Time to begin!

Raezhul
A rouge Gaided, Raezhul has only recently wandered into the city of Kiev (Because that's what Rouge Gaided do. They aimlessly wander into plot-centric cities), an Omegian city on the Cainanite side of the shared region. He is now in the warehouse district on the city, on the southeast bank of the Dnieper River. The rows of block like, featureless buildings offer a wonderful hiding place for those who wish to not be found, and as such is the center of many of the illegal dealings in the city. Occasionally a black OSN helicopter will pass overhead, causing the people in the streets to scatter into the dark buildings.

Arthur
Arthur is a recent defector from the Omegian military to the Shadow Mercenary Organization. Originally working on the Omegian-Indian border, the Shadow agents who helped him go AWOL smuggled him to Kiev, where he is less likely to be recognized. He is currently in Shadow's official Kiev Branch HQ, being briefed by the Kiev Branch's leader, Qetesh. She is a Hunter Gaided who appears to be in her 30s, with navy blue hair and dark blue eyes. She has already given him his uniform (A black double breasted coat with a large red ankh on the back, and a smaller red ankh over the heart, and black slacks) and a laptop computer.
Qetesh: "Remember, the computer is for Shadow use only. We'll use it to send you information if you're out in the field. It should be safe from most hacking attempts, but try to keep the amount of information you keep on it limited, just in case. Also, the uniform is only to be worn during official Shadow business. For more secretive things, we'll provide you with street clothes. Now, due to some recent casualties we've suffered, we have an opening for you on one of our teams. You can meet with them in Briefing Room C, on the second floor. I'm sorry I have to send you out on a mission so soon, but we're currently a bit understaffed here. You'll have more time to familiarize yourself with the area and organization once you get back."
She leans back in her chair, and smiles slightly. "I suppose I should welcome you. Remember, we aren't Omegia. If you ever have any questions or need assistance, feel free to ask anyone. The veterans will be happy to help you out. We do have a formal command structure, though we are much more informal than the Omegian military. Probably not as informal as the OSN, but pretty close. You'll start out as a Lance Constable, by the way. So. Any questions, or do you want to go ahead and meet your new team?"

Aloysius Stahl
After a brief time being a Rouge, Aloysius chose to join Holy Fire, as a way to further his personal goals. After talking to a guy, who sent him to another guy, who sent him to a payphone, which directed him to an alley, where he found a map with rather confusing directions, he was finally led to an old, crumbling warehouse in Kiev's warehouse district. Inside, the warehouse was empty, save for a table in the middle, and a Gaided sitting behind it. The lights in the warehouse had been angled so that everything from his chest up was obscured by darkness, though in the little light given, the silhouette of a man wearing an all white suit, with two black wings behind him, could be seen.
"Mr. Stahl. My time is short, so I will be brief. I will not give you my name at this time, but you may refer to me as A. According to my agents who have been following you, you are either not some spy, or if you are, a very good one. As such, we are allowing you to join our organization, at least as a probationary member."
He places an unmarked suitcase on the table.
"Inside you will money, a cell phone, and the keys and location of a safe house we have set up for you. The phone is untraceable; we run our own network. The phone is to be only used for Holy Fire purposes. If we find you using it for anything else, we will kill you. I will send you orders over it. You are only to obey orders sent by me. As Lord of Holy Fire in this city, I am making you work for me personally. You are not to do work with any of the Barons in the city unless I have given my permission to do so. You are only to call me to report a missions success. Again, if you use it to call me otherwise, we will kill you. The safe house we are providing you is located in the slums on the northeastern bank of the Dnieper. While you are there, you are not to attract any attention to yourself. Do not use the safe house more than you have to. As for a uniform, that will be provided after you have proved yourself to me. Even then, you should not wear it unless needed. I can't be having with my men flaunting that they are members of Holy Fire out in the open."
He sighs slightly, and rubs his forehead. "And because every single recruit we've gotten has asked this: No. We don't have Samael's Gaia Stone. I have no information concerning its location, nor does, to my knowledge, any of the Lords in the other cities. As far as I can tell, it's gone. Likely some Shadow fanatic threw it into the ocean in hopes of preventing Samael from ever returning. Now then. My time I have to spend with you is over. Please leave this place quietly and discretely. I will be calling you with orders soon. If you survive, you may just prove yourself worthy of Holy Fire."

Saul
Continuing his quest to hunt down all those his bible condemns, Saul's journey has taken him to Kiev. He now finds himself in the slums on the north eastern coast of the Dnieper River. Hunched over people, in rags and tattered clothing dart about the street, quickly going between the cramped and old buildings. Many of the buildings date back from After Armageddon, lacking the most basic modern conveniences such as running water. Cainanites sometimes walk through the street, usually clustered together in groups, though often ignored by the humans. Black police cars occasionally drive through, receiving a strangely positive reception from the people as they nod in acknowledgment towards the human officers, or even call the car over to ask for assistance. The sight of a trench coat clad Gaided, however, sends people scurrying inside buildings as they cautiously wait for the Gaided to pass.
All of this escapes Saul's notice, as he pages through his bible. The site of a child walking on his own through the streets causes some suspicious glances, though the more observant notice his Gaia Stone and quickly go onwards.

Quetzalcoatl
After working as a garrison soldier in South America, Quetzalcoatl was transferred to Kiev's OSN. He is currently at the OSN's Kiev HQ in the center of the city on the western bank. Only a block away is Kiev's massive Gaia Generator, a domed building which hums with a low light that provides some illumination to the entire surrounding area. He has received his uniform, weaponry, and ID badge, and is currently speaking with Michael, the head of the Kiev OSN. He is a strangely cheerful looking Gaided with black hair slicked to one side, and violet eyes.
Michael: "That should be all of your standard issue equipment. You may notice some differences between this and the military grade stuff. We both use the same bullet proof trench coats, however, instead of the bullet proof black shirts and stuff that goes underneath, ours is more designed for things such as knives and other stabbing implements, which you have a greater chance of facing out here than military grade firearms. Also you'll notice that we've given you a short sword instead of a long sword; again, due to the urban environment. Hopefully you'll get used to it. There's also the automatic pistol and flash bang grenades; try not to use them too liberally. Bullets flying everywhere is not good for PR. You're ID badge is level 1; that should get you into the training room, briefing room, the basic armory, your sleeping quarters, and some of the other minor rooms in the building. You'll also notice we removed the sword from your cane. Sorry about that, but standard OSN policy is to not allow personalized weapons until the Gaided has proven that they won't be killed off too soon. Though I'm sure that won't be too much of a problem; after that recent power struggle Holy Fire had a few months ago, things have been mostly quiet around here. Of course, we'll have to run you through a mission on your own first. If you come back in one piece, you'll be fully accepted as a member of the OSN. But before that, I'll have Nirgal give you a brief tour of the place. Though I'd recommend asking me any questions you have before the tour; he's a bit more uptight when it comes to the "Not giving new recruits any assistance" regulations we have. He'll meet you right outside my office, and once he's done showing you around, he'll brief you on the mission you have to do."
Michael claps his hands on his desk and leans forward slightly. "So then, any questions before I throw you out on your own?"

Moeseko
Another newcomer to the city of Kiev, Moeseko's quest has brought him to the factory district on the southwest bank of the Dnieper. While the work day is over, some of the factories still are running, often being run by Cainanite employees, who require less sleep than their human counterparts. A low glow comes from the active factories, as power is provided to them from Kiev's massive Gaia Generator. The other factories are dark and silent, the only motion coming from the small animals scurrying around in them, or from the few vagrants skilled enough to break in as they scavenge for any useful supplies.

Ragnar Lodbrok
A Holy Fire recruit who has grown distant from Holy Fire, Ragnar resides in the seedy, run down apartment on the western outskirts of Kiev which was provided as his safehouse. He has been out of contact with his superiors within Holy Fire for the past few weeks, and the phone they use to contact him through is running low on battery power from neglect. Only his past record within the organization has prevented him from being killed outright. The other inhabitants of the apartment building pay him little attention, wrapped up in their own often illegal activities. The landlord asks no questions, content to tolerate Ragnar as long as Holy Fire continues to send him triple the usual rent payed.

Perseus
Perseus arrived in Kiev earlier this day, after sneaking past the Cainanite and Omegian border patrols around the city. He is currently in the slums at the northeast edge of the city. (The place is like that described in Saul's description. Except less populated. And with a higher percentage of Cainanite citizens. And people aren't looking at you strangely because you're a kid.)

Now get to it people. If you haven't completely ruined the canon Omegian timeline and thrown the whole world into chaos by page 10, I will be very disappointed in all of you. GreenWink.png

There's a small pub about a block away. The sign is old and the paint weathering away, making the name almost illegible. You think it might say "Lord's Pub", but your not sure.
The interior is very dimly lit. There's only four customers, two humans and two Cainanites. They glance at you briefly before returning to their drinks. Bartender ignores you.

The elevator takes you to second floor. There's a sign in front of you when the elevator opens up. An arrow pointing left says "Briefing rooms A-E", and an arrow pointing right says "Briefing Rooms E-H".

"Very well. Nirgal, please come in."
A blond Gaided walks in. You notice he's wearing glasses, which you think is odd, as Gaided have perfect eyesight, until you realize that there aren't any lenses in them. Also he keeps his trench coat buttoned up, unlike most Gaided who prefer to keep it open to make a more impressive billowy effect.
"Yes sir?"
"This is Quetzalcoatl, our new recruit. Please show him around the place."
Nirgal glances at you briefly. "Very well. Follow me."
