Forcast: The sun is shining brightly above the town, warming it with a blanket of heat. It's awfully humid, though. The air is moist and heavy, making breathing uncomfortable. There is an occassional rainshower, but it hardly lasts long at all. Strays should take advantage of this nice weather and find something to eat.
The weakest will die,
Only the strong will survive;
We are the power inside,
Here where the evil resides...
Stray canines have roamed the streets of the town for ages, suffering, fending for themselves, and eating scrap and refuse. The Humans of Northside, the rich, have never bothered to help; they simply fed and fed their fat housepups and never even cast a warm glance in the direction of a moth-eaten dog. The Humans of Westside, the middle-class, have offered some help, providing the strays with bits and pieces of dog chow and water. And then there were the cruel folks of Eastside, the poor, the town of the helpless and many gangs. Most Humans there simply chose to beat the strays as a game, threw sharp stones in the direction of helpless animals.
Of course, dogs were born with teeth and claws for a reason.
Many of them chose to fight back, snap at the Humans when they tried to kill them, and then run away before any more harm was done.It's your choice whether or not you'd like to live that lifestyle, but choose fast...

Cadwell Avenue
This street is the life of the town! There's a theatre, many returaunts, and the "Hot Dog Guy" wheels his cart down the sidewalk every weekend. He is a great source of food - if you can manage to steal a sausage. Garbage cans are on every corner, filled with delicious snacks that the Humans couldn't finish. Look out for hostile housepups!

The Golf Course
One could only expect to find a golf course in such a high-class area! It has many picnic tables around the restrooms, along with quite a few vending machines. Of course, all of this is away from the driving area. Be on the lookout, though: there are many Humans wandering around, and the workers do not tolerate the presence of strays on the course.

The Highway
All dogs should be wary of this busy road. Many large trucks and cars race up and down, back and forth. It's no wonder so many canines get hit and left on the side of the highway to die. Rabbits and other prey rarely venture so close to the speeding vehicles, so if a dog comes around, it isn't to hunt.

The Firehouse
Westside's fire department is full of kind and gentle Humans. Although it is hard to understand their words, they often hand out small pieces of chicken and bread if you visit around lunchtime. Gigantic red trucks sit quietly inside. But when an alarm goes off, the Humans leap into the vehicles and it becomes loud and ear-hurting. Two very friendly dalmations hang around the building, too.

The Dandy
This little store reeks of gasoline. Cars drive in and out, fed by the stinking liquid. This place is great to raid the garbage cans at night, but during the day dogs should try their best to avoid the Humans.

Birch Street
This street is quiet and calm. Most houses leave dog food and water on their porches, and if you're lucky, a box lined with a soft blanket. The Humans aren't too friendly if they find a stray digging in their back yard, or if the dog is chasing the outside cats. The ice cream truck often drives down the street, singing happy tunes.

Stray Haven
Strays who want to remain strays should try to avoid this place. They take dogs and cats inside to find new homes, but otherwise there is nothing here but perhaps a few friends.

The Alleys
The Alleys are stray central! The dumpsters smell, but are full of delicious treats, especially those in the backs of resturaunts. Boxes and old matresses litter the sides of these mini-streets, making comfortable beds. Of course, no place is perfect. Many hostile strays lurk these passages, most of them over-territorial and selfish.

The Railhouse
Probably one of the brighter places in Eastside, the Railhouse bar and grill can become quite noisy. At the side door (which is accessible by squeezing through two walls), the chefs often give out leftovers to the strays, but only if you are willing to be so close to the Humans. Otherwise, it is prefered by most dogs to keep away from this building.

The Junkyard
A canine 'hotspot', the Junkyard is a great place for strays to get away from Humans and relax. There are a few around, along with the aggressive guard dogs, but it is a quiet place to hang around. It isn't for hunting, though. No prey stays in the Junkyard for long, if at all.
