So you've just got a really crazy alternate history going on there, doncha?
I didn't bring HoI2 to college with me, as my laptop doesn't have a pause button, and pressing that has become so engraved into my mind, that I can't go back to having to click the time every time I want to stop the game.... So instead I've been playing Europa Universalis 3, as that just let's me use the space bar to pause. -------------------- You can't spell slaughter without laughter.

Yeah, WWII started a year early, and France/England doesn't care. The Soviets broke the NAP however, and right now there's a stalemate on the Eastern Front. We just can't seem to break through each others lines really. Oh, and it's April of 1939 right now for time scale. -------------------- This is inevitable. This may not happen today, it may not happen tomorrow, but it will. Is it time for humanity to go the way of the dinosaur? While the tools to stop this exists, we are content to procrastinate on finding these. It won't happen to me in my lifetime, says the average citizen. What would they do when it does?

Just some tips for later games:
-When building an airforce, close air support bombers are the only real worthwhile thing to build. Strategic bombers can be useful if you massively focus on them (Building dozens upon dozens upon dozens), until you have enough to completely eradicate a countries entire IC within a few weeks, but otherwise, the cost for strategic and tacticals are too high for the meager damage they cause. -In that same vein, brigades don't add enough to a unit's stats to make up for their cost. It's more cost effective to use that IC to just build more units instead. -Synthetic oil research usually isn't worth it (Unless you're playing an oil starved nation), neither are any techs that improve brigades, and the game is usually effectively over before the nuclear research starts becoming actually useful. That's all I can think of now.... Been too long since I've played a full game to remember everything.... -------------------- You can't spell slaughter without laughter.

Ah. When building my air force, I built air superiority fighters and aircraft with high soft and hard attack.
And I built police brigades, and some various anti-tank brigades... Does that count? ![]() I just trade supplies/energy for oil/metal/rare materials anyways. And the Soviet Union is big... -------------------- This is inevitable. This may not happen today, it may not happen tomorrow, but it will. Is it time for humanity to go the way of the dinosaur?
