Well I think Im going to give PS a run for its money...  tongue.gif

But what can I do, he doesnt even want my help. I offered to do a website for him because yahoo groups is gay and he didnt even say anything back!

Do you have to use the G word on here? blink.gif Nevertheless, not many of us know how PuzzleStudio is doing and a website is the least concern for PuzzleStudio at the moment. We need to see if the program functions correctly without bugs and levels actually work, as well as adding suggestions by CC players for improving the game interface.

@PsuFan: you might want to be a little less negative if you're offering someone help. smile.gif Tom is right - the game should be the focus right now. Plus, Chuck has assured me that the resources for the finished game will be web-based - definitely not on a Yahoo group.

Right now, I've ported some of my own levels over to Puzzle Studio for playtesting purposes. None use any of the new elements, though, but I'll probably try experimenting with the logic gates sometime soon.

Like John said, Chuck is probably waiting until the game is finished, at which point it would be moved to a "real" site.

Maybe he's busy with other things besides PuzzleStudio. Who knows, when it happens one of us will surely know so lets all just be patient. smile.gif

Once again, PsuFan, we are talking about different stages of development here. Right now, we have only a general idea of what the web site will even contain. And we wouldn't even be able to create the content for the website specifically for the game itself until all the game features are finalized, which will take a long time considering how things are moving currently.

Right now, Yahoo! Groups meets our needs. No, it's not perfect. But it's convenient considering that many of us who are or have been involved throughout the process (Chuck, Scott Feeney, Joshua Bone, a few others, and now I) have been on the CC Yahoo! Group in the past and are familiar with its interface. We are currently discussing and uploading files, and from what I can tell, the setup right now meets those needs quite well.

The notion that it is "stupid" is, quite honestly, just a personal opinion and to be quite frank, it doesn't display much sensitivity to Chuck's preferences or what is convenient for everyone else. Please keep that in mind. smile.gif

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Also, to add to what John said, Yahoo! groups provides the ability to have a temporary bulletin bored. that can only be seen by certain people. Yes, I'm sure that it is programmable to have a forum set up so that only the people who are involved can read it. The Yahoo! group does this with all of the coding already done.

I agree that there needs to be an official website, but in due time. We should not just rush in there and program a website that will need re-skinning every time a new update comes out over the next year or so. At least all of the game's graphics should be finished before the website takes form. wink.gif
