 as well. I spent more time downloading stuff for the game than actually playing it.

When I switched to Sims2 I found myself playing more than downloading even though I do like to download stuff on a slightly regular basis. I've limited myself to a specific list of sites and do not stray from it very often. I have lots of ideas but find myself not always getting to see my ideas finished. I am hoping when Seasons comes out my dreams of a winter hood and a summer hood can finally come true -- think that will be the most fun for me.

Hooked on downloading because I like to decorate and worry I might miss a download that I might need. So always checking out updates.

Guess I don't belong in this thread...have just under 10,000 downloads. But I haven't played in a really long time and even when I did found Sims 2 downloads to be less attractive in the game than they looked in pics so delete alot.

Now Sims 1 I hate to think how many downloads I had.

Had lots of Sims 1 also......I had lots of themes and only put them in the game with I played with them.

Well must admit Sharon (Mysteekbug) got me hooked on Sims 1 and downloading, and I did a lot of downloading for Sims 1, but don't know how much, it was certainly more than Sims 2 though, but then I feel that there were more sites then also. Used to love Sim Secrets.

I know what you mean. I had downloaded so much stuff for S1 that my poor puter couldn't handle it. But it didn't stop me from downloading though!

Sims 1 could only handle so many downloads and that is why I rotated files. Couldn't give up my downloads.

I never played the Sims 1, but unfortunately got hooked on the sims2 when out of curiosity(curiosity killed the cat, you know) I sat down at the computer and clicked on that little icon.. Well enough said. I now have a 160Gb Hard dive and a 250GB external HD solely dedicated to the sims 2. It's a rare day that i don't go on a DL spree.I dont know how many files I have..To afraid to look. There is just to much good stuff out there to miss.

Nothing unfortunate. I feel that gameplay wise Sims 1 was a better game, but graphically Sims 2 took it a whole new level. I think that Vacation was my favourite expansion, so I think I am gonna love seasons. Well here's hoping.

I've actually cute a bunch out of my game. Took some doing but I managed it.

Sims 1 was easier to build with but I do like playing with the Sims in Sims 2 better. I like having facial expressions and watching their reactions to stuff.

Yep no doubt the graphics are a tremendous improvement, but I actually used to play the game more with Sims 1

Well, now that I've got Seasons I'm actually back into playing, and I finally organized my Pilgrim City neighborhood.
I had to get rid of quite a bunch of downloads becuase I didn't have enough space on my disc to install the EP.

I am loving the new way of organizing the Collections! Have been working on it site by site and it is so easy to use...now I just have to figure out if my game will run...almost done cleaning out my downloads.

Slow like a turtle I am.

OMG! Y'all are baaaaad. I have everything I have d/l pluse all the stuff I have created (a ton there, ya know) and I still only have 1.91 Gigs in my entire d/l folder. I thought I was bad, but you guys make me seem almost barren with my d/ls.

I have been d/l at MTS2 for the zoo animals....made a cool zoo and all.....

I've actually been cleaning out my game. LoL Decided that I am not going to keep a lot of stuff specially if I think it looks stupid in game.

Been very good when it comes to downloading stuff. Snagged a TON of stuff from you Mel and have to visit TSR again. But other than that I've been very good!

At least mine don't add new meshes to wanker up the game....

My downfall is everytime Caroline adds tracksuits. I have to have every color in every age. Those are my favs above all!

Gosh...I have gone from 10,000 to just over 6,000 and am getting ready to weed through my Clothes/Genetics again *all proud*

Too bad I can't play

And I have finally made all the Collection files I wanted...now I have to Categorize them. I will have the most organized unplayed game of everyone
