preston is still in newport and engaged to marina. he needs the divorce from riley before he can go through with marrying his pretty blonde bride, so he doesn't know what to do. he has his lawyer send the divorce papers to the last known address that he has for riley in hopes that she'll just sign and return them. does she do that? of course she doesn't. instead, she comes home to see what the deal is.

[Madison Fontaine]

It's been 5 years since Madison Fontaine made her home in Newport and reunited with her Paris hook-up Volchok. Soon after Madison moved to Newport she started at Harbor she didnt stay there long because she got expelled due to stealing the answers to her Biology final. She then went to Newport Union for the rest of her schooling while she was doing this she began to date Volchok exclusively. One night while she was out with Volchok at a surfing event she was noticed by a famous photographer, this led to Madison being discovered and becoming a supermodel. She dropped out of Newport Union and and began to model exclusively, soon after she started her own clothing line. Volchok and Madison had a very turbulent relationship they were either On or Off. Madison when she and Volchok were off dated others but were somehow always drawn back to each other. One night after being off with each other for a few months, Volchok tracked Madison down to Paris where she was modelling. He said that she was the one girl who made him "crazy and tugged at his heart strings" He then got down on one knee and proposed to Madison on the Balcony of her hotel room with a view of the eiffel tower. She accepted his proposal and Madison is now living with him as his fiancee.

well, after that car crash which made her lose kevin volchok's baby, casey soon went back to the midwest and to the one guy who was always there for her, tanner. yeah, volchok had been there, but eventually casey figured that he wasn't enough to actually care for her and not leave her with shaylynn and others she probably didn't know about. and tanner, he was nothing but amazing. soon graduating from indiana university with a degree in social work, she began working for the state and waiting for her boyfriend to finish college. or at least his grad school work. and once that happened, he got a job in california as a sports trainer, so they moved. while in california, she began working for the state when she bumped into some guy on the street. they spoke for a bit, and somehow ended up exchanging numbers. a few months later, she got a call from the guy asking to just meet him for lunch. she did so, and somehow that ended up in a role in a movie for her, something she never planned for herself. the movie ended up doing really well, and she became a face people recognized. soon taking on a small number of projects, she continued doing what she wanted, helping out kids like herself. soon, she adopted two teenagers - a boy and a girl - and a little boy as well. she currently is moving to newport along with her still-boyfriend tanner (he hasn't yet popped the question), but when she heard about kevin's engagement, she didn't care. but until she read an interview where he said that madison was 'the only girl who he had ever loved', she started to have a bone to pick with him. and even if she doesn't care about his future - she's got her own family and he's getting married - she just wants to set things straight with her ex. and possibly warn the new girl of what she could very well be experiencing at some point in time.

[Luke Ayesa]

The last five years have been somewhat of a rollercoaster for Luke Ayesa. After all the drama he had caused in Newport, because of his flip flopping with women, both Summer Roberts and Bianca Williams had been involved in this, he had felt that it was best for him to leave Newport and just start over. He packed up what little things he had and left, just getting in his car and driving, unsure of his destination at that point in time. Luke had always planned on going to college and getting an education, it was important to him and so that was the first thing he set his mind to. Arizona State University had always interested Luke, as he had visited the campus a couple of times with his parents before moving to Newport, and so he applied and got accepted into the school, also gaining a small scholarship for his academic talents. The medical world had always interested Luke and he decided that his best decision for a major would be pre-med and that was exactly what he decided to do. Throughout his four years, he got a very serious girlfriend in his sophmore year, Lauren, and this relationship continued throughout all four years of his time at ASU. He did very well in his studies and after graduating, got an apartment with Lauren and an internship at the highly regarded Arizona Valley Hospital. Things were going well for Luke and he finally took the plunge and asked Lauren to marry him. She agreed and they set the date for later on in the year in September. Two months before the wedding, Luke discovered Lauren was sleeping with someone else when he caught them in the apartment they shared after a long shift at the hospital. Without even trying to patch up their relationship, Luke kicked Lauren out of the apartment and cancled the wedding, also packing all his things, he couldn't stay in Arizona, too much past for him, it was time to move again, and the first place he thought of was Newport. Now, he is back in Newport, looking for a fresh start and working at the hospital as a doctor now, just hoping to restart his life and forget about Lauren and Arizona.
