Well against my better judgement, I purchased a copy of Sims 3 and had a little look at it. My first impressions are it's good in some areas and not in others. Took me a little while to get to grips with it as some functions are slightly different and still have to learn to turn off the hints and tips, they were just annoying.

Loved the create a sim screen, especially changing the patterns and stuff and being able to save your newly created pattern, I enjoyed doing this.

There is not a lot of hair or clothing, so that makes it a bit of a bummer, although when you register the game you get 1000 sim store points and have access to a few more things, but nothing spectacular again.

Really pleased that MTS has a section up and running where you can download mainly houses and a mod that lets you put patterns in the game. Well it is early days, so I will come back and report and show screen prints when I can.

Don't have Sims 3 yet but have decided I am going to get it, hopefully next payday. I do like how MTS2 is able to put new patterns in the game. I am guessing that for some of the CC to work you will need to be able to change the pattern of it. Which will be cool for like sofas because you can download one you like but add the color you want. Some of the Sims look a little weird but I have seen some people make them where they look good. So it looks like something you have to work on.

From the pictures I have seen it has beautiful scenery.

Looking forward to seeing your pics BoogieCat.gif

Here are a few pics, I will take some more. My second go was a little better, but it really hard to play the vanilla game and get everything done.

Neat pictures. I really want to get the game but have to wait a bit longer. Ross is ill and so he needs tests to figure out what's wrong.
