Training Grounds
The former execution grounds where the Soukyoku used to be, are now training grounds for officers.
Releasing your zanpakutou without approval on these grounds is not a criminal offense, unlike in the rest of Soul Society.

The Shinigami Academy
The Academy was founded over 2000 years ago by Yamamoto-Genryuusai to train future shinigami.
The school lasts six years and not all survive the training.
