ah, nick. bianca took in a deep breath and averted her eyes from marissa if only for a moment to gain her thoughts. "it wasn't always rainbows and butterflies. he's seven years older than me and although that doesn't seem like a lot when you're older, it made so much of a difference when i was just an eighteen year old and he was twenty five. you just think about the different... goals that people those ages have. add in the fact that i got pregnant at eighteen and it got really difficult," bianca shrugged and looked down at the huge rock on her finger that showed just how much nick did love her. "i don't regret getting married or getting pregnant when i did, but i regret not being more mature. i was just a kid though.. and that's what kids do. they make mistakes. i paid for my mistakes when i got older and now we're finally okay. things aren't perfect for us every single day, but we work through things one day at a time. we love each other and that's all anyone can really hope for out of a relationship, right?"

Marissa could completely relate to Bianca's answer. As glad as she was to have married Ryan when she did, it was clear looking back that the two of them weren't exactly 100% ready as individuals. Marissa knew for sure that she, at least, had seen marriage as being idealistic and thought that things would always be fine and dandy, but their own problems as individual people interfered. In the end, though, they still loved each other. "Right," Marissa agreed at length. "I'm glad to hear that things are working alright for you guys," she said sincerely, more as a friend than as an interviewer. "It's nice to know that there's proof out there that people who get married young can make it." But Marissa was digressing. "How does your daughter feel about having a mom who designs clothes? Like, does she play dress up with your clothes?"

bianca grinned. her daughter was exactly like her in both personality and looks. not only was she an exact replica of bianca when she was younger, but she also had the same spitfire personality that her mother had. included in all of that came an automatic love for fashion. "she loves it. even more than she likes dressing up in my clothes, she likes using my makeup. she'll find a way to get into my makeup bag and she'll just apply a ton of eye shadow and lipstick. she sort of looks like a clown, but it's got to be one of the most adorable things in the world," and to bianca, it probably was the single most adorable thing in the world. then again, she was slightly biased, wasn't she?

((so lets face it, there's no way I'm going to think up a whole interview....))

Marissa finished up the interview after another good twenty minutes. At one point they got a little sidetracked (what else could be expected when two friends were catching up?) but by the end of the interview Marissa was confident that she had enough information to write your typical celebrity interview, and a good one at that. Being friends with Bianca definitely made the conversation flow more easily than it had with her average other interviewee.

Marissa hit the stop button on her tape recorder, then grabbing her discarded ice pop stick and wrapper, crumbling up the latter. "Can we rock an interview or what?" she asked, throwing her trash into the waste basket right nearby. "Definitely a good way to start off my new job."

(thank the lord. i was running out of smart-sounding answers)

after the interview had ended, bianca felt more at ease. she felt good being interviewed by her friend, but it would be even better just to be able to catch up with her, and have some much-needed girl time. "anything i can do to help," she retorted with a grin as she hopped off of the counter and threw the now bare popsicle stick into the trash can nearby. bianca adjusted the bun on the top of her head and sat down next to marissa at the table, tapping her perfectly manicured fingernails against the glass of the table as a small round of comfortable silence consumed them. "so," bianca started in an attempt to get caught up on her old friend's life. "now that you know about me and my life, i'm eager to hear about yours. what's up, coop?"

"now that you know about me and my life, i'm eager to hear about yours. what's up, coop?"

Marissa watched as Bianca took a seat next to her at the table, raising her eyebrows slightly at her question. "Ooh, so now it's my turn to be interviewed, I guess," she said jokingly. "Actually, I think things with me and Ryan are about where they are for you and Nick," she started, tracing her finger lightly along the table in front of her. "Like, we hit this 4 year long rough spot... but things are turning around now, I guess. I'm just glad the kids never got suspicious, but we're working it out now." Marissa shrugged her shoulders a little. She wanted to think that she and Ryan were completely out of the woods now that they were being flirty and having fun together again, but she knew that they still had a lot to work on before they'd be stable. "We're thinking about couple's therapy."
