Character's personality: Becca is a fun loving, outgoing, spunky girl. She's witty, sarcastic, and athletic. She likes to pull pranks and goof off. She loves to write, sing and dance. She's intelligent and wants to go to college for a Creative Writing and Pre-Law major. Her ultimate dream is to be a singer.

Character's appearance: Becca has midlength brown hair and silvery blue eyes. She's really pretty and busty and what not.

Character's background: Becca grew up in New York City. She moved to Orange County with her father when he got a job at a better law firm out here. Her mother and father are divorced; as I said she went with her dad. Her mother was always horrible to her -- mentally abused, but Becca brushed it off. It wasn't like her mother was good at anything, so she just ignored her. Unlike her mother, Becca's father is a very successful man. He makes a lot of money at his new job, and supports her and her big brother Luke (senior/18).



As a child, Becca used to take a lot of dance classes and singing lessons. She always wanted to be a famous pop star, and now out in California where dreams do come true, she's striving to make her dream a reality.

Character's personality: Lillian is a spunkey and fun loveing girl...she isnt 1 bit shy and she is usually always one to get up on the table and start danceing first..she hides her feelings and that usually causes alot of problems..she has alot of freinds but no really best freind..she hangs out with an assortment of people...she couldnt be placed in a certian sicoal group (prep, goth, geek..ect.) she is more of just herself!

Character's appearance: Lilly is about 5'8 and had blond straight hair with dirty blond streaks, she had green eyes and is skinney, and is sort of athletic because shes a swimmer

Character's background: Lilly had lived in Orange County scince she was born...her dad was a succesful bank manager, and her mom a newspaper reporter..but when she was 9 her mother passed away from cancer..she has a little brother nick who is 11 and loves baseball..she hates being te only girl in their house because it makes girl things hard she only hopes that her father gets married again

Character's background: Mark is a senior at harbor. He is often seen at lunch hunching over a new novel, devouring the information along with his food. His family is of the upper-middle class society. He has recieved most of the things he has asked for without a problem yet also has not been spoiled. He got what he asked for only if he had enought to pay for it. This caused him to not be able to spend money like it would disappear if he didn't spend it the day he got it. He tries to uphold chivalry, eventhough nowadays, it seems to have completely disappeared from the world. He wants nothing more than the love of a girl he believes is perfect in his eyes. If he could have that, his life would be complete to him. He needs nothing more than love to fill the empty void in his heart that causes him to be so distant from others until they prove that they are trustworthy enough for him to open up to. So he can shed his recluse facade and be happy for once in his life...

Character's personality: Outgoing, but sweet. Not afraid to say what she thinks. Popular, but isn't a cheerleader. Nice, but can be a beotch when she needs to be.
Character's appearance: She looks a little like Mischa Barton, but with brown hair. She is very tan, and skinny like Mischa.
Character's background: She has lived in Newport her whole life. Her mom died when she was 4. Her dad remarried Jamie. Jamie abuses Mischa. When Mischa told her dad, he didn't belive her. Her dad is on a 6 month buissness trip in France.

Hey Alyssa! I'm so glad you applied! We don't have any active original charries anymore!

I definitely think you have a good start to your application, but I think it needs a little more work. For canon charries, they have to write an RP example because that application lacks any creativity. For this applicatoin, however, we don't require an RP example because we want the creativity to show through the character development. Definitely heading in the right direction, though. I love the abuse idea you have; I think that can lead to some great threading.

Also, I understand that in realy life, people can look similar, but just make sure that your character doesn't look just like Mischa, seeing that we already have a charrie that looks like her: Marissa. Its just that I'm sensing the whole named-Mischa-and-looks-like-her thing. I'm nearly sure that you wouldn't have made her look just like her, but I just wanted to point it out for my own comfort.

Bottom line: try to expand it a little more so that in addition to seeing what the character is like, we can see a little bit of your writing style at the same time.

Character's personality: Danni is smart but hides it. A bit of an outcast within the popular crowd. Doesn't enjoy parties as much as her friends but usually gets dragged to them. Like to make friends with everyone but being in the in-crowd prevents her from doing so. Even though she sounds shy she isn't. She hides behind her loud and sarcastic wall because of her fear of being rejected. Carries a journal but no one ever see's what's written in it. Inside of it she writes poetry and songs.

Character's appearance: Danielle has mid-back length dark brown hair. Almost black. Her hair is layered and had side bangs. Light blue eyes with a darker blue ring around them. Around 5'5. Slim but not annorexic. She is a pretty girl but not gorgous. She always feels the need to be prettier because her mother was once a model.

Character's background: Danni moved from New York to Newport for High School. Mainly became popular because she came from New York. Is an only child. Lives with her father. Her mother died when she was seven from a brain tumor. Her father is always out of town. Her and her father aren't very close and never have been. Her father works as a real estate investor. She thinks her and her father moved to Newport because it is safer but it is really because her father had been selling abandoned properties that he didn't own. Danni has gotten anything she has ever wanted. But because of her innocence and good nature it isn't much. What she wants most in the world is to feel loved. Living in Newport has been a problem for her because she wants to save herself for marriage. But with the pressure from her friends it is getting tough. Danni is currently single.

Character's personality: Jason is a jock, loves to play sports and listen to music. He is a nice guy who likes everyone as long as they are nice to him. Jason is very witty and loves to be the life of the party.
Character's appearance: Jason has dark brown/black hair that he spikes up and dark green eyes. He is about 6'3 and is very muscular and athletic from all the sports he plays.
Character's background: Jason greq up in New York with his sister Becca and his brother Luke. He went with his mom until he decided to move to Orange County and live with his bro and sis and father. He attends Harbor High school and is captain of some sports teams there.

Character's personality: Luke is an all american guy, who is very nice to everyone. He is very witty and charming, all the girls around town and school love him. He likes to be the center of the party.
Character's appearance: Luke has black hair that falls down into his eyes and deep green eyes that make girls melt when they look into them. He is around 6'2 and very athletic.
Character's background: Luke has lived in Newport all his life, as his parents both own much of Newport. He is very rich and loves to be able to have what he wants when he wants. He currently attends Harbor High School and one day wishes to become a Rock singer. He has a band that often plays at the Bait Shop.
